Abstract

This paper discusses an algorithm to determine the power of a square matrix, A , without computing its eigenvalues.  The algorithm can be used to compute  An, for each real number n  which is greater or equal to two.

Abstract

Saliva perlu dihasilkan dalam rongga mulut dalam jumlah yang cukup agar dapat menjalankan fungsinya dengan baik. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi sekresi saliva di dalam mulut yaitu kondisi emosional. Sekolah kedokteran gigi diketahui sebagai lingkungan pembelajaran yang meminta tuntutan yang tinggi dan penuh dengan tekanan jiwa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh stres, depresi, dan kecemasan terhadap volume saliva pada mahasiswa preklinik fakultas kedokteran gigi Universitas Hasanuddin. Stres, depresi, dan kecemasan diukur dengan menggunakan kuesioner depression anxiety stress scale (DASS) yang terdiri dari 42 pertanyaan. Saliva diukur dengan menggunakan stopwatch dan tabung ukur. Sampel pada penelitian ini sejumlah 99 orang, diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode proportional random sampling. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh melalui akumulasi dari jawaban kuesioner DASS untuk stres 13,41, untuk depresi 6,16, dan untuk kecemasan 9,56, sedangkan nilai rata-rata saliva diperoleh sebesar 2,34 ml. Tingkat stres dan depresi pada mahasiswa preklinik kedokteran gigi Universitas Hasanuddin tergolong normal, hanya tingkat kecemasannya saja yang di atas normal, namun masih dalam tahap kecemasan ringan. Berdasarkan penelitian ini diketahui pula pengaruh penurunan volume saliva yang signifikan karena stres, depresi, dan kecemasan.

Abstract

Dental caries and developmental defect enamel (DDE) in children are very important in preventing diseases of the oral cavity. Caries and enamel defect decrease quality of life of the individual and may also adversely affect the child's future. This study aimed to examine dental caries and enamel defect in children aged 6-10 years in North Mamuju. This study used pathfinder pilot survey, the subjects were 235 people aged 6-10 years. Boys aged 6-7 years have higher average dft index than girls 4.89 dan 3.22. Based on category 6-7 years has higher dft index than category 8-10 years 6.45 dan 2.85. The enamel defect for category 6-7 years shows 1 child experienced demarcation enamel opacity and none had diffuse opacity enamel and hypoplasia enamel, while category 8-10 years shows 1 child has diffuse enamel opacity, 4 children experienced demarcation enamel opacity and 2 children have hypoplasia. It was concluded that children aged 6-7 years have average dft index is 3.9 (medium category) and the prevalence of dental caries is 79,57%. While the prevalence of enamel defect is 4.27% which was dominated by the demarcation enamel opacity in North Mamuju, West Sulawesi.

Abstract

Early   Breasfeeding   Initiation   and   Exclusive Breastfeeding is a breakthrough in efforts to decrease mortality Newborns and form generation of higher quality. Klaten Regency is the first regency in Indonesia which is successful in launching IMD law and exclusive breastfeeding. In a reality,  Regional Regulation Number 7 Year 2008 has not been supported by regional head’s regulation to support the implementation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the policy formulation and implementation Regional Regulation   Number   7   Year   2008.   The   research   was conducted in May-July 2011. This study is a qualitative research. Data was collected through indepth interview method. Subjects were as many as 9 people stakeholders drawn  purposively.  Data  processed  by  content  analysis.The results showed that the policy formulation process begins with a public issue to become policy issue with the socialization of health professionals and the public and promotion  in  a  number  of  mass  media.  Mobilization  of support   and   the   presence   of   advocacy   and   coalition conducted to establish the next step which    is continued to the Law Department. After proceed in Section Executive then it was submitted to Section Legislative to be discussed and decided to become Regional Regulation. The implementation of Regional Regulation has been running with a group of supporters of  breastfeeding, forming 4 Baby Friendly sub districts, no sponsors milk formula in health activities, hold the black flag in front of BPS that does not comply with the law and the existence of a central referral hospital support lactation. The conclusion of this study is the formulation of Regional Regulation has been run in accordance with the rule of  law reign. Although there is no Perbup, implementation has been run on the internal Public Health Service. Implementation is still not optimal yet Perbup legalization.  Suggestions  for  Public  Health  should immediately  be  made  perbup  Klaten  and  in  collaboration with   other   sectors   so   that   the   implementation   of   the legislation is more extensive and thorough.                                              ABSTRAK Inisiasi Menyusu Dini dan ASI Eksklusif merupakan upaya terobosan dalam penurunan Angka Kematian  Bayi  baru  lahir  dan  membentuk  generasi  yang lebih berkualitas. Kabupaten Klaten merupakan Kabupaten pertama di Indonesia yang berhasil meluncurkan Perda IMD dan ASI Eksklusif. Kenyataan yang ada Perda Nomor 7 tahun 2008   belum   didukung   oleh   Peraturan   Bupati   untuk mendukung pelaksanaan Perda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis formulasi dan implementasi kebijakan Perda Nomor 7 tahun 2008 tentang IMD dan ASI Eksklusif Kabupaten Klaten. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap subyek penelitian sebanyak 9 orang stake holder yang dipilih secara purposive dan dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei - Juli 2011. Data diolah dengan content analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa proses formulasi kebijakan diawali dengan membuat masalah publik menjadi issue dengan sosialisasi kepada tenaga kesehatan dan masyarakat serta melakukan promosi ke sejumlah media massa.  Mobilisasi  dukungan  serta  adanya  advokasi  dan koalisi dilakukan untuk memantapkan langkah berikutnya yaitu melanjutkan ke Bagian Hukum DPRD Klaten. Setelah berproses di Bagian Eksekutif kemudian Raperda diajukan kepada DPRD Kabupaten Klaten untuk dibahas dan diputuskan menjadi Perda. Implementasi Perda IMD dan ASI eksklusif telah berjalan dengan adanya Kelompok pendukung ASI, dicanangkannya 4 Kecamatan Sayang Bayi, tidak ada sponsor  susu  formula  dalam  kegiatan  kesehatan,  bendera hitam di depan BPS yang tidak mematuhi Perda dan adanya dukungan RS menjadi pusat rujukan laktasi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah formulasi Perda telah berjalan sesuai dengan tata hukum pemerintahan. Walaupun belum ada Perbup, implementasi telah berjalan di internal Dinas Kesehatan. Implementasi Perda masih belum optimal dengan belum disahkannya  Perbup.  Saran untuk  Dinas  Kesehatan Klaten perlu segera dibuat perbup dan bekerjasama dengan sektor lain sehingga implementasi Perda IMD dan ASI eksklusif lebih luas dan menyeluruh. Keywords :    Kebijakan  Kesehatan,  Inisiasi  Menyusu  Dini (IMD), ASI Eksklusif      (  Health  Policy,  Early  Breastfeeding  Initiation,  Exclusive breastfeeding).

Abstract

Non-Timber Forest Products (NTFPs) have a very important role for the community, especially the community around the forest. The community in Bontosikuyu District in the HPT KPHL Selayar area utilizes NTFPs in the form of candlenut. This study aims to describe the management of candlenut and calculate the contribution of the candlenut business to other farm incomes in the Bontosikuyu sub-district in the HPT KPHL Selayar area. This research was conducted from December 2021 to January 2022. The data collected in the form of primary data and secondary data. The results showed that the management of candlenut in Bontosikuyu District in the HPT KPHL Selayar area is still managed traditionally. People use candlenut business as a side business to increase income. The contribution given by the candlenut business to farmers' income is 75% or Rp. 122.860,000 per year.
