Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran VAK (Visual, Auditory, Kinestetik) terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa STAIS Tebingtinggi dalam menulis karya ilmiah. Dari keseluruhan populasi di perguruan tinggi ini ditetapkan 32mahasiswa yang dipilih secara acak. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan menulis karya ilmiah.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pre-test post-test design. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menulis karya ilmiahsebelum menggunakan model VAK (Visual, Auditory, Kinestetik) yang dapat meningkatan kemampuan menyusun karya ilmiahmenunjukkan hasil dengan nilai tertinggi 86 dan nilai terendah 60 yang diperoleh dari 32 mahasiswa, yang memiliki nilai rata-rata 74,41 dan berada pada kategori cukup. Kemampuan menulis karya ilmiah sesudah menggunakanmodel VAK (Visual, Auditory, Kinestetik) menunjukkan hasil dengan nilai tertinggi 94 dan nilai terendah 68 dari 32 mahasiswa, yang memiliki nilai rata-rata 82,56 dan berada pada kategori baik. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran VAK (Visual, Auditory, Kinestetik) terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa STAIS Tebingtinggi dalam menulis karya ilmiah.

Abstract

Salah satu bentuk desain dan implementasi kurikulum di perguruan tinggi adalah Kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi (KBK). KBK memberi penekanan yang besar pada penguasaan kompetensi (skill) atau aspek psikomotorik dibanding aspek pengetahuan (kognitif). Namun dalam kenyataannya, penerapan KBK menghadapi berbagai kendala, baik dari sisi kemampuan tenaga pengajar dalam memenuhi tuntutan pelaksanaan KBK, sarana pendukung perkuliahan maupun kualitas input mahasiswa baru di setiap program studi (prodi). Kendala-kendala ini, khususnya program studi bidang informatika/komputer yang ada di perguruan tinggi swasta di Kota Jayapura merupakan permasalahan utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa tingkat keberhasilan pelaksanaan KBK di 5 (lima) perguruan tinggi swasta yang mengelolah prodi bidang informatika/komputer, dengan jumlah 10 (sepuluh) program studi. Penelitian dimulai dengan penyusunan instrument penelitian berupa formulir kuisioner. Kuisioner disebarkan kepada 520 sampel/responden. Jumlah sampel pada masing-masing prodi ditentukan menggunakan Metode Slovin dengan error tolerance (e) = 5%. Hasil quisioner dari setiap responden tiap prodi akan di-cluster untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman, keberhasilan dan kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam mengimplementasikan KBK. Kluster akan dilakukan menggunakan Algoritma K-Means. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pusat kluster masing-masing program studi.

Abstract

Indonesia is the largest natural resource producing country in the world, the management of these natural resources requires assistance from various industries. In addition to providing an increase in the regional economy, industry can also cause an increase in waste which can cause environmental damage. Waste that is directly discharged into a water will cause a decrease in water quality, especially for palm oil liquid waste that has not met the specified wastewater quality standards. Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) is one of the most important parameters in measuring water quality or water contamination load derived from dissolved oxygen in water or waste. Therefore, on this occasion, COD testing will be carried out to determine the level of dissolved oxygen in palm oil liquid waste. From the implementation of the calibration curve of COD testing in wastewater, it was declared accepted because the value of the test correlation coefficient was greater, namely r = 0.9994 than the value of the correlation coefficient set by SNI, namely r = 0.995. While precision data can be accepted if the value of % RPD is not greater than 10% of the test results.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the development of student character in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Khoiriyyah 2 Semarang and how character building through dhuha prayer routine together. The type and approach of research using descriptive qualitative. Data sources were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the strengthening of student character developed from the habituation of dhuha prayer together is Religious, nasinal, Integrity, independent, and mutual cooperation.

Abstract

The habit of performing Dhuha prayer is one of the efforts to instill discipline in students. Dhuha prayer is a voluntary act of worship performed in the morning after sunrise. Through this habit, students are taught to commit time to worship, instilling values of patience and discipline in carrying out daily routines. By repeatedly performing Dhuha prayer, students will learn to manage their time well, which can influence their discipline in daily activities, including attendance and punctuality at school. Additionally, consistent religious practices foster spiritual awareness, improve morals, and help students steer away from undesirable behaviors. However, it's essential to remember that forming discipline in students depends not only on the habit of Dhuha prayer but also requires consistent support and guidance from teachers, parents, and the entire environment.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of children's lack of ability to read the Qur'an in this age of technological development. Based on these problems, we were moved to conduct research at MI Al-Khoiriyah 2 Semarang where this Madrasah featured a program namely Tahsin al-Qur'an. The purpose of this research is first, to find out how the application of tahsin program to improve the ability to read the Qur'an class 1 MI Al-Khoiriyah 2 Semarang. Second, to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of the implementation of the tahsin al-Qur'an program at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Third, to find out how the influence of tahsin program to improve the ability to read al-Qur'an of grade 1 students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This type of research is qualitative research with observation and interview methods. The data source of this research is the interview result from the companion teacher of tahsin program of grade 1 of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Khoiriyyah 2 Semarang. The results of this study indicate that the application of the tahsin program at MI Al-Khoiriyah 2 Semarang has a significant influence on improving children's ability to read the Qur'an from an early age. In the learning process the teacher uses the reading and listening method. The teacher also models the correct reading and justifies the wrong reading to the students.
