Abstract

Hasil observasi yang telah dilakukan di SMP Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang, menunjukkan bahwa minat peserta didik rendah pada materi biologi. Banyaknya penggunaan bahasa latin atau ilmiah menyebabkan perlunya pemahaman yang tinggi untuk matapelajaran tersebut. Penggunaan model dan metode pembelajaran yang kurang menarik serta kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran membuat peserta didik merasa bosan dan kurang aktif saat proses belajar berlangsung. Menanggapi permasalahan tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk menanggulangi berbagai permasalahan tersebut di atas. Metode Mind Mapping dan Model Student facilitator and Explaining yang dikolaborasikan dalam suatu pembelajaran diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi bagi permasalahan pembelajaran di SMP Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus dan terdiri atas 2 pertemuan setiap siklusnya. Satu siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VIII A SMP Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang tahun ajaran 2015/2016 pada materi sistem respirasi. Hasil Penelitian dengan penerapan metode Mind Mapping dan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) menunjukan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar biologi peserta didik. Hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik diukur melalui persentase (%) ketuntasan belajar peserta didik dan persentase (%) ketuntasan belajar klasikal. Persentase ketuntasan belajar peserta didik siklus I ke siklus II secara berturut-turut sebesar 76,92% dan 96,15%. Persentase belajar klasikal siklus I dan II berturut-turut sebesar 76,15 % dan 86,73%. Hasil belajar afektif peserta didik diukur dari rata-rata mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II secara berturut-turut sebesar 75,77 dan 79,80. Hasil belajar psikomotorik peserta didik yang diukur dari rata-rata nilai mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 77,01 dan 80.

Abstract

This study uses research and development (Research and Development / R & D) method. Model development of instructional media used is aDevelopment model consisting of ten steps, but in this study only compriseseight steps, namely: potential and problems, information gathering, productdesign, design validation, the revised design, product testing, product revision,and the final product.  Based on the results of the validation interactive module Genetics by matter experts and media experts shows that genetics interactive module is feasible used with a percentage of the average score of 90%. Based on theresults of the validation interactive CD genetics by material experts showedthat the decent used by a score of 96% while the results validator of mediaexperts with regard to the feasibility of an interactive CD genetics show thatdecent used is by a score of 88% and an average rate of eligibility InteractiveCD showed that the decent genetics used is 92%, this indicates that theinteractive CD genetics can be applied in small scale to see the effectiveness ofthe implementation of this genetic interactive CD.  Based on the results of a small-scale trial Genetics interactive module effectively used by students seen from the kognitive learning outcomes reached 85.3% and students' understanding of concepts of 87.2%.Based on the research results, it can be concluded that genetics developed interactive module gets adequate assessment of experts, as well as the effective use of learning by students of class XII, SMA Islam Batu with kognitive learning outcomesreached 85.3% and students' understanding of concepts of 87.2%.

Abstract

Specific targets in this program will be used for the public discourse on the utilization of rice straw processed into organic compost, so it may be a breakthrough in order to improve the quality of the soil and also to cost savings for farmers in order to improve the welfare of farmers' lives. Activities in this program saw puti: preparation with the socialization program for data collection and observation of farmers, dissemination and delivery of organic compost machine, machine trials, application of machines in the field and practice of organic composting of rice straw, monitoring / supervision as follow continued sustainability of the program . Results obtained from this service program is kumbangsari formation of farmer groups , technology transfer in the form of organic compost machine, farmer groups Increased understanding of the technology and paradigms of organic farming and organic compost and the end result of this activity is Organic Compost.

Abstract

Science Program for Wiayah (IbW) is intended to empower the community to form Kademangan Sub-district in Probolinggo City which is more advanced, more prosperous and more faithful. This objective will be achieved by empowering communities through the development of science and technology based areas with a planned approach, in which communities are involved in the planning, implementation, evaluation and utilization of results. In particular the IbW Program is: (1) To identify potential, realistic, realistic, real, and realistic human resources, condition, and resources in Kademangan sub-district, Probolinggo Municipality; (2) To formulate the potential of human resources and natural resources so that it can be used as a commodity of superior territory; (3) Conducting training activities in the framework of technology transfer produced by Higher Education to the community. The methods used in this Program are survey, and observation. Preparation of action programs conducted through workshop activities. The results of the IbW program are: (1) The socialization of IbW Program with the Local Government of Probolinggo Municipality and the Pohsangit Kidul and Pilang Village Farmer Groups; (2) Counseling on the Benefits and Use of Pesticide Neighbors; (3) Training and practice of Mimba Leaf Processing Becoming Plant Pesticide. The conclusion of the IbW program is that it is very potential to develop bio-pesticide biological agents from neem. To cultivate vegetable pesticides especially from neem by farmers still needed the process and time because farmers are still familiar with chemical pesticides.

Abstract

Saptorenggo Village is declared as a Covid-19 red zone. However, the villagers, especially the residents of Perum Amerta Residence continue to engage in outdoor activities even some of them still work out of town. This behavior is a source of major problem in the distribution of Covid-19 at the Amerta Residence housing estate. A mutual agreement between the service team and the head of RT 08 and residents of the Amerta Residence housing estate to overcome the problem is needed so that the socialization and assistance in preventing the spread of Covid-19 can be performed. This type of activity is community service at the Amerta Residence RT 08 housing estate from March to June 2020. The procedure for community service activities consists of four stages including socialization through deliberations, the formation of the Perum Tanggap Covid (PTC) team, periodic disinfectant spraying assistance, and evaluation of community service activities. The results of this community service show that the community service team has succeeded in carrying out community service activities base on the planned targets. In addition, residents of Amerta Residence housing estate can follow all the service activities that have been designed by the service team

Abstract

This assessment is carried out to evaluate the learning process by emphasizing aspects of the integrated curriculum developed at the Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School. This process, which at every stage of its history has always undergone changes and dynamic cycles, must receive serious attention. The issue of curriculum since the implementation of the merger between the boarding school curriculum and the general school curriculum to this day is still a long debate, especially how the pesantren curriculum, which was originally oriented to ansih Islamic boarding school, must accommodate the general curriculum which is actually far from the experience expected by previous pesantren. This assessment is carried out with a grounded approach by conducting sufficient interviews, distributing questionnaires, and tracking school or boarding documents and followed by focus group discussions (FGD). At the implementation level, the curriculum merger effort at the Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School in Malang City is still limited to improving the school or class schedule, which means that on the improvement side at the level of material or certain fields of study, it is still in the process of improving and discussing discussions by coordinating continuously and thoroughly. In addition, at this stage the supporting laboratories are almost 70 percent completed to adjust to global needs which will be used and utilized by students in the future. The fields of agriculture, animal husbandry, and student entrepreneurship, and small industrial industries, in the future will become laboratories, not only for the sake of an integrated curriculum but also in general the vision of this pesantren, including strengthening the capacity of relevant learning media, but also upgrading Islamic boarding school human resources, so that they are able to synergize with digital speed which is the key in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, currently the Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School is preparing

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) the variation of the local buffalo phenotype in East Java from the Banyuwangi and Blitar regions; and 2) genotypes of local buffalo-based genotypes in East Java from the Banyuwangi and Blitar regions. Observation of genetic variation patterns was carried out starting from the stages of DNA isolation followed by electrophoresis using agarose gel after PCR was carried out and followed by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. From this gel electrophoresis, a band was obtained which was then analyzed using Genepop ver. 3.1d. The results of the analysis show that the genetic variation of Blitar buffalo population is higher when compared to the Banyuwangi buffalo population. This can be seen from the average value of allele polymorphic information in the Blitar buffalo population of 55% while the average value of polymorphic information in the Banyuwangi buffalo population is 47%. The allele frequency values of the three microsatellite loci of Blitar buffalo population ranged from 0.06 to 0.65, while the allele frequency values of the three microsatellite loci of the Banyuwangi buffalo population ranged from 0.07 to 0.63, after the allele frequency values were known, the analysis continued with determination heterozygosity value. The average value of heterosigosity in the Blitar buffalo population of the three loci is 41.50%, while the average value of heterosigosity of the Banyuwangi buffalo population is the third locus of 27.60%. This figure shows that the average value of heterosigosity in the Blitar buffalo population is higher when compared with the average value of heterozygosity in the Banyuwangi buffalo population.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa majalah guna mendukung berhasilnya proses pembelajaran anatomi tumbuhan. Hadirnya majalah anatomi tumbuhan diharapkan dapat memberikan suasana belajar yang baru selama proses belajar, serta mampu memberikan informasi terbaru. Model pengembangan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model 4D dari Thiagarajan (1974). Model 4D memiliki 4 tahapan antaralain: define, design, develop, dan disseminate, tetapi dalam penelitian ini hanya dilakukan sampai tahap develop saja tanpa tahap disseminate. Sampel yang digunakan dalam uji coba adalah mahasiswa kelas A angkatan 2017 berjumlah 35 orang, data diperoleh dengan menggunakan hasil angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengembangan bahan ajar Majalah layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran, ini ditunjukkan hasil data uji ahli materi dinyatakan sangat baik, data uji media dan desain pembelajaran dinyatakan sangat baik, data uji coba perorangan dinyatakan sangat baik dan uji coba kelompok sedang dinyatakan sangat baik. Uji coba kelompok sedang dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar Majalah layak digunakan sebagai salah satu reverensi majalah bahan ajar Anatomi Tumbuhan oleh mahasiswa IKIP Budi Utomo Malang karena sudah tervalidasi.

Abstract

Poncokusumo is a village in East Java which most of the people work as a farmer. One of it’s comodities was apple fruit, and the products that have being popular now was apple’s chips. Nowdays people usually use vaccum friying technology to produce apple’s chips. There were some factors that can effect the apple’s chips quality such as slices thickness, oil type and vacuum frying temperature. This is a descriptive quantitative research that want to describe how the variations of slice thickness (K), type of oil (M), and vacuum frying temperature (S) effect the apple’s chips flavor and crispness. The response was organoleptic preference level of the flavor and crispness, chemical analyzes performed on water content, fat content, and carbohydrate content. The results showed there are difference flavor and crispness with variation of slice thickness, type of oil, and vacuum frying temperature. The organoleptic test also showed that most preferred apple’s chips have low water levels, low fat content and high carbohydrate content. The most preferred apple’s chips was chips that have 3 mm of slice thickness, use coconut oil and frying at 850C.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar kognetif melalui media karikatur berbasis sparkol video scribe pada matakuliah Genetika mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi 2014-A IKIP Budi Utomo Malang (IBU). Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan rancangan berupa pemberian tindakan pada siklus pembelajaran, yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Biologi kelas A angkatan 2014, berjumlah 38 mahasiswa. Proses pengumpulan data penelitian dilaksanakan dengan langkah-langkah, yaitu mengobservasi keaktifan mahasiswa dalam proses belajar mengajar dan pelaksanaan tes formatif pada tiap akhir siklus dilanjutkan dengan analisis hasil tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis persentase, yang mana ranah analisisnya meliputi analisis keaktifan mahasiswa dalam proses belajar mengajar dan analisis hasil belajar kognetif mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketuntasan klasikal hasil belajar berupa tes siklus I termasuk ke dalam kategori ‘Cukup’ karena mampu mencapai 71% dengan rata-rata hasil tes adalah 68, namun persentase tersebut belum mampu mencapai target ketuntasan klasikal minimal 80%, oleh karena itu peneliti melanjutkan tindakan pada siklus II. Hasil Penelitian Tindakan Kelas siklus II menunjukkan ketuntasan klasikal hasil belajar berupa tes termasuk ke dalam kategori ‘Baik’ karena mampu mencapai 82% dengan rata-rata hasil tes adalah 73,6, dan persentase ketuntasan ini telah melewati standar ketuntasan klasikal minimal 80%. Keaktifan mahasiswa dalam proses belajar mengajar pun meningkat dari siklus ke siklus, yaitu rata-rata persentase mahasiswa yang aktif pada siklus I hanya mencapai 44,21%, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 58,42%. Sesuai dengan hasil analisis data tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui media karikatur berbasis sparkol video scribe dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognetif mahasiswa Biologi kelas A angkatan 2014 IKIP Budi Utomo Malang.
