<![CDATA[Beach tourism is one of the favorite attractions of the community, especially in Indonesia. Aside from being cheap, Indonesia's 70% natural condition is the oceans and coastal areas that make coastal tourism appear a lot. The tourism object of the Turtle Village is located in the Tulang Village of Barugaiya District in Selayar Island Regency. From the results of research and data processing on the Analysis of Potential Kampung Penyu areas for coastal tourism areas by conducting direct observations and quantitative descriptive methods through scoring that is high potential. For Conformity Value of Coastal Tourism by looking at a number of variables from 3 location points, the results show that the area is very suitable for coastal tourism activities. For carrying capacity or carrying capacity, location 1 can accommodate around 889 people / day for coastal tourism activities, location 2 can accommodate 816 people / day for beach tourism activities and location 3 can accommodate 351 people / day for beach tourism activities. By looking at the potential, suitability and carrying capacity, a Regional Development Strategy can be formulated, namely the need to socialize to the community the community's readiness to develop areas other than coastal tourism areas but also ecotourism and culture. This can be done using the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) between communities and StakeHolder to find obstacles, and problems that hinder the development and development of tourism areas generally in Bontomanai Sub-District and especially in Kampung Penyu Areas.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to (1) Analyze stakeholder perceptions of ecological, social, economic, and institutional and policy aspects, (2) formulating the policy strategy of marine tourism in order to developing marine tourism in Betoambari sub-district Bau Bau City. This research was held on November 2018 until January 2019 at Nirwana Beach and Lakeba Beach Betoambari sub-district Bau Bau City. Determination of the research location was determined intentionally (purposive sampling) by considering the potential possessed of Nirwana Beach and Lakeba Beach. Nirwana Beach and Lakeba Beach have physical and non-physical potential to be developed as a marine tourism area. The type and source of research data is a combination of quantitative and qualitative descriptions. The data used in the research are primary data and secondary data. Analysis of determining stakeholder perceptions, that is by conducting direct interviews with related parties. Calculations for weighting perception data values using a Likert scale. From the results of the weighting that obtained, then a SWOT analysis was carried out to form a strategy for tourism policy in order to develop marine tourism in Nirwana Beach and Lakeba Beach Betoambari sub-district Bau Bau City. The results of the research show that stakeholder perceptions for the development of maritime tourism from the social, economic, ecological, infrastructure and legal, institutional and policy dimensions are agree strongly and agree. The strategy of building a good cooperative relation between the regional goverment and the local community towards the development of marine tourism object areas. Investmentstrtaegy between government and private parties. There needs to be a Regional Regulation that regulates the management of marine tourism. Carry out counseling about the importance of environmental sustainability and sustainability of aquatic resources.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims (1) to analyze the relationship between external and internal factors on the sustainability of the marine tourism of Osi Island and (2) formulate a model for the development of marine tourism in Osi Island. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. Data sources are tourists who are and have been to Osi Island. Techniques used in data collection include field studies / observations and literature studies. Data analysis was performed using a strucktural equation model (SEM) analysis with AMOS analysis tools. The results showed that: (1) Variable internal and external factors significantly influence the sustainability of tourism on Osi Island where human resources are more dominant to contribute to this due to community awareness in the local village in terms of maintaining cleanliness and managing existing nature. Based on this it can be said that in terms of environmental aspects the marine tourism area of Osi Island has fulfilled what is said to be sustainable. (2) the final model of this research is interpreted for the future development plan of Osi Island where the development plan must be based on the vision of sustainable tourism and because Osi Island is a self-managed tourism area, it can develop a community-based tourism model with all stakeholders related namely the central government, local government, etc. can participate in the development both directly and indirectly so that the impact of the development of the model results in an independent community from all aspects.]]>

<![CDATA[Salt is one of the national strategic commodities. But until now the notional needs of salt have not been met by national salt production in the country, one of the efforts to increase salt production in the country is to optimize existing potential salt field. The island of tanakeke in takalar district of southern sulawesi province has a potential salt field, wich is not yet well watered. The reseach’s aims (1) to anayize potential land appropriations for the development of salt pans on tanakeke island (2) to analize the salt-farm development cost (3) to determine salt pond development strategies based on the characteristics of the research area. Research suggetts that the total potential land most suitable for development of salt pond at 1.106,58 ha or about 38,91 % of the total land on Tanakeke islands. Based on the financial analysis of the salt pond with geomembran method on an acre of land on tanakeke islands are feasible to continue. Followed by the investment criteria acquired by NPV>1, Net B/C>1 and IRR>discount rate. Selected combination of strategies (1) Priority strategies; Training in increased human resource capacity and Infrastructure improvements. (2) altenative strategies; salt regulatory improvements.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to see the feasibility of the small crab catcher and suitable indicators developed by fishermen in Bonto Ujung Village, Tarowang, Jeneponto district to maintain the availability of small crab resources in order to continue to provide benefits. This study uses a survey method by submitting a questionnaire to the respondents. The business feasibility data was analyzed using standard formulas that were generally available, while the small crab fishery business development strategy was analyzed by SWOT. The results showed that the crab fishery business using gill nets and traps that are currently available is still feasible to be used and developed. The strategy for developing small crab fishery business in Bonto Ujung Tarowang Village should take an effective catching strategy with a fishery information system, management arrangements, catching timing arrangements, increasing supervision with related parties, increasing knowledge of technology and information, increasing the marketing chain, increasing access to capital and access to information. to increase business opportunities, increase community innovation.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the economic value of mangrove forests in Balang Baru Village and recommend strategies for developing mangrove forest tourism objects in Balang Baru Village, Kec. Tarowang Kab. Jeneponto. The results showed that the total economic value of the mangrove ecosystem in Balang Baru Village, Kec. Tarowang Kab. Jeneponto consists of direct benefit value, indirect benefit value, option value and existence value. Based on the results obtained, the focus of the strategy recommendations is then determined. The results of the analysis show that the strategy used is in diagram 1, which is to support an aggressive growth policy, where this position is a very profitable situation. The strategy used in the aggressive growth policy is optimizing the Balang Baru mangrove tourism attraction while maintaining its uniqueness and sustainability, providing guidance to tourism managers and coordinating with the government and other parties to support the development of mangrove tourism areas.]]>

<![CDATA[Southeast Sulawesi region, especially the Palabusa waters area of Buton Regency, has become a center for cultivation of several economical species, one of which is the mabè pearl (Pteria penguin). This research was conducted with the aim of identifying the suitable area for the development of mabè pearl cultivation and determining the carrying capacity of the area in Palabusa waters in developing mabè pearl cultivation. This research was conducted in September to November 2020. The data collection was carried out in two parts, namely field and laboratory activities. The data obtained then were analyzed descriptively. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Physical, chemical and biological parameters in Palabusa waters indicate the potential site suitability for the development of mabè pearl cultivation are in the very suitable category (SS) is 128, 3 Ha, quite suitable (S) is 64,5 Ha and not suitable (N) is 47,7 Ha for mabè pearl cultivation; (2) The carrying capacity of Palabusa waters for the development of pearl mabè pearl culture is 847 units. Further research needs to be carried out, especially regarding social and economic aspects as well as other water quality parameters that affect the determination of the suitability of mabè pearl cultivation areas such as environmental pollution, waves and tides.]]>

<![CDATA[Ammani Hamlet is located in Mattiro Tasi Village, Mattiro Sompe District, Pinrang Regency, South Sulawesi. In this area there is tourism potential, namely Harapan Ammani Beach. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception and strategy of tourism development so that Ammani Beach can be developed sustainably. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive method. The study was conducted for two months. The results showed that the potential for the development of Harapan Ammani beach for beach tourism was very suitable (S1) to be developed into beach tourism based on the tourism suitability index (IKW) which was 92.86%. The community's perception of the development of Harapan Ammani beach tourism is agreeing with a percentage of 100% and this indicates that Harapan Ammani beach tourism is feasible to be developed. The strategy for developing tourist objects and attraction data in the application must really pay attention to the maximum existing potential as well as facilities and infrastructure in order to create maximum attraction, so that many people want to visit.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to determine the Potential, Perception and Ecotourism Development Strategy of Lemo-Lemo Beach, Tahah Lemo Village, Bonto Bahari District, Bulukumba Regency. This research was conducted using qualitative descriptive method. This study was conducted from October to November 2023. The results showed that the potential for the development of lemo-lemo beach is very suitable (S1) to be developed into beach tourism based on the tourism suitability index (IKW), which is 91%. Public perception of the development of Lemo-Lemo beach tourism are: Attractiveness 83.64%, Accessibility 44.51%, Condition of tourism objects 59.73%, Supporting facilities 62.63%, complementary facilities 39.12%, So the overall perception of the Lemo-Lemo beach community category agrees with a percentage of 100% and this indicates that Lemo-Lemo beach tourism deserves to be developed. The Lemo-Lemo beach tourism attraction development strategy must promote the potential of beach tourism, improve the development of facilities and infrastructure as well as accessibility and cooperate with local governments and related agencies.]]>
