Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuanuntuk meningkatkan sikap ilmiahsains biologi siswa kelas VII4 SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru melalui Penggunaan Bahan AjarBerbasis CTL.Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitiandilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai Juni 2010. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VII4,dengan jumlah siswa 41 orang (22 orang laki-laki dan 19 orang perempuan). Denganparameter sikap ilmiah. Instrumen pengumpulan datanyadengan menggunakan lembarobservasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakam lembar observasimenunjukkan bahwa sikap ilmiah siswa mengalami peningkatan, rata-rata sikap ilmiahpada siklus I yaitu sebesar 65 % (kategori cukup) dan pada siklus II menjadi 80%(kategori baik). Rata-rata sikap ilmiah siswa dengan mengunakan angket mengalamipeningkatan, sikap ilmiah siswa sebelum penggunaan yaitu sebesar 69.67% (kategoricukup) sedangkan sesudah penggunaan yaitu sebesar 82.76 % (kategori baik). Ujiternormalisasi (N-gain)menunjukkan peningkatan skor sikap ilmiah siswa sesudahpenggunaan bahan ajar berbasis CTL dengan rata-rata sebesar 0.44 (kategori sedang).Darihasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis CTL dapatmeningkatkan sikap ilmiah sains biologi siswa kelas VII4 SMP Negeri 21 PekanbaruTahun Ajaran 2009/2010.

Abstract

Abstrak : This study aims to determine the quality of daily test questions made by biology teacher class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru in the 2018/2019 school year based on qualitative and quantitative analysis. This research was conducted in March 2019 to May 2019. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research instrument is a daily test question made by biology teachers consisting of four Basic Competencies, student answer sheets, a grid of daily test questions and biology’s syllabus. Analysis of the questions was done qualitatively and quantitatively.  The results showed that the analysis of questions qualitatively in terms of the suitability of the questions based on the rules of writing questions obtained very good categories. The distribution of the cognitive domains of Bloom's Taxonomy shows that daily test questions are dominated by questions in the medium category, but questions do not have a good balance between easy questions and difficult questions. Quantitative analysis which consists of analysis of the level of difficulty of items, distinguishing features, item validity and reliability shows that the questions have poor quality. This is indicated by the 103 items which were 42% rejected (42 items), 36% (38 items) were considered and the percentage of questions received were 22% (23 items).  Key words: Analysis Of Item Question, Daily Test Question Made By The Teacher, Biology

Abstract

Abstract: The research done in class VII MTs Datuk Batu Hampar Bagansiapiapi Academic Year 2015/2016 to increased study output of student using the appliction of cooperative learning type NHT (Numbered Head Together). The research is a Class Action Research (CAR) thes force two cycle including planning, action, observation dan refletion. Techniques of collecting data used were a whritten test and an observation. Parameter research is study output of student (cognition aspect (absorption and mastery learning student), affective aspect, psychomotor aspect (simulate test) and teacher activity. Cognition aspect seen by daily quiz on first cycle is 73,21% (decent) increased on the second cycle up to 80,65% (good). Mastery learning student on first cycle are 14 students (73,68%) and increased on second cycle up to 19 students (95%). Average affective aspect on first cycle is 77,20% (good) and and increased on second cycle up to 91,88% (excellent). Average psychomotor aspect (simulate test) on first cycle is 81,97% (good) and increased on second cycle up to 95,47% (excellent). Average teacher activity in learning action on first cycle is 76,67% (good) and increased on second cycle up to 94,14% (excellent). From the result of this research can concluded that the application of cooperative learning type NHT (Numbered Head Together) can increased study output of the student of class VII MTs Datuk Batu Hampar Bagansiapiapi Academic Year 2015/ 2016.Keyword : Type Numbered Head Together (NHT), IPA study output

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to produce comic media based on science literacy onbiodiversity lesson for high quality class X senior high school students. This researchwas conducted at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Riau University,Public Senior High School 8 Pekanbaru and Public Senior High School 6 Pekanbaru inNovember-February 2021. The type of research used is Research and Development(R&D) with the ADDIE research model consisting of 5 stages, namely analysis, design,development, implementation and evaluation. In this research, it is limited only to thedevelopment stage. Data collection instruments in the form of validation sheets andquestionnaires of respondents. The results of the validation of comics based onscientific literacy on biodiversity lesson for students of class X senior high school are atan average value of 3,56 with a very valid category. The result of the limited test scoreare 3,42 with a very good category. Thus, comics based on scientific literacy onbiodiversity material for students of class X of senior high school have been successfullydeveloped with very good quality and can be implemented on a wider scale.Key Words: Comic, Scientific Literacy, Biodiversity

Abstract

Abstract:The aim of this study was to determine the ability of the Student Profile Study Program FKIP Riau University Biology Education in Developing Learning Tool on Course PPL II 2013/2014. Research conducted at the University Campus Biology Education FKIP Riau in February 2015 to April 2015. This research is descriptive population in this research is the students of Biology Education FKIP Riau University. While the sample in this study are students who take courses Second Field Experience Program (PPL II) Academic Year 2013/2014 which amounted to 43 people. The research data derived from primary data obtained directly through the instrument in the form of sheets of assessment of learning tools and secondary data obtained from the document recapitulation of the value of the course PPL II Academic Year 2013/2014. Based on the research ability of students PPL II in preparing the study on subjects PPL II Academic Year 2013/2014 can be seen that the RPP showed excellent category criteria with the percentage of 95.17%, LKS demonstrate sufficient criteria categories by percentage of 62.33%, the Draft Evaluation criteria showed excellent category with the percentage of 87.78%, so that the students' ability to construct a learning tool in the course PPL II Academic Year 2013/2014 classified as excellent with the percentage of 81.7%.Key words: profiles , capabilities , biology departement students of the faculty of teacher’s training and education prepare learning device , subjects PPL I

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to development of interactive multimedia in natural science subject junior high school grade VII SMP 2013/2014. Interactive Multimedia developed using Macromedia Flash 8 software. The research was conducted in Biology Education Program FKIP University of Riau in January-June 2014. The research uses Research and Development (R & D) approaches ADDIE model and carried out until implementation phase. The subjects were Core Competence and Basic Competence of junior high school grade VII. Data collecting instruments used validation sheet and questionnaire. Data were collected by filling validation sheet by validator validator distinguished into internal and external validators. Questionnaires filled out by members of the biology teacher MGMP Pekanbaru City totaling 20 people. Validation sheet and a questionnaire filled out for each aspects: design, pedagogical aspects, aspects of the content, and programming aspects. The collected data was analyzed by descriptive statistics. The results validate the development of multimedia interactive learning is 4.43 to 4.59 (very valid). Acquisition average scores on each of these aspects, namely: designing aspect has an average score of 4.43 (very valid), pedagogic aspect has an average score of 4.55 (very valid), the content aspect has an average score of 4.59 (very valid) , aspects of programming has an average score of 4.50 (very valid). The results of the analysis of teachers' responses to the questionnaire interactive learning multimedia that has been developed gained an average of 4.67 (Good) Based on this, it can be conclution that the development of interactive multimedia in natural science subject junior high school grade VII SMP 2013/2014can be used and implemented with very valid validity criterion.Key words: research & development, interactive multimedia, natural science subject junior high school

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study is the development learning module biology ipa scientific oriented approach for improved critical thinking on the structure of plants and materials utilization in technology in class VIII SMP. The research was conducted at the campus of the University of Riau FKIP Biology Education and Student responses conducted in SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru in March to December 2015. This study uses 4-D model of development. Stages 4-D consists of four stages, namely Define (Definition Phase), Design (Stage Design), Develop (Development Phase), and Disseminate (Phase dissemination of). Data collection instruments used were sheets of validation and student questionnaire responses. Sheets validation judged by five validator which is composed of three lecturers and two junior high school teacher that consists of four aspects: the feasibility of the content, language, and kegrafisan dish. Results of the study the average score for the validation of the feasibility aspects of the content, language, serving and kegrafisan on module to obtain an average score of 3.4 with very valid category. Feasibility aspects contents obtained an average score of 3.5 in the category of very valid, linguistic aspects obtained a score of 3.4 with very valid category, next to the aspect grain obtained a score of 3.4 category is very valid, and aspects kegrafisan obtain an average score of 3, 3 categories are very valid. While the average score of students' responses to a questionnaire developed module is 3.4 to excellent category, out of 20 students in mind that 14 students responded very well to the module-oriented scientific approaches and 6 students responded well to the module-oriented approach scientifically developed. It was concluded that biological science learning modules oriented scientific approach that has been developed can be used and tested by teachers as an alternative in learning activities.Keywords: Critical thinking, Development, Module, Scientific Approach

Abstract

Abstract: Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) is a conceptual framework that shows the relationship between three kinds of knowledge needed by the teacher or prospective teacher including technological knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, and content knowledge. The research putposes was to knowed the quality of workbook of Content Knowledge (CK) for Stregthening Teacher of Biology Competencies. The workbook was developed from essential indicator of Teacher Biology Competency Test. Design, develop, simulation and validation of workbook by internal validator conducted at Biology Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University of Riau. External validation and second validation of the workbook is in MGMP Biology SMA Pekanbaru. Workbook validated on four aspects include format, content, illustrations and language. The result of format aspect is 3,42 with very valid categories, content is 3,40 with very valid categories, ilustration is 3,40 with very valid categories, and language is 3,44 with very valid categories. The result of whole aspecs are 3,41with very valid categories that meaning the workbook can be used as a learning resource by the teachers to improve content competencies and learning proces.Keywords: Biology Teacher, Content Knowledge, Workbook.

Abstract

Abstract : The research was conducted to investigate diversity insectpollinatorsinlong beans (Vygna cylindrica) agricultural land Pekanbaru City in February to June,2014. Research results are used to development of instructional media in the form oflearning modules, student worksheet and interactivemediaofthe results ofthe inventoryofinsectpollinators.This research was carried out by two stage that is the field researchstage and media development stage. The research was conducted at 3 locationsobservation using total sampling at each station. Station I: located in the Tenayan RayaDistrict, Seroja Kulim Street. Spacious long beans gardenrange between ± 60x 40meters. Station II: located in the Rumbai District, Palas Village, Tengku Ibrahim StreetSpacious long beans garden ±60x 40meters.Station III : located in the Tampan District,Bina Widya Street, faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau. Spacious longbeansgardenrange between±25x 30 meters the inventory of insect pollinators andenvironmental physical parameters include temperature, humidity and light intensity.The results showed that there are seven species of insect pollinator sare found in thelong beans (Vygna cylindrica) agricultural land Pekanbaru City. Belonging to 6 familiesand 3 orders that the Order Hymenoptera Family Anthporidae (1 species), FamilyApidae (2 species), Family Pesvinae (1 species). Order Diptera Family Syripidae (1species) and Order Lepidoptera Family Lycanidae (1 species). temperatures rangedbetween from 25.4 to 31.9 OC, humidity ranged between 69-84% and light intensityranges from 1673.2 to 3173.5 all physical environmental factors are still within therange of tolerance. Results of the study can be used as a source of learning namelylearning modules, student worksheets and interactive media on the concept ofinteraction patterns of living creatures in Junior High School.Key Word: Type Insect Pollinator, Bean, Learning Resources.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a descriptive research that aims to produce learning module for students class x hight school. The subject of this research is competency the basis (KD) 3.2 hight school class x : the analyze various levels of biodiversity in Indonesia along with the threat preservation. Research conducted at FKIP Riau University and SMAN 1 XIII Koto Kampar in September to November 2017. This research is a development research with ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate) and just made to the stage of development. Data collection begins with local biodiversity observations of spesies (plant and animals), which are widely present around student learning environments, including the diversity of gene, species, and coomunitas/ecosystem levels. Data observations biodiversity based local potential will be used to design a learning modules biodiversity. Further data was collected by the validation and trial. Validation aims to see useful module from expert opinion in the field of material of the existing in learning modules. While the trial aims to see useful module to analyze the questionnaire students’ responses. Data obtained from the analysysis of the results obtained a score all modules obtain an average score 4.33 by category is invalid. Consists of aspects of the content presented obtain an average 4.46 by category very valid, aspacts of the languege obtained averange score of 4.23 by category very valid, and aspacts graphics design obtain ab average score of 4.33 by category is invalid. Average value response 20 students to the module developed on learning 1 is 4.24, learning 2 average score of 4.20, and at the learning modules 3 ie with an average score of 4.24 by category very good.Keywords: Research Development, Learning Modules, Biodiversity Potential Local.
