Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research are for design and develop of comic as media learning for science in 8th Junior High School. The research was conducted at Study Program of Biology Education campus FKIP University of Riau from April until Juni 2015. This research used Research and Development (R&D) approach with ADDIE model. The comic have subject is Transportation System. We used validation sheet were filled by 5 validators. Then, we executed of limited trial at 10 students in 8th grade Junior High School 1 Pekanbaru with student questionnaire responses. The value of media comic validation can be seen at 5 aspects, they are simplicity, suppression, balance, integration and comic design. The result is media comic can aplication in learning activity at class Key Word : Comic, Media Learning for Science, Transportation System

Abstract

Abstract: Has conducted research for the development of media designInformation, Communication and Technology (ICT) -based Green Pedagogy for studentteachers of biology FKIP University of Riau. This study was conducted from January toJune 2015. This type of research is a kind of research development (Research andDevelopment), the procedural ADDIE development model. ADDIE developmentprocedures are implemented, namely Analysis, Design, Development and the trial waslimited. The results showed that the validation of ICT-based Learning Media PedagogyGreen to KD 1.1 to KD 1.4 total mean value validation is 3,29 (valid). For Web-basedvalidation Pedagogy Green to KD 1.1 to KD 1.4 total mean value validation is 3,24(valid). Based on the results of research conducted, it can be concluded that theLearning Media Green ICT-based pedagogy that has been developed as a supplementto the subject Environmental Education in Prodi. UR Biology category is valid and canbe implemented in the learning process.Key words: Design, Media learning ICT, Pedagogy Green

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of  this research was to improve the learning activity and students' understanding of Biology concepts through the application of models Guided discovery with Card sort method in class XI IPA 3 MAN 1 Pekanbaru school year 2014/2015. This research is action research conducted in two cycles in March and April 2015. The subjects were students of class XI IPA 3 MAN 1 Pekanbaru school year 2014/2015, amounting to 32 people, consisting of 22 women and 10 men. Parameter research is learning activities and students' understanding of biology concepts consisting of absorption and mastery learning. The average of students' learning activities in the first cycle is 79.74% with sufficient category and the second cycle increased to 88.86% with the good category. Understanding the concept based on the average absorption of students in the first cycle is 80.94 and the second cycle increased to 88.06. Mastery learning students in the first cycle is 71.88% and the second cycle increased to 87.50%. From the results of this research concluded that the application of models Guided discovery with the Card sort method can increase the activity of learning and understanding the concept of class XI IPA 3 MAN 1 Pekanbaru school year 2014/2015. Abstract

Abstract: The research done in class VII MTs Datuk Batu Hampar Bagansiapiapi Academic Year 2015/2016 to increased study output of student using the appliction of cooperative learning type NHT (Numbered Head Together). The research is a Class Action Research (CAR) thes force two cycle including planning, action, observation dan refletion. Techniques of collecting data used were a whritten test and an observation. Parameter research is study output of student (cognition aspect (absorption and mastery learning student), affective aspect, psychomotor aspect (simulate test) and teacher activity. Cognition aspect seen by daily quiz on first cycle is 73,21% (decent) increased on the second cycle up to 80,65% (good). Mastery learning student on first cycle are 14 students (73,68%) and increased on second cycle up to 19 students (95%). Average affective aspect on first cycle is 77,20% (good) and and increased on second cycle up to 91,88% (excellent). Average psychomotor aspect (simulate test) on first cycle is 81,97% (good) and increased on second cycle up to 95,47% (excellent). Average teacher activity in learning action on first cycle is 76,67% (good) and increased on second cycle up to 94,14% (excellent). From the result of this research can concluded that the application of cooperative learning type NHT (Numbered Head Together) can increased study output of the student of class VII MTs Datuk Batu Hampar Bagansiapiapi Academic Year 2015/ 2016.Keyword : Type Numbered Head Together (NHT), IPA study output

Abstract

Abstrack:This reseach aims to improve learning outcomes of IPA class VIIc MTs Hubbul Wathan Bagan Punak in academic year 205/2016 through the implementation learning model cooperative type TPS. This research in March-April 2016. The research subjects is student class VIIc MTs Hubbul Wathan Bagan Punak totaling 28 people, consisting of 10 femele student and 18 male student. Parameter in research this is learning outcomes consisting of absorption, completeness learning, awerds group, learning activities student and teacher. The average absorption of studens in cycle I is 69.76% (enough), in cycle II average absorption student increased to 74.10% (good). completeness learning students individuals in cycle I is 90% (complete) and 10% (not complete). The cycle II increased to 100%. awerds group in cycle I consists of 4 group with super predicate and 3 groub with great, in cycle II all group received the predicate of greate. Average student activity in cycle I is 69.39% (enough) and in cycle II the average percentage of student activity increased to 75.50% (good). The average teacher activity in cycle I is 93,33% (very good) and in cycle II is 100% (very good). Of the results of this research note that the applicatiaon of learning models cooverative type TPS can improve student learning outcomes in the class VIIc MTs Hubbul Wathan Bagan Punak academic years 2015/2016.Keywords: learning cooperative, learning outcomes

Abstract

The type of this reserch is development research using Research and Development (R & D) approach with model ADDIE. The comic have subject Interaction of Living Organisms  and The Environment. Make validation test for the media comic that filled by 5 validators. And then, limited trial conducted at 10 student in 7th Grade Junior High School 1 Pekanbaru. The limited trial was used student questionnaire responses. The value of media comis validation can be seen at 5 aspect, there are simplicity, suppression, balance, integration and comic design. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the levels of lead (Pb) and Hemoglobin (Hb) in gas station’s operator in the city of Pekanbaru on May-July 2016. This research is descriptive research with cross sectional approach. This study consists of two phases i.e. phase analysis of the levels of lead (Pb) and Hemoglobin (Hb) in gas station operator in the laboratory and stage the draft Handout. Research samples taken with purposive sampling method with predetermined criteria. The sample of this research totalled 25 people consists of 18 men and seven women taken from a five gas station in the city of Pekanbaru.. Examination of the levels of lead (Pb) is done using AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer) and examination of the levels of Hemoglobin (Hb) using the Easy Touch GCHb. Research results obtained from the 25 people who examined 15 people (60%) have a high lead levels and low hemoglobin levels. Research results are then used as material enrichment on teaching biology in senior high school class X on the air pollution material in the form of a Handout design.Key Words: Lead (Pb), Hemoglobin (Hb), Gas stasion’s operator, Handout.

Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted to determine the learning outcome of students by implementing Discovery Learning based on image media. This research was done in class VII B SMP Negeri 3 Bangko the school year 2015/2016. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collected in this study is the student learning outcomes that consist of cognitive (absorption and completeness of student learning), affective and psychomotor aspects and activities of teachers. Data were collected using a written test and observation sheet. The results showed that students learning outcomes consist of cognitive (absorption and completeness of student learning), affective and psychomotor aspects and activities of teachers has increased. Cognitive aspects of absorption seen in the first cycle is 79.79% (enough) increased in the second cycle into 82.67% (excellent). Mastery learning students remains 100% (category complete), both the first cycle and the second cycle. Average of affective aspects in cycle I is 73.80% (enough) increased in the second cycle into 85.22% (excellent). Average psychomotor aspects in cycle I is 82.56% (good) increased in the second cycle into 91.86% (excellent). The average activities of teachers in the first cycle is 93.19% (excellent) increased in the second cycle to 100% (excellent). It can be concluded that the application of Discovery Learning based on image media can improve learning outcomes grade science students VII B SMP Negeri 3 Bangko the school year 2015/2016.Keywords: Discovery Learning, image media, Learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to know about the image perception of teachers and students of SMP Pekanbaru to the quality of science text book 2013 based curriculum for SMP/MTs VII grade published byKemendikbud. The research was conductedfrom February to July 2014. The sample in this study amounted to 12 science teachers SMP at selected by the sample saturated, while SMP students of VII grade totaled 588 randomly selected people. Data collection instrumentused was a questionnaire enclosed and open questionnaire. Enclosed questionnaire for science teachers SMP consists of 50 items that statement is divided into 5 indicators, namely the feasibility of the content, presentation material, linguistic, books graphic, and conformity with the curriculum. Meanwhile, enclosed questionnaire for SMP students of VII grade consists of 30 items divided into a statement that four indicators, namely the feasibility of the content, presentation material, linguistic, and books graphic. The collected data were analyzed descriptively. The perceptions of science teachers SMP picture Pekanbaru to quality science text book are averaging 3,19 classified into good category. And so it is with the perceptions of students VII grade SMP Pekanbaru to the quality of Pekanbaru science text books have averaged 3,22 with good category.Keywords:perception, text books, curriculum 2013

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was determine the perception of Biology teachers and Public Senior High School students in Pekanbaru to the quality of Biology textbook for Senior High School class X published by Erlangga based on Curriculum 2013. This study was conducted from January to June 2014. Sample in this study were 6 Biology teachers who taught in class X and 274 Public Senior High School students class X majors MIA (Matematika dan Ilmu Alam) in Pekanbaru who became target the implementation of Curriculum 2013, whose chosen by purposive sampling technique. Data collection instruments was questionnaires, which grouped into teacher questionnaire and student questionnaire. Teacher questionnaire consists of the closed-ended questionnaire was 50 statments and divided into 5 indicators, the indicators are component of feasibility content, component of material presentation, component of language, component of book graph, component of compatibility with Curriculum 2013. The open-ended questionnaire was 5 questions. Student questionnaire consists of the closed-ended questionnaire was 26 statments divided into 4 indicators, the indicators are component of feasibility content, component of material presentation, component of language, component of book graph. Data analyzed descriptively. Overall, the quality of Biology textbook based on Biology teachers perception showed in quite well criteria with average of 2,54 and based on students perception showed quite well criteria with average 2,43. This indicate the textbook have not been able to complete all criteria that has been established by BSNP (Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan).Key Words: Perception, Quality of Biology Textbook, Curriculum 2013
