Abstract

This study sets out to examine factors influencing audit fees paid on public accountant firm (KAP) in East Java. Data were collected from 2012 company annual reports audited by KAP. An audit fee models using a sample of 84 audited financial reports by using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings show a direct relationship between audit fees and each of corporate size and audit location, an inverse relationship has been detected between audit fees and each of audit risk and seasonality, the findings also revealed that audit fees are not significantly influenced by KAP switching.

Abstract

Murabahah is 99.80% of the contracts used in financing distribution in Kanindo Sharia. This study aims to determine the problems faced by kanindo sharia in the implementation of the murabahah contract. This study uses phenomenology to answer the research objectives. Understanding of AO, guarantees, understanding of members, and accuracy of contracts used are four problems found in financing activities. The solutions used to solve these problems are training employees, rescheduling installments and withdrawing collateral, socializing and intensive approaches to members, as well as reviewing financing agreements. Accounting practices carried out by Kanindo Syariah are not in accordance with PSAK 102. Accounting recognition in accordance with PSAK 102 is only found in murabahah asset acquisition transactions.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to determine the effect of executive board gender diversity on firm value. Gender diversity shows that companies do not discriminate while evaluating employee performance. This diversity affects the fair competition conducted by employees to show the best performance so they can occupy the highest positions in the company. Gender diversity has the impact of a difference in the level of optimism, confidence, and risk preferences. The feminine nature of women influences the quality of investment decision making, which has an impact on increasing company value. The signalling theory is used to describe the stakeholders perceived on investment decision making by female CEOs. Research using PLS in LQ45 registered companies in Indonesian Stock Exchange for the years 2014-2017. The results showed that investment decisions affect the value of the firm. Besides, the composition of the female CEO can moderate the relationship between investment decisions and firm value. The results of the research have implications for the support of increasing gender diversity in companies because the patriarchal culture adopted in Indonesia causes male domination in decision making both in the family, community or the working environment.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Purpose - The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership, organizational climate and employee motivation on the performance of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII (PTPN VII) Betung.Design/methodology - Primary data is needed as the basis of analysis, while the data collection technique is a questionnaire. The analytical technique used is multiple linear regression. Simultaneous hypothesis test (F) and partial (t).Findings - The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that there is a positive influence of leadership, organizational climate and work motivation and significant effect on the performance of PTPN VII Betung. The results of partial analysis show that there is a positive influence of leadership, organizational climate and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on the performance of PTPN VII Betung.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Purpose - This study aims to determine and analyze the understanding of Palembang Muhammadiyah University students towards the Muhammadiyah Association.Design/methodology - This research is a quantitative study, collecting data using a questionnaire. Before the questionnaire was distributed previously carried out trials using validity and reliability. The number of respondents in this study were 234 students. Data analysis using descriptive t test analysis through the help of the SPSS application. Findings - Based on the results of this study, it can be said that in general students of the University of Muhammadiyah Palembang understand about the requirements of Muhammadiyah.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Purpose - The problem of this study was whether or not the influence of  Compensation and Work Discipline on Employees’ Performance at PT Vita Mandiri Jaya (Dunkin 'Donuts) of Palembang.Design/methodology - Objective os study was for investigating the influence of Compensation and Work Discipline on Employees’ Performance at PT Vita Mandiri Jaya (Dunkin 'Donuts) of Palembang. These variables of the study were  compensation, work Discipline and Employees’ Performance. In this study, samples taken by 43 respondents. Sample method used saturated sampling method. Data used in this study are primary data. Data collection techniques used  questionnaires. Analysis of the data used is the qualitative and quantitative analysis with multiple linear regression analysis.Findings – The results showed that there was an effect simultaneously Compensation (X1) and Discipline Work (X2) on Employees’ Performance (Y) for Fobtained (5.233)> F table (4.08). it meant H0 was rejected and Ha accepted. There was partially the influence of Compensation (X1) on Employees’ Performance (Y) for tobtained (2.977) X1> t table (1.682) it meant  H0 rejected and Ha accepted, did not influence beetwen Work  Discipline (X2) on  Employees’ performance (Y) for tobtained (0.377) <t table (1.682) meaning H0 was accepted and was Ha rejected.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis karakter kerja keras terhadap mata pelajaran fisika di lingkungan sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Kota Jambi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode peniltian analisis kuantitatif. Metode ini termasuk metode statistika deskriptif. Metode statistika deskriptif adalah metode bagian statistika mengenai pengumpulan data, penyajian, penentuan nilai-nilai statistika, pembuatan diagram atau gambar mengenai sesuatu hal, disini data yang disajikan dalam bentuk yang lebih mudah dipahami atau dibaca. . Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer. Data primer adalah data asli yang dikumpulkan sendiri oleh peneliti untuk menjawab masalah yang sedang di teliti. Subjek dari penelitian adalah siswa SMA Negeri 1 Kota Jambi, kelas XI MIPA 4 berjumlah 20 orang, kelas XI MIPA 5 berjumlah 20 orang dan kelas XI MIPA 6 berjumlah 20 orang. Dimana hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa  dari semua pernyataan yang telah diberikan SMA Negeri 1 Kota Jambi telah berhasil menerapkan nilai-nilai karakter kerja keras dalam pembelajaran FisikaThe  purpose  of  this  study  was  to  analyze  the  character  of hard work on physics subjects in SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City. The method used  in  this  research  is  quantitative  analysis  research  method.  This method is a descriptive statistical method. Descriptive statistical method is  a  method  of  the  statistics  section  regarding  data  collection, presentation,  determining  statistical  values,  making  diagrams  or pictures of something, here the data is presented in a form that is easier to  understand or  read.  .  The data  used  in  this  study  are  primary  data. Primary  data  is  the  original  data  that  the  researcher  has  collected himself  to  answer  the  problem  being  studied.  The  subjects  of  the  study were students of SMA Negeri 1 Kota Jambi, class XI MIPA 4 totaling 20 people,  class  XI  MIPA  5  totaling  20  people  and  class  XI  MIPA  6 totaling  20  people.  Where  the  results  of  this  study  state  that  of  all  the statements that have been given by SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City, they have succeeded  in  applying  the  values  of  hard  work  character  in  learning physics.

Abstract

Purpose –The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of work environment and work discipline on employee performance of PT. Anugrah Argon Medica Palembang.  Design/methodology –This type of research in this study was associative. The population in this study was the number of PT.Anugrah Argon Medica Palembang, amounting to 120 employees and sample staken as many as 54 respondents with the sampling technique Proportionate Sampling. The analytical method used qualitative quantitative. The data analysis technique in this research was multiple linear regression, F test, t test, coefficient of determination .Findings - The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that there was a positive effect on environmental variables and work discipline on employee performance of PT.Anugrah Argon Medica Palembang. The results of F hypothesis test together showed that there was a significant effect of work environment and work discipline on employee performance.The resultsoft hypothesis test individually showed that there was a significant effect of work environment on employee performance.The results of hypothesis test also showed that there was a significant effect of work discipline on empl oyee performance. The results of the coefficient of determination on work environment and work discipline were only able to contribute to changes that occurred in employee performance by 44.3%.

Abstract

Today social problems come back in the main spotlight in this country, especially during the pandemic hasn’t a meeting point. Since pandemic Covid-19, it has officially entered the motherland. Social problems are increasing, especially in economic problems. This leads to reduced welfare of people's lives and creates social inequalities, especially in smaller domains such as resilience. The results of this study revealed that there are three points conceptualized by Ajengan Romzi in fulfilling neighborly matters. First, there are consequences that are obtained when treating neighbors badly. Second, treating neighbors well will also reduce social problems among neighbors and can also eliminate gaps that occur. Third, a good form of interaction with neighbors, as well as how to deal with neighbors who treat us badly, should not only be applied not only with neighbors who are fellow Muslims but also neighbors who are non-Muslims.
