Abstract

The addition of positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Indonesia continues to occur. Ciamis Regency, which is geographically far from the center of the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia, cannot be separated from the target of the spread. One of the efforts to prevent virus transmission is by increasing the immune system through balanced nutritional intake. Based on the results of the situation analysis in the Muktisari Village area, information was obtained that the community did not understand the relationship between balanced nutrition and the immune system. The habit of consuming foods with unbalanced nutrition, not paying attention to food safety in processing, and not implementing clean and healthy living habits are problems that must be resolved. Providing education to Posyandu cadres who act as mediators of health information services in the community is expected to be the first step in solving problems. Balanced nutrition education consists of material presentation using power point media and booklet media as well as cooking demonstrations. The positive response of participants to educational activities can be seen from the activeness of the participants, both during the discussion session and during the cooking demonstration. Based on the results of pre-test and post-test data processing, the n-gain value obtained is 0.2. This shows that there is an increase in the understanding of Posyandu cadres before and after the provision of balanced nutrition education

Abstract

The POE2WE learning model is a learning model developed to determine students' understanding of a concept with a constructivist approach. Hands on activity is an activity designed to involve students in seeking information and asking questions, doing activities and finding, collecting data and analyzing, and making their own conclusions. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of the hand on activity-based POE2WE model to critical thinking skills. This research uses literature study method. The research was conducted by collecting secondary data from articles relevant to the topic under study. The data were analyzed and concluded. The results of the synthesis of relevant research indicate that the Hands On Activity learning model is effective for critical thinking and is active in social interaction. In addition, POE2WE learning will make it easier for teachers by involving students to be more active, and reflecting on new understandings according to the initial knowledge possessed by students.

Abstract

This study aims to measure students' understanding of the concept of  This study aims to measure students' conceptual understanding of quantum phenomena with the help of the quizizz application evaluation media. The research method uses descriptive methods. Learning evaluation using quizziz helps improve students' understanding of quantum phenomena. The understanding of students is 52% with an understanding level of understanding, 5% for understanding very understanding and 43% understanding enough. Learning evaluation using quizziz can be used by educators as an alternative ICT-based learning media to be utilized as much as possible to achieve learning objectives

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the explanation of time dilation according to scientific theory and the Qur'an, and to analyze the application of video with the POE2WE model. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a literature review technique. The results of this study indicate that according to scientific theory time dilation is the time difference due to relative motion. Two observers moving relative to each other will experience a time difference. In several verses of the Qur'an Allah explains that one day according to Allah is equal to a thousand years according to human calculations. This shows that before Einstein discovered the theory of relativity, the Qur'an had long explained the phenomenon. The application of video with the POE2WE model in time dilation physics learning material is very suitable to be applied. The videos are presented in an interesting way so that they are not boring and are not centered on the teacher as a source of information.

Abstract

Communication skills and problem solving skills are indispensable and must be trained to pre-service physics teachers in the 21st century. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between communication skills and problem solving skills of physics education students at mechanics courses. The research subjects were 65 physics education students 2019/2020 academic year taking mechanics courses. The research instrument used communication skills observation sheet, case description test and an interview conducted by three observers. The results of data analysis showed positive correlation in medium category between communication skills and problem solving skills with a correlation coefficient value of 0.50. The contribution of communication skills to problem solving skills by 25%.

Abstract

Most natural phenomena in physics learning require students to understand conscientific knowledge, so to improve students' understanding requires a scientific approach. The skills that can be developed are the skills of the science process. To balance theory and practice, practical activities are required to practice the skills of the science process. . However, there have been some experiments in which processes and concepts are abstract - one of which is on particle wave dualisme material. This research aims to describe how poe2we blended models students' science process skills on particle wave dualism material through the use of virtual laboratories. This research method uses literature studies from previous research. The results showed that the poe2we blended model in the use of virtual laboratories in particle wave dualism material was found to be a science process skill in students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan analisis pemahaman konsep siswa dengan model blended POE2WE berbasis augmented reality pada meteri induksi elektrimagnetik. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena masih kurangnya pemahaman konsep fisika khususnya dalam materi induksi elektromagnetik dan kurangnya inovasi dalam pembelajaran sehingga dapat menurunkan proses pemahaman konsep siswa. Oleh karena itu harus sebuah gagasan dan inovasi dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya dalam materi induksi elektromagnetik  yaitu dengan cara menggunakan media pembelajaran augmented reality. Adapun metode penelitian yang yaitu studi kepustakaan dengan mengkaji beberapa literature sebelumnya pada topik yang sama untuk dianalisis dan dibuat kesimpulan. Hasilpenulisaninimenunjukkanbahwa Pemahaman konsep siswa dengan model blended POE2WE berbasis augmented reality sebagai inovasi pembelajaran dapat menjadi solusi dari permasalah yang ditemui ketika proses belajar mengajar sehingga dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep pada siswa.

Abstract

The enactment of Work from Home (WFH) during the Covid-19 pandemic has affected educational activities. Conventional offline learning must be held online so that effective online learning media is needed. The screencast is an online learning media that believed can provide easy access to students in conducting an online lecture. The screencast is a digital video recording on the computer screen and usually includes audio narration. This study aimed to analyze students' perception on screencast use in 1st Basic Physics lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research involved 76 physics education students in one of the higher education institutions in Tasikmalaya. They consist of 9 males and 67 females in the age range (18-21 years). This research is a descriptive study, with data collection techniques using a Likert scale questionnaire. Analysis of students' perceptions of screencast aspects (content, construct, language, and graphic) are good, with a value of 79. Then, analysis of screencast implications on changes in students' knowledge and skills are a good category with a value of 78. The analysis of students' perceptions found a positive response using screencast in 1st Basic Physics lecture. The screencast can be effective online learning media to enhance student's knowledge and skills

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh produk Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis discovery learning berbantuan software Modellus pada pokok bahasan gerak parabola yang valid dan praktis untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D Thiagarajan. Model pengembangan 4D terdiri dari empat tahap utama yaitu tahap define, tahap design, tahap develop, dan tahap disseminate. Namun, dalam penelitian ini peneliti membatasi penggunaan model pengembangan 4D ini hanya sampai pada tahap develop. Instrumen pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, angket analisis karakteristik peserta didik terhadap kebutuhan media pembelajaran, angket validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, serta angket respon pendidik dan peserta didik terhadap kepraktisan produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase nilai validitas produk berdasarkan ahli media adalah 93,33% dengan kriteria sangat valid dan ahli materi adalah 97,64% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Persentase nilai kepraktisan produk berdasarkan respon pendidik adalah 94% dengan kriteria sangat praktis dan respon peserta didik adalah 92,10% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis discovery learning berbantuan software Modellus pada pokok bahasan gerak parabola yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika. Kata kunci: discovery learning; gerak parabola; lembar kerja peserta didik (lkpd); software modellus ABSTRACTThis study aims to obtain a student worksheet product based on discovery learning assisted by Modellus software on this topic of projectile motion that is valid and practical to be us as a learning medium. This research was conduct using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Thiagarajan 4D development model. The 4D development model consists of four main stages, namely the define stage, the design stage, the developing stage, and the disseminated stage. However, in this study, the researcher limits the use of this 4D development model to only the development stage. Instruments of data collection were carrie out through interviews, questionnaires to analyze the characteristics of students on the needs of learning media, validation questionnaires from media experts and material experts, well questionnaires for teacher and student responses to the practicality of the product. The results showed that the percentage value of product validity based on media experts was 93.33% with very valid criterium and material experts were 97.64% with very valid criterium. The percentage value of the practicality of the product based on the teacher's response is 94% with very practical criterium, and the student response is 92.10% with very practical criterium. Thus, the Student Worksheet based on discovery learning assisted by Modellus software on the subject of projectile motion developed has met the valid and practical criterium to be used as a physics learning medium. Keywords: discovery learning; projectile motion; student worksheet; software modellus

Abstract

This research aims to examine the use of reading guide-based physics practicum manuals to improve students' creative thinking skills. The type of research method used in this research is a literature study. Data collection is obtained from various journals, books, and proceedings that are relevant to the focus of the research and based on creative thinking indicators, namely fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration in a reading guide-based practical model. The data were analyzed by the correlation between the indicators of creative thinking ability and the practicum guide model used. The results of this research are a collection of references that are relevant to the focus of the research. Based on the results of the literature study, it was found that there was a correlation or continuity between the criteria for reading guide learning strategies and indicators of creative thinking skills, namely: 1) Fluency, 2) flexibility, 3) originality, and 4) elaboration. Therefore, it is concluded that the use of variations of the reading guide-based physics practicum model will be able to improve students' creative thinking skills if it is used in learning that carries out physics practicum.
