Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan munculnya konsep pertunjukan konser musik secara virtual sebagai alternatif penyajian karya seni musik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses produksi audio hasil rekam karya pada Konser Virtual "Colorchestra" Batavia Chamber Orchestra menggunakan software Digital Audio Workstation Logic Pro. Selain itu, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan pendidik dan peserta didik (mahasiswa) mengenai penciptaan karya mengunakan software DAW sebagai kecakapan digital literasi pendidikan musik abad-21. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan eksploratif studi dokumentasi. Pada konser virtual "Colorchestra", audio dan video sudah diproduksi sebelum penayangannya. Tahapan produksi audio yang dilakukan diantaranya proses rekam audio, editing audio, mixing dan mastering yang dilakukan pada DAW Logic Pro. Proses rekam audio dilakukan pemain secara satu-persatu, kemudian digabungkan dan diedit pada DAW. Pada proses mixing dan mastering, audio digarap sesuai dengan interpretasi conductor terhadap karya melalui pengolahan estetis frekuensi, dinamika dan panorama menggunakan DAW dari masing-masing track instrumen. Hasil akhir audio selanjutnya digabungkan dengan produksi video untuk kemudian ditayangkan menjadi konser virtual "Colorchestra" Batavia Chamber Orchestra.Kata Kunci: Penciptaan Karya Musik, Konser Virtual, Digital Audio Workstation. AbstractThe Covid-19 Pandemic leads to virtual music concerts as an alternative for music performance. This study aims to understand the audio production process in Virtual Concert "Colourchestra" Batavia Chamber Orchestra using software Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) Logic Pro. This study will give more knowledge about producing music using DAW software as digital skills literacy in 21st-century music education. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with an explorative approach and documentation study. For the virtual concert "Colourchestra", audio and video were pre-recorded before the premiere broadcast. The audio production process consists of recording, editing, mixing, and mastering using DAW Logic Pro. The audio recording session was done one by one before it was combined and edited. The mixing and Mastering process was done by the BCO conductor based on his interpretation of the song through the settings of frequency esthetic, dynamics, and panorama using DAW from each instrument track. The final audio was then combined with the video that was taken and edited separately. Then it is played in the premiere broadcast of Virtual "Colourchestra" Batavia Chamber Orchestra. Keywords: Music Production, Virtual Concert, Digital Audio Workstation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of implementing Digital Audio Workstation learning media software in the Music Technology course in the Study Program of Music Education Music UNJ. In addition, this research is expected to broaden the insight of educators and students (students) about DAW software as a digital literacy of 21st century music education. This research method uses qualitative methods with a participatory action research approach. This study utilizes open interviews to examine and understand the attitudes, views, feelings and behavior of individuals and study groups. Assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of applying DAW software in the production of music. The results showed that music technology courses were arranged to have an important role in integrating technology in education. In addition, the use of technology in learning activities is carried out in an effort to improve the quality of education. Technology is able to provide broad, fast, effective, and efficient access to the dissemination of information to various parts of the world.

Abstract

The ongoing pandemic conditions until now, causing the learning process to be done online. Online learning seems boring because the online learning methods and media that are applied are less creative and varied. Teachers' incompetence in using technology is one of the causes of boring learning, so schools and teachers are trying to find the right method or media to make learning more interesting. The purpose of this study is to describe the TikTok application as music learning media from SMAN 1 Muara Enim, South of Sumatra. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative research method. This research was conducted in Perumahan Bumi Eraska Blok E7 no 12. The researcher got the data from observation of the learning outcomes of students and teacher of SMAN 1 Muara Enim South Sumatra, through Youtube and the TikTok application. The time of this research was conducted from March to June. Data collected were the result of interviews, literature, observation, and documentation. The result of this research indicates that the TikTok application can be used as a music learning medium. In utilizing the TikTok application there  must be appropriate steps and methods to achieve learning objectives. there are positive effects in the use of the TikTok application at SMAN 1 Muara Enim, namely can make students get more confidence in the music subject, familiarizing students with the use of technology 4.0 especially in the music subject, increasing student interaction during distance learning, making it easier for teachers and students with its features to make music learning videos, make students more interactive, and as a promotional tool for the school.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the use of Smart Apps Creator (SAC) as a device that can create interactive learning media applications to be used as an alternative online learning media at SMA Negeri 9 Jakarta. The research method used to collect research data is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, including observation, documentation, interviews and literature studies. The research results obtained are Smart Apps Creator (SAC) can create interactive learning media applications for students. The application makes it easier for students in the learning process, especially in music material. The material in the application can be accessed offline, designed with a game pattern model to make the student learning process comfortable and Happy.

Abstract

This research study the process of composing POMNAS XVI theme song "Raih Prestasi" using Digital Audio Workstation Application `Cubasis`. It is meant to improve knowledge about composing song process and the ability of using software/DAW application as one of digital literacy in 21th Century music education. This research using qualitative method and explorative approach, describing the process of composing the music using DAW Application `Cubasis` and measure the effectiveness and efficiency in using Cubasis to compose music. The results of this study shows that in recent years some of the application developer start to optimize iPad to be used as a portable recording gear. "Raih Prestasi" POMNAS XVI Theme Song composed using DAW `Cubasis` on iPad and in relatively short time (8 days), the whole composing process of this song could be done with good quality. This result can inspire content creator and home recording user to switch to mobile/portable recording technology.
