Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the correlation between emotional intelligence, responsibility, and discipline with thematic learning outcomes, its relationship together with thematic learning outcomes; and the percentage of combined contributions to thematic learning outcomes. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach implemented in fourth and fifth grade students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 3 Segedong. The target of this study is all members of the population, it will be more suitable to use the term research subjects. The number of research subjects were 36 students. Data collection using questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used simple correlation and multiple correlation with two and three independent variables. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant correlation between the independent variables with the dependent variable obtained r1y of 0,610, r2y of 0,645, r3y of 0,897, Ry-12 of 0,671, Ry-13 of 0,911, Ry-23 of 0,898, Ry-123 of 0,917 and the combined contribution of the three independent variables is 84%.Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Responsibility, Discipline, Thematic Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran yang objektif tentang korelasi antara penerapan strategi the power of two dengan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 9 Sungai Kunyit. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan bentuk penelitiannya adalah studi hubungan atau korelasi. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah 42 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Penerapan strategi the power of two pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 9 Sungai Kunyit memperoleh rata-rata 88,25 termasuk kategori sangat baik; (2) Hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial memperoleh rata-rata 77,54 termasuk kategori baik; (3) Terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara penerapan strategi the power of two dengan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 9 Sungai Kunyit. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari jumlah rxy>rtabel (0,46>0,312). Dengan demikian Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak.; (4) Tingkat hubungan termasuk kategori sedang dikarenakan rxy = 0,46 berada diantara interval koefisien 0,40 – 0,599. Kata kunci:   Strategi the power of two, Hasil belajar, Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial  Abstract: This research aims to get the objective side about the correlation between the implementation of strategy the power of two with the student learning result in Social Sciences of fifth grade Sekolah Dasar Negeri 9 Sungai Kunyit. The research method that used is descriptive method and form of research is correlation studies. Data source of this research is 42 students. The result research indicates that: (1) implementation of strategy the power of two in Social Sciences of fifth grade Sekolah Dasar Negeri 9 Sungai Kunyit gained an average of 88,25 including the excellent category; (2) student learning result in Social Sciences gained an average of 77,54 including the both category; (3) there is a significant correlation between the implementation of strategy the power of two with the student learning result in Social Sciences of fifth grade Sekolah Dasar Negeri 9 Sungai Kunyit. It can be proved from the amount of rxy>rtabel (0,46>0,312). Thereby Ha accepted and Ho refused; (4) Degree of relationship including the medium category because rxy = 0,46 are among coefficient intervals 0,40 – 0,599.
