Abstract

RESUME: Pendidikan dan pembelajaran sastra di sekolah, sebagai bagian tak terpisahkan dari gerak pembangunan manusia Indonesia, memiliki peran strategis. Sifat pembelajaran sastra yang menekankan pada sisi humanistik, dipandang tepat untuk dijadikan wahana bagi usaha pengaktualisasian nilai-nilai kearifan lokal. Dengan melakukan adaptasi-adaptasi, nilai kearifan lokal menjadi bersesuaian dengan konteks kekinian. Pembelajaran sastra di sekolah, dengan demikian, harus dimaksimalkan untuk membekali siswa agar dapat mengembangkan aspek nilai intelektual, moral, dan sosial. Salah satu upaya inovatif yang dapat dilakukan adalah menekankan aspek karakter melalui eksplorasi nilai kearifan lokal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperoleh formulasi rancangan konsep dasar (filosofis) model adaptasi nilai kearifan lokal dalam pengembangan pembelajaran sastra. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa adaptasi dilakukan dengan penggunaan kearifan lokal sebagai sumber dan media pembelajaran; serta membuat komponen bangunan sastra karya kreatif dengan siswa. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran didasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran yang: kreatif, inovatif, koperasi, demokratis, dan kontekstual; bergantung pada nilai kearifan lokal yang memiliki fleksibilitas makna kontekstual; serta prosedur pembelajaran dengan tahapan orientasi, eksplorasi, penciptaan dan aktualisasi, presentasi, dan evaluasi.KATA KUNCI: Adaptasi Nilai; Kearifan Lokal; Inovasi Pembelajaran Sastra; Konsep Dasar; Karakter Siswa. ABSTRACT: “Adaptation Model of the Local Wisdom Value in Characterized Literature Learning”. Education and learning literature in schools, as an integral part of the human development movement of Indonesia, has a strategic role. The nature of literature learning that emphasizes the humanistic side, it is considered appropriate if then used as a vehicle for business actualizing the values of local wisdom. By adaptations, the value of local wisdom to be in accordance with the contemporary context. However, learning literature in schools should be maximized to equip students to be able to develop aspects of intellectual, moral, and social values. One of the innovative efforts that can be taken is to emphasize this aspect of the character through the exploration of the value of local wisdom. The purpose of this study was to obtain basic concept design formulation (philosophical) model of adaptation values of local wisdom in the development of literature learning. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach. Based on data analysis, it was concluded that the adaptation is done by the use of local wisdom as a resource and learning media; and making the building component of literature of creative works by students. Learning implementation based on the principles of learning: creative, innovative, cooperative, democratic, contextual; rely on the value of local wisdom that has flexibility contextual meaning; and the learning procedure with phases orientation, exploration, creation and actualization, presentation, and evaluation.KEY WORD: Value Adaptation; Local Wisdom; Literature Learning Innovation; Basic Concept; Students’ Character.    About the Authors: Dr. Hari Sunaryo adalah Dosen pada Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP (Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan) Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, Jawa Timur, Indonesia. Abstract

ABSTRAKKurikulum 2013 menempatkan bahasa Indonesia sebagai penghela ilmu pengetahuan (Nuh, 2013:37). Peran bahasa Indonesia ini bukan sebuah kebetulan karena ini pun sudah dikibarkan pada waktu Kongres Bahasa Indonesia ke XIV di Jakarta. Penguatan bahasa Indonesia sebagai penghela Ilmu pengetahuan menunjukkan betapa pentingnya bahasa Indonesia dalam kedudukan dan perannya sebagai bahasa nasional untuk seluruh etnis yang ada di Indonesia.Pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di sekolah yang berbasis teks, proses berpikir yang sistematis dan terkontrol melalui kegiatan pengumpulan data, analisis, dan penyajian hasil analisis sangatlah penting dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa serta memunculkan proses kegiatan belajar mengajar yang lebih menekankan pada kegiatan siswa, kegiatan pembelajaran akan berjalan efektif apabila didahului dengan penyiapan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) yang dikembangkan oleh guru baik secara individual maupun kelompok yang mengacu pada silabus.  Kata kunci : Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, pendekatan saintifik, berbasis teks

Abstract

 Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan upaya pembelajaran menulis naskah drama sebagai kreativitas bersastra siswa SMA di Malang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan belajar menulis naskah drama yang dialami siswa terletak pada penentuan tema dan topik yang akan dibahas. Kedua, pembelajaran menulis yang terjadi di sekolah-sekolah yang menjadi subjek penelitian, kurang sekali memberikan informasi tentang perkembangan dunia kesasteraan, keterbatasan guru akan materi sastra juga menjadi kendala tidak menariknya kegiatan belajar menulis naskah drama.Kata kunci: menulis, naskah drama, strategi menulis terbimbing (SMT)Abstract: This study describes the learning of playwriting through guided writing strategy as an effort of improving senior high school students’ literary creativity in Malang. This study is qualitative descriptive. The data were collected from observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed: (1) the learning difficulties experienced by the students lay in the determination of themes and topics to be discussed; (2) the learning of playwriting in the sample schools lacked of providing information about the development of the literary filed; (3) the teacher’s insufficient mastery literary material made the learning of playwriting uninteresting; and (4) the application of Guided-Composition Strategy facilitated the students in playwriting.Keywords: writing, playwright, guided-writing strategy (SMT)

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

This novel is one form of communication between nations conducted by the author with her readers. The storytelling technique used by NH Dini is narrative that invites the reader to indirectly see and be involved in describing the story. As an author, NH Dini is so straightforward in telling the story which is played by the main character who does not forget the background of Javanese culture and love the second homeland France. From Fontenay to Magalliances is an expression of the author about how should a woman who grew up in a cultural environment of Java can still coexist with the people around her without losing her identity as a foreigner in the second homeland. Communication that occurs between the characters is a form of communication between nations that is no longer so accentuate each other's culture and remaining respectful. In this case, the main character can still be a wife to her French husband without having to change her appearance and lifestyle, although the internal communication between them is no longer in harmony, but as Javanese woman, Dini still keeps their relationship in front of their relatives. Abstract

Character education is considered to be important since character is functioned as the power of mental and ethics which encourage the nation to realize the national idea and to show the comparative, competitive, and dynamic excellences among other nations. However, the current implementation of character education is not considered to be successful yet. In addition, character education has been widely implemented in schools so far. The research finding about character education in school shows that the implementations of character education in schools are still mainly based on the school condition and tend to be as what it is (without a good planning). Besides, schools also do not have the character education implementation guideline which is based on school condition and the development of students’ psychology. There are some obstacles of the character education implementation in school, which are human resources, facilities, and lack of support from the family and society. The implementation of character education in elementary school has not involved many parties yet and the evaluation is not done continuously. Since the importance of character education implementation to students, especially for elementary school students, it needs model reconstruction which is appropriate and applicable to elementary school students. Role play is one of the activities in elementary school curriculum which is possibly used as a media to transfer the character value. Besides the fact that role play has not widely introduced yet, it is such a pleasing activity. Role play here is role play which has a concept in the model of theater empowerment. Through this theater empowerment, students will have the experience to involve in the society. Besides, students’ characters can also be forged during the practice session of theater. Therefore, character education model based on theater empowerment can be an alternative of character education in elementary school.   Keywords: Character Education, Theater Empowerment, Elementary School Students

Abstract

The results of the PISA and TIMSS studies show that student literacy in Indonesia is still low. Low literacy is caused by many factors, one of which is the learning process. The learning process in class must be really designed in the form of literacy learning. The government in overcoming this issue launched the School Literacy Movement (GLS) and Character Education Strengthening (PPK). GLS has three stages, namely habituation, development, and learning. PPK aims to develop student character where there are 5 main values of character, namely religious, nationalist, independent, mutual cooperation, and integrity. Based on this, it is necessary to integrate literacy learning in GLS and PPK. The purpose of the study was to know the implementation of literacy learning in GLS and PPK. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach through FGD to Principals, Middle School Science Teachers, and Malang City Middle School MGMP administrators. Quality descriptive data analysis using the Milles and Huberman models. The results showed that the use of strategies and approaches to teaching and learning is still not effective in developing literacy, literacy has not been optimal in developing thinking skills, difficulties in integrating PPK, school literacy ecosystems have not fully developed a school literacy culture, the need for increased collaboration in the GLS program

Abstract

Concept understanding and product creativity of Ma'arif class VII A junior high school students are less than optimal. This problem is because learning activities do not invite students to increase literacy. Based on this, it is necessary to innovate learning. The purpose of this research is to apply Li-Pro-GP learning (Project-Based Science Literacy in the integrated scientific literacy movement strengthening character education) to improve conceptual understanding and creativity of learning poster products. The type of research used is quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental) using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research population is seventh-grade junior high school students. While sampling using purposive sampling. The research sample is all Ma'arif junior high school students in class VII A. Data collection techniques use tests and documentation with research instruments, namely written test questions in the form of essays used to pretest and posttest. The measurement of the creativity of the learning poster product uses the product creativity rubric. Data analysis using paired t-test with the help of data processing applications IBM SPSS 26 and Ms.Excel. The results showed that: 1) there was an effect of using the Li-Pro-GP learning model on the ability to understand concepts; 2) there is an effect of using the Li-Pro-GP learning model on the creativity of the learning poster product.
