Abstract

A traditional game of tarik upih for children is a fun game. Tarik upih is the stem or "base" of the areca nut leaf. Tarik upih can be played by two or more people. Through traditional play-ups, children are taught to be honest, cooperate, tolerance, tough, and train children's psychomotor movements. The purpose of this study is to determine the development of children's gross motor skills through traditional play-based traditional wisdom. This qualitative study used 15 research subjects of PAUD Harapan Bunda Kelurahan Sungai Pagar Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Hilir Kecamatan Kampar conducted in January 2020. The results showed that students had achieved Very Good Developing (BSB) results in coordinating movements for flexibility, balance (73%), coordinating eye-foot-hand-head-head movements (86.7%), and doing a physical play with rules (80%). Traditional play games for kids are taught to be honest, cooperate, tolerance, tough, train children's psychomotor movements, form a caring person, and have a love for their culture. The conclusion is the development of gross motor skills through tarik upih of traditional play based on local wisdom developed very well in PAUD Harapan Bunda students in Sungai Pagar Village, Kampar Kiri Hilir District, Kampar Regency. Keywords: Education, Children, Local Wisdom, Traditional Games, Pull-Out Activity

Abstract

This study focuses on self-concept, years of service, and educational background that affect the work motivation of the head of RA Pekanbaru City. The hypothesis proposed is that there is an influence between self-concept, years of service, and educational background on the work motivation of the Head of The Raudhatul Athfal City of Pekanbaru. The subjects of this study were 27 RA Heads of Pekanbaru City. The data analysis technique is correlation analysis in the SPSS for Windows program. The results of the study between self-concept, years of service and educational background influence the work motivation of RA heads, expressed in the results of the study with an R Square value of 28% (0.282), higher than the value of σ = 5% and an F value of 6.913 above the value 10% showing no symptoms of multicollinearity. This study states that self-concept, years of service, and educational background have a significant effect on the work motivation of the head of the RA City of Pekanbaru. The effect of self-concept, years of service, and educational background on work motivation show a significance value (Sig.) Of 0.010 with a value of σ (significant degree) 0.05, meaning 0.01 <0.05; meaning is that there is a significant influence between the influence of self-concept, years of service and educational background on the work motivation of RA Kota Pekanbaru head

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh tim dosen dan mahasiswa Universitas Islam Riau memiliki tujuan utama untuk meningkatkan soft skill guru PAUD yang berada di daerah agar tetap memiliki semangat mengajar dan mengembangkan kompetensi diri. Sasaran pelaksanaan kegiatan kepada seluruh guru PAUD Kecamatan Kuantan Mudik, dimana kegiatan dilakukan pada tanggal 6-7 Oktober 2021 di KB Mawar Putih Kecamatan Kuansing Mudik Kabupaten Kuantan Sengingi yang berjumlah 12 orang. Metode kegiatan berupa ceramah dan prktik langsung dengan peserta. Hasil pelatihan dan pendampingan ini agar para guru dapat memperhatikan dan mengembangkan soft skill dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sebagai guru professional dan menjadi teladan bagi para peserta didik. Selain itu, guru PAUD dapat menguasai teknik mendongeng yang baik dan mempraktekkan kepada peserta didik di sekolah masing-masing.  Community service carried out by a team of lecturers and students at the Islamic University of Riau has the main goal of improving the soft skills of PAUD teachers in the area so that they have the spirit of teaching and developing self-competence. The activity's target is all PAUD teachers in Kuantan Mudik District. The activity will be carried out on 6-7 October 2021 at the Mawar Putih KB, Kuansing Mudik District, Kuantan Sengingi Regency, totalling 12 people. The activity method is in the form of lectures and direct practice with participants. The results of this training and mentoring are so that teachers can pay attention and develop soft skills in daily life as professional teachers and become role models for students. In addition, PAUD teachers can master good storytelling techniques and practice them on students in their respective schools.

Abstract

Media playdough merupakan salah satu bahan permainan edukatif karena dapat mendorong imajinasi anak. Media playdough merupakan bahan yang sangat cocok ntuk anak usia dini. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengembangan seni rupa tiga dimensi untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak melalui media playdough siswa RA Asiah Pekanbaru. Subyek penelitian adalah anak kelompok B RA Asiah yang berjumlah 14 anak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret 2019. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai adalah observasi, dokumentasi, dan hasil karya. Penelitian dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif dengan jumlah 3 orang, dua menjadi peneliti yang bertindak sebagai guru dan teman bertindak sebagai observer/pengamat. Analisis data meggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis interaktif Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan seni rupa tiga dimensi untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak melalui media playdough di kelompok B RA Asiah dimana anak sudah terlihat mampu membuat karya seni rupa tiga dimensi dan terlihat minat serta kreativitas anak terhadap pembelajaran seni rupa tiga dimensi melalui media playdough.

Abstract

Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah apakah ada hubungan antara kematangan beragama dengan konsep diri? Manfaat teoritis penelitian ini adalah dapat digunakan untuk memberikan kontribusi keilmuan yang lebih jelas mengenai kematangan beragama dengan konsep diri, sehingga hal ini dapat memperkaya khazanah keilmuan psikologi pada umumnya dan psikologi agama pada khususnya, serta diharapkan dapat memacu perkembangan ilmu psikologi, selain itu sebagai referensi dan penelitian lebih lanjut yang sejenis. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik Jurusan Teknik Sipil Universitas Islam Riau angkatan 2009 yang berjumlah 85 orang. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi sederhana untuk mengetahui besar hubungan antara kematangan beragama dengan konsep diri dengan menggunakan program komputer SPSS for Windows 15.0. Hubungan antara variabel kematangan beragama dan konsep diri ditunjukkan dengan koefisien Rxy=0,059 dengan p<0,589 dengan arah hubungan positif yang menunjukkan semakin tinggi kematangan beragama maka semakin tinggi pula konsep dirinya, begitu juga sebaliknya.

Abstract

Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sikap siswa non muslim dalam mengikuti pelajaran Arab Melayu dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi sikap kurang perhatian siswa non muslim dalam mengikuti pelajaran Arab Melayu di SDN 016 Kampung Pinang Kecamatan Perhentian Raja Kabupaten Kampar. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah secara teoritis untuk memperkaya khazanah ilmu pengetahuan tentang sikap siswa non muslim dalam mengikuti pelajaran Arab Melayu. Dan secara praktis, diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pemikiran kepada siswa non muslim, orang tua dan lembaga tempat penelitian sehingga dapat digunakan untuk memperbaiki pola pikir siswa non muslim mengenai pelajaran Arab Melayu. Hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa sikap siswa non muslim dalam mengikuti pelajaran Arab Melayu dikategorikan “tidak positif” (33,59 %). Adapun faktor-faktor yang lebih banyak mempengaruhi sikap siswa non muslim dalam mengikuti pelajaran Arab Melayu SDN 016 Kampung Pinang, yaitu faktor internal ini berasal dari dalam diri siswa. Sedangkan faktor eksternal berasal dari luar diri siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to introduce the procedure for ablution in the development of Islamic education through the medium of the slowdown in group B in RA Asiah, Pekanbaru city. The research was carried out because there were problems in the introduction of ablution procedures. The results of the observation on the evaluation of the introduction of ablution procedures in the development of Islamic education through the propagating media in group B in RA Asiah can be concluded that the introduction of the procedure for ablution through the image media is carried out optimally. The activity of introducing the procedures for the ablution of children given by educators goes according to the expectations and achievements of development, which are used as indicators of implementation on aspects of strength and balance

Abstract

The development of cognitive abilities is the ability to think of children to develop creativity towards the world around them. This type of research is classroom action research conducted in two cycles. This study aims to evaluate the increase in the ability to recognize the symbol number 1-20 through child worksheets at the age of 5-6 Years at TK Kartika 1-21 Pekanbaru. Research subjects are teachers and children aged 5-6 years with a total of 15 children. Based on the results of the study in spelling out by pointing objects 1-10 there were 10 children (67%) with the criteria of Developing by Expectations (BSH), then in appointing a symbol of 1-20 there were 9 children (60%) with the criteria of Developing Accordance with Expectations (BSH), and in connecting or pairing 1-10 symbols there are 10 children (67%) with the criteria of Developing by Expectations (BSH) and this shows that the ability to recognize numbers 1-20 in TK Kartika 1-21 Pekanbaru has met the criteria well.

Abstract

Character education is the foundation of children for their future and character education serves as the basis for self-discipline and becomes a means of controlling children when they behave. Values ​​that are not necessarily by the surrounding community. Noble values ​​can be sourced from existing local wisdom, wisdom values ​​to realize the aspirations of the nation physically and mentally. Through traditional games, it is also a form of tradition in people's lives to create an atmosphere and expression that is fun and uplifting to build children's character from an early age. Traditional games that can be categorized as good must be able to help aspects of children's development both physically and psychologically. Traditional games of attraction are sufficient to explore the physical abilities of children. When playing the game of attraction, children interact a lot with others, control emotions, cooperate, respect friends, and hone language skills. Introducing local wisdom through traditional games of Tarik-upih to children from an early age will form a person who cares and has a love for their culture. So that there will be generations with personalities and functional values ​​for the nation and state.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the increase in reading skills by mentioning the initial letters through the media of picture cards. The research subjects were 18 children of group B PAUD Ar-Rahma. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, namely, cycle I and cycle II, through stages, planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The data collection techniques used were observation and documentation. The data analysis method used was descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The Classroom Action Research was carried out collaboratively with a total of 4 people and 3 being a researcher at the same time acting as a teacher and friend and the other acting as an observer. The conclusion of the research result is the improvement of reading ability by using initial letters through picture card media in PAUD Ar-Rahma students.
