Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect the area of Forest Fire and Deforestation Figures on Green House Gas Emission Level. This study uses descriptive quantitative research, with statistical analytical methods. The data source is processed with Importance-Performance Analysis, so that the area can be used as a reference in reducing the level of greenhouse gas emissions. The provinces of South Kalimantan, South Sumatra and Papua are areas prone to fires which are suspected not to be affected by the high level of Indonesia's deforestation within and outside the Forest Zone, but there may be other factors that play a role in the emergence of forest fires. It is suspected that among the factors that can be a trigger factor for high levels of forest fires that are directly related to the increase in the number of greenhouse gas emissions, namely the distribution of peat deposits

Abstract

Sources of natural dyes that are currently becoming an attractive choice in textiles encourage various parties to search for and develop it. A variety of plants that have the potential as sources of natural dyes in various regions, including South Sumatera Province, is rich in various plants, both dry and wetlands. Sriwijaya Botanical Garden as one of the regions in South Sumatra Province, which stores various plant species, also has a potential source of natural dyes, namely Begonia (Begonia Sp) and seduduk (Melastoma malabathricum L.). This research is experimental research conducted in January-May 2020. Based on observation, it can be concluded that the brightness of the colors produced on the fabric can be obtained by using mineral water, while to produce a darker color can be used peat water. The type of binding agent used can also affect the resulting color's appearance to increase the diversity of colors made from natural ingredients. In the future, the resulting color's chemical content test is essential so that it can be developed as a natural dye in the textile industry.

Abstract

Pineapple is a perishable fruit, has a short shelf life which is only lasted 7 days at room temperature conditions (28oC - 30oC). To overcome this problem, it is necessary to do postharvest processing of pineapple as a form of pineapple diversification, so that it can maintain the value of pineapple sales during the pineapple season and abundant pineapple. One diversification of pineapple that can be done is to make pineapple chips. Making pineapple chips is done by 2 methods, namely making chips with pineapple that was previously in the freezer first and making chips with fresh pineapple. Characteristics of fresh fruit and pineapple chips are tested in a laboratory, including test parameters: proximate (water content, ash content, fat content, protein content and carbohydrate content), total acid, vitamin C, reducing sugar, pH, total dissolved solids and% parts which is eaten. Pineapple chip shelf life test is carried out on two treatments namely freezer (through cooling) and fresh (without freezer). Each treatment was tested with a mass stored in pp-Al foil and full Al-foil packaging. Each treatment in each package was tested for ALT-bacteria and MPN coliform. From the results of the ALT Bacterial Laboratory Test it was seen that for fresh pineapple chips and freezer pineapple chips with full aluminum foil or half aluminum foil (pp-al foil) packaging there was no difference in results where bacterial growth was still 0 (no bacteria growing, only MPN Coliform but still below the eligibility standard that is <2). This proves that pineapple chips made are suitable for consumption in a storage period of 1 month.

Abstract

As an icon of Palembang city, multi flavor kemplang has a great opportunity to be developed, both for promoting the local economy and increasing regional revenue in the tourism sector. The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of multiflavor kemplang industry in kelurahan 5 Ulu Palembang by using the conventional financial criteria include NPV, Net B / C and Pay Back Period, as well as non-financial methods that include technical feasibility, political feasibility, social feasibility,and feasibility for household main sourceof income. The study indicates that multiflavor home industry with minimum scale of 5 kg per day would be able to support the minimum cost of living, and to finance the education of 2 children up to the college level. Result shows that NPV is Rp.255.974.400,-. Net B/C is 2,31, and PBP is 0,79 which as a whole indicate that multiflavor kemplang home industry is feasible to be developed in kelurahan 5 Ulu Palembang

Abstract

Keamanan makanan menjadi sangat penting agar tidak menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan. Tetapi ironisnya, belakangan ini banyak makanan yang beredar di masyarakat tidak terjamin lagi keamanannya. Salah satu penyebab rendahnya konsumsi buah adalah rendahnya mutu buah terutama disebabkan oleh tingginya kontaminasi logam berat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisa kontaminasi logam berat dalam buah melon di lokasi tanam pada area tambang batubara di Kabupaten Lahat. Kadar logam berat dalam buah melon yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif, dibandingkan dengan baku mutu SNI 7313:2008 tentang Batas Maksimum Residu (BMR) hasil pertanian. Dari analisa tanaman melon yang ditanam dilokasi tambang batubara didapatkan kandungan logamnya yang masih dibawah ambang batas sehingga aman untuk dikonsumsi. Tetapi pada daunnya mengandung logam yang lebih tinggi sehingga tidak dianjurkan untuk memanfaatkan daun melon sebagai pakan tenak. Disarankan untuk pengelolaan lahan sebelum ditanami dan mengurangi penggunaan pestisida untuk keamanan logam berat dalam buah melon. Khususnya karena terkontaminasi logam-logam berat seperti timbal (Pb), merkuri Hg), arsen (As) dan kadmium (Cd). Padahal bila logam-logam tersebut masuk ke dalam tubuh lewat makanan, selain akan menganggu system saraf, kerusakan otak, kelumpuhan, pertumbuhan terhambat, kerusakan ginjal, kerapuhan tulang dan kerusakan DNA atau kanker.

Abstract

Fluids are a shape of a matter which have substance liquids, gases and plasmas. In our daily life, fluids become important part, such as part of our blood and also help our body getting nutrients. It is well known that fluid motion can be described in mathematical model in especially in form of partial differential equations (PDE) and called as Navier Stokes Equations  (NSE). The Navier Stokes equation is derived from balance of conservation of mass and conservation of momentum. In this paper, we consider the solution formula of the linearized of the Navier Stokes Equation (NSE) with the initial boundary value (IBV) problem in half space without surface tension. The model problem under consideration covers of non-linear fluid type. We solve the solution formula of velocity and density of the model problem by using Fourier transform and partial Fourier transform method. The strategy geting the solution of the model problem is based on the analysis of some resolvent of the model problem which obtained by using Laplace transform of the Stokes equations. Therefore, In particular, the formula of velocity and density of the Stokes equation are obtained.

Abstract

Pada makalah ini, dibahas sistematika pengambilan keputusan dalam penyeleksian pengajuan pembiayaan bagi nasabah studi kasus di PT. Bank BNI Syariah Purwokerto. Metode yang digunakan adalah gabungan metode fuzzy ANP dan fuzzy TOPSIS, serta linear programming. Fuzzy ANP untuk memperoleh bobot prioritas kriteria keputusan, fuzzy TOPSIS untuk memperoleh prioritas peringkat nasabah yang akan diberikan pembiayaan dan linear programming untuk memperoleh limit pembiayaan maksimal setiap nasabah. Hasil perhitungan fuzzy ANP menunjukkan bahwa kriteria sinkronisasi data memiliki bobot prioritas paling besar dibandingkan kriteria lainnya dalam penyeleksian pengajuan pembiayaan. Dari 10 nasabah yang diseleksi menggunakan fuzzy TOPSIS diperoleh empat peringkat nasabah. Sementara limit pembiayaan maksimal setiap nasabah yang diperoleh menggunakan linear programming menunjukkan bahwa besar limit pembiayaannya tidak melebihi besarnya dana yang diajukan setiap nasabah.
