Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kendala-kendala dalam pelaksanaan praktikum Biologi di SMA Negeri se kota Palangkaraya. Metode yang digunakan adalah gabungan antara metode kualitatif dan metode kuantatif (mixedmethod). Kendala pelaksanaan praktikum biologi yang ditemukan, yaitu (1) fasilitas laboratorium tidak lengkap, banyak peralatan yang rusak, bahan yang kadaluwarsa, laboratorium digunakan juga untuk kegiatan selain praktikum dan ada alat/bahan yang tersedia tapi tidak pernah digunakan sebagaimana fungsinya (2) dukungan sekolah terhadap kegiatan praktikum masih bersifat dukungan moril dan dukungan pendanaan kerjasama dengan komite sekolah masih belum mencukupi kebutuhan pelaksanaan praktikum, sehingga seringkali guru dan siswa secara swadaya membawa sendiri kekurangan bahan yang diperlukan (3) pengelolaan laboratorium biologi ditugaskan pada salah satu guru biologi dan tidak ada sekolah yang memiliki laboran serta teknisi laboratorium, pengelola laboratorium tidak pernah mengikuti pelatihan manajemen laboratorium dan kegiatan sejenisnya (4) pada tahap pelaksanaan mobilitas siswa yang cukup tinggi dalam kegiatan praktikum memerlukan perhatian lebih dari guru (5) tidak ada jadwal khusus untuk kegiatan praktikum (6) Kesulitan siswa dalam pelaksanaan praktikum adalah kurang menguasai konsep yang dipraktikumkan, kurang terampil dalam menggunakan alat praktikum karena memang kurang terbiasa, sulit bekerjasama dalam kelompok dan kurang berminat membuat laporan praktikum.Kata kunci : Analisis kendala, praktikum biologi

Abstract

Wadi is a sort of the local wisdom of Dayak ethnic at Central Borneo as the effort of food warranty when fish could be found easily or when others  sources of protein, i.e.meat is difficult to be found. Wadi is a fermentation food made from fish or meat processed traditionally by mixing the fish or the meat with salt and “lumu” (fried rice without oil),  then preserved for several days until a special aroma and taste were formed,with salty and acid taste with strong aroma. The changes of the taste and aroma of the wadi is caused by fermentation process  formed during the preservation. The effort to create the wadi as a local wisdom is need to be continued.Keywords: food warranty; local wisdom; traditional food Wadi

Abstract

The path that I studied to make this thesis was one of the connecting road access to the comfort port, very east Kutai. The purpose of this research is to drain the air that occurs on the road surface from the tides of the sea water and rain that flows through existing drainage channels (existing) or that do not yet exist (none) directly to the sea. Therefore, it is necessary to make an air management system that happens, nothing can roll or direct to the existing channels. The current condition of the drainage network shows that it is less capable and optimal in flowing rain and air air from the tides of the sea well, because the drainage is still in the form of excavation from the excavator will not be able to install the sea or rain will damage the road conditions later. In its implementation, studies are needed in the existing dimensions, the furthest path length, concentration time, and current land use utilization. In analyzing secondary analysis, frequency analysis, measurement, planning and analysis. Rain gauge for return periods of 2, 5, 10 and 25 years respectively. After checking, it was found that the available capacity was not sufficient to accommodate the debit needed to repair the drainage system. One solution that can be applied is to create a new drainage channel

Abstract

The great curiosity of adolescents to explore things is often not accompanied by careful consideration so that sometimes the actions are risky for themselves, others, and the surrounding environment. One problem that can arise is reproductive health problems. This training took place at the Muhammadiyah Health Vocational School in Palangkaraya and State High School 1 Palangka Raya with the reason that based on the results of interviews and questionnaires about knowledge of adolescent reproductive health which was still in the low category, no similar training had been carried out at the school. Students at the Vocational School are still teenagers too because they are engaged in health, which will go into the community and can then educate on Adolescent Reproductive Health. Peer groups can be used as a substitute for family, can function to stabilize the influence during the transition as a source of self-esteem, protection from adult coercion. Counselors who use peer counseling services can identify themselves with their peers, and the counselees assume that peer counselors have a willingness to build communication bridges. The results of this activity indicate that there is an increase in the average value of peer counseling skills in the field of adolescent reproductive health. The mean pre-test was 40.8, and the post-test mean was 67.4.

Abstract

The potential of students can be identified by carrying out psychological tests that describe students' personalities. There are 3 components of the test given, namely the integration test (IST), job interest (Kuder test), and personality test (EPPS). The combination of these three tests is called a battery test which results in a psychological report containing a psychogram regarding personal aspects, psychological descriptions, strengths, and weaknesses as well as recommendations for the appropriate field of work. This activity is planned to be carried out in non-school institutions such as courses or tutoring institutions. Based on the evaluation of self-assessment, it shows that participants are able to understand their personal condition along with their strengths and weaknesses, personal areas that need to be developed, and recommendations for higher education majors that are in accordance with their talents, personal interests of participants, evaluation of assessments of training activities shows the results that this training provides benefits to participants, especially regarding college recommendations and assessment of presenters where the presenters are considered good enough in delivering activity material.

Abstract

Innovative learning in addition to varied models, strategies and methods, it is also necessary to approach. The lack of understanding of the basic concepts of science underpins researchers to create learning media for the identification of biodiversity and the subsurface layer in the form of underground layers. Lack of information on previous research regarding research at UM Palangkaraya Integrated Campus on Jl. Anggrek-Mahir Mahar made researchers try to link the environmental approach of UM Integrated Campus area Learning with the final achievement in the form of science media learning objects. This research method began with an initial theoretical study of science learning, followed by a field survey. Observations in the field will examine an area of ​​1 ha identified as having higher biodiversity than others. After setting the plot point, the acquisition is carried out with 2 (two) stages, namely the identification of biodiversity with the sampling of flora and fauna that are at the plot point. The next stage is the acquisition of underground layer mapping using the Self Potential method with porous copper pot and CuSO4 solution. After the acquisition, continued data analysis of the two stages. Biodiversity in the form of flora and fauna types and layer contour maps are poured into learning object media. Hope in the future, researchers can continue mapping the surface and subsurface of the Palangkaraya UM Integrated Campus in an area of ​​20 ha.

Abstract

Sistem pembelajaran dengan pola full day school membutuhkan kesiapan baik fisik, psikologis, maupun intelektual yang bagus (Basuki 2016). stres di bidang akademik pada anak muncul ketika harapan untuk pencapaian prestasi akademik meningkat, baik dari orang tua, guru ataupun teman sebaya dan harapan tersebut tidak sesuai dengan kemampuannya. Salah satu solusi yang ditawarkan untuk menurunkan tingkat stress pada Peserta didik di sekolah yang menerapkan full days school adalah dengan terapi menulis ekspresif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat stres akademik pada Peserta didik di Sekolah Full Day School sebelum dan sesudah diberikan terapi menulis ekspresif. Dan Untuk mengetahui proses terapi menulis tingkat stres akademik pada Peserta didik di Sekolah Full Day School. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif studi kasus menggunakan rancangan penelitian multiple baseline Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 15 orang subyek berusia 15-17 tahun. Dengan Memenuhi krirteria DSM IV untuk gangguan penyesuaian (stress), belum pernah diberikan terapi menulis sebelumnya dan bersedia bekerjasama dengan terapis dengan menandatangani inform consent. Hasil peneltian menunjukan Adanya penurunan tingkat stress akademik subjek. Berdasarkan hasil dari sesi 1 sampai sesi ke 10, Skor rata-rata sesi pra terapi adalah 84.5 dan Skor rata-rata sesi pascaterapi adalah 56.7 sedangkan perilaku positif yang muncul . adalah subjek dapat mengerjakan tugas tepat waktu, konsentrasi dalam belajar meningkat dan percaya diri atas kemampuan yang dimiliki.

Abstract

Indonesia has abundant biodiversity, especially in Central Kalimantan. One of the ways to explore biodiversity in Central Kalimantan is as a biopharmaceutical, but the results of this exploration are very minimally applied as a learning resource. This study aims to explore the medicinal plants typical of Central Kalimantan used by the Dayak people, especially in the field of cosmetic dermatology. This study uses a qualitative research method with an ethnographic approach. The result`s showed that there were 11 plant species that were used by various sub-ethnic Dayak tribes in Central Kalimantan to treat various diseases, especially for skin health and beauty. The results of these studies can be used as a source of learning in lecture activities as a form of continuing education.Abstrak Indonesia memiliki keanekaragaman hayati yang melimpah, terlebih di Kalimantan Tengah. Keanekaragaman hayati di Kalimantan Tengah salah satunya dieksplorasi sebagai biofarmaka, hanya saja hasil eksplorasi tersebut minim sekali penerapannya sebagai sumber belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi tumbuhan obat khas Kalimantan Tengah yang digunakan oleh masyarakat suku Dayak khususnya pada bidang dermatologi kosmetik, hasil penelitian tersebut diharapkan dapat dikembangkan menajdi sumber belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 11 spesies tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan oleh berbagai sub etnis suku dayak yang ada di Kalimantan Tengah untuk mengobati berbagai macam penyakit khususnya untuk kesehatan kulit dan kecantikan. Hasil penelitian tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar pada kegiatan perkuliahan sebagai bentuk pendidikan berkelanjutan.
