Abstract

The purpose of the research is to identify the cause of the bullwhip effect and find solutions to overcome them. The object of research is demand and sales period of the year 2013 to 2014 on Alfian PT Jaya is. The phenomenon of the occurrence of changes in customer demand is relatively stable end of each day will be the order weekly or bi-weekly from retail company distribution center will receive orders more stable than demand faced by retail companies. Demand sole distributor will also stable, have an impact on the cost incurred by the company in storage. One way to analyze some of the causes of the bullwhip effect on the company is to analyze the factors that cause. Bullwhip value needs to be measured to determine the bullwhip effect can be done with the data aggregation method of Fransoo and Wouters.

Abstract

Sebagai sektor yang telah mature, perbankan telah membuat banyak perubahan dramatis dalam mengurangi berbagai risiko manajemen dekade terakhir. Namun tetap saja perbankan masih rentan, seperti terhadap risiko saham. Faktor penentu risiko saham perbankan sangat bervariasi sehingga diperlukan adanya pengembangan penelitian. Menggunakan data komprehensif yang mencakup 25 bank go public di Indonesia selama periode 2009-2013, penelitian ini menyelidiki dampak faktor internal dan kepemilikan asing terhadap risiko saham perbankan. Dengan menggunakan metode pengujian regresi linear berganda, penelitian ini menemukan bukti kuat bahwa faktor internal seperti non-interest income, total asset, non-performing loan, dan diversifikasi pendapatan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap risiko saham perbankan. Namun untuk faktor internal lain, yaitu short-term loan dan portofolio kredit meskipun berpengaruh negatif, tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap risiko saham perbankan di Indonesia. foreign ownership, sebagai faktor non internal, juga tidak terdukung didalam hubungannya dengan risiko saham.

Abstract

Introduction: Since the outbreak of Corona Disease-19 (COVID-19) spreads all over the world, various ways of health attempts have been conducted. However, overflowed information intertwines with mis/disinformation could raise public anxiety and stigma-related diseases. We aimed to assess the help of the young generation of millennials and Gen-Z whom are active college students in debunking hoaxes and myths of COVID-19 into their community.Method: The selected students were given a short course on COVID-19 basic information, prevention, and circulated myths. Later, they become ambassadors and actively educated via offline and online platforms. The impact of outspread information on audiences was investigated through a qualitative survey.Result: The knowledge of students were measured by pre- and post-test within the short course. Prior knowledge showed the least understanding part was prevention and myth of COVID-19. There was a significant improvement of knowledge in post-test after receiving seminar (p=0.0002). There were 97 respondents who filled the online survey that predominantly in young adulthood age. Respondent's insight was enhanced and they likely intend to spread the actual information to their surroundings.Conclusion: Appointing student as the spokesperson for health education can raise their social responsibility. Clarifying misinformation and health behaviour could be more influential within the same sharing community. In addition, the use of various online platforms could efficiently reach massive target, especially young ages.

Abstract

Abstractthe whole world has been made aware of the importance of sustaining human life on this earth. The economic improvement felt in the last decade is the result of increasing industrialization around the world. This has a fairly serious impact in terms of natural damage and social life. Fundamental changes are urgently needed to break the chain of socio-environmental damage that threatens the survival of future generations. These fundamental changes can be started from changes in the concept of education. Education is still considered the key to development both in terms of human resources and innovation. Applied education can be a door in the teaching of new abilities and skills based on the SDGs. This study aims to describe the role of applied or vocational education in achieving SGDs. The Faculty of Vocational Studies at Universitas Airlangga can be an example of how applied higher education institutions have the potential to achieve the SDGs goals. Based on the results of our study, it appears that the role of applied educational institutions has the potential to achieve the SDGs targets. The results of this study have a significant impact on future policy directions and institutional development. Keywords: SDGs, higher education institution, sustainable development, thematic analysis.

Abstract

This research assessed OJT Digitalization Systems' effectiveness in improving the OJT process's efficiency at PT PAL Indonesia. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, involving interviews with HR staff, trainers, and participants, alongside process observation. Content analysis was conducted to analyze the collected data. The findings demonstrated that the OJT Digitalization Systems effectively enhanced the efficiency of the OJT process at PT PAL Indonesia. These systems reduced time and cost, improving accessibility and user-friendliness for stakeholders. Furthermore, they enhanced data accuracy during OJT. This research contributes to the existing literature on digitalization in HR practices by providing evidence of the efficiency-boosting potential of OJT Digitalization Systems. It emphasizes the importance of considering stakeholder requirements in digitalization projects. Managers should consider implementing these systems to enhance OJT efficiency and data accuracy, aiding decision-making in HR practices. Policymakers should encourage digitalization adoption in HR to improve workforce development programs. In summary, this research highlights the positive impact of OJT Digitalization Systems on the OJT process, advocating for their implementation to enhance HR practices.

Abstract

This study emphasizes the crucial role of cybersecurity and public relations in the successful adoption of technology. To protect customer data and manage risks, organizations need robust cybersecurity measures. At the same time, building trust and differentiation through transparent communication and addressing customer concerns is vital. Recommendations include enhancing cybersecurity, training employees, prioritizing data privacy, maintaining ongoing public relations efforts, and collaborating with industry peers. By implementing these recommendations, organizations can navigate technology challenges, safeguard data, and cultivate a positive reputation.
