Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the existence of several children who were born less fortunate like children in general, where they were abandoned by their parents when they were born (died) and some were forced to leave their parents due to a lack of economic life, so that with the presence of the board of directors as foster parents for children who play a role in every aspect of children's lives, especially in terms of forming independent characters in children from an early age. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of the administrators of the Pekanbaru Insan Permata Orphanage in forming an independent character. This study uses qualitative methods and data collection techniques that researchers do are observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the role of the administrators of the Pekanbaru Insan Permata Orphanage in forming an independent character has been carried out well, which can be seen from the efforts and efforts made by the orphanage to always try to guide, teach, instill religious values to God. The Almighty and strives for the best for the children, although there are still some obstacles faced by the administrators such as the differences in background when entering the orphanage, the character, age and culture that exist in each child at the Insan Permata Pekanbaru Orphanage so that it returns to each individual each child for everything he does, but still in the teachings and guidance of the administrator.Key Words: Role, Orphanage Manager, Independent Character.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the existence of groups of friends at school. This will cause students to spend more time with their friends, of course this will create the same perception among students about learning, it is undeniable that students about will equal their group of friends in all respects if good peers will be good also a students and vice versa. If students have peers who have low levels of motivation, students who have relationships with their peers will certainly have the same behavior and follow suit. The problem formulation of this research is how the influence of peers on the learning motivation of students SMAS Al Huda. The purpose of this study was to find out how the influence of peers on students motivation at SMAS Al Huda Tampan District Pekanbaru City. Practical benefits for researchers is to increase knowledge, insigt and understanding of the factors that can affect student learning motivation, then it can be applied when the author becomes a teacher or parent. The population of this study were all students of SMAS Al Huda totaling 229 students. The sample in this study was 57 people with the sampling technique used, namely proportional random sampling, then random sampling. Data collection methods are questionnaires, observations, interview and documentation. Data processing with quantitative descriptive analysis using a simple linear regression formula assisted by the SPSS version 23 application. Based on the results of research on the influence of peers on the learning motivation In students of SMAS Al Huda Tampan District Pekanbaru City, it can be concluded that there is an influence of peers on the learning motivation in students of SMAS Al Huda Tampan District Pekanbaru City which is 26,1%.Key Words: Influence, Peers, Learning Motivation

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by facts in the field that show the number of street children roaming in Pekanbaru City. Their presence at every intersection of red lights in the middle of the city seems to be a common sight. The formulation of the problem in this study is How is the role of social services to the handling of street children in Pekanbaru City. The purpose of the research is to find out the role of social services to the handling of street children in Pekanbaru City. According to Riau Province Regional Regulation No. 13 of 2013 Paragraph 1 Article 14 concerning the Protection of Basic Rights of Street Children are children whose lives are irregular by spending most of their time outdoors to earn a living on the streets or in public places. This research method is qualitative, the data collection instrument used is observation, interview and documentation. Respondents in this study numbered 7 people, 2 social services and 5 street children. Sampling techniques using Purposive sampling and Accidental sampling. The result of this study is pekanbaru city social service in carrying out its duties has not fully run in accordance with the indicators contained in Riau Regional Regulation No. 13 of 2013 on Basic Rights of Children. Of the 6 indicators (Health, Education, Mental and Spiritual Social Guidance, Social Rehabilitation, Mentoring and Legal Assistance) only four indicators have been implemented, namely Social Guidance, Social Rehabilitation, Mentoring and Social Assistance. Meanwhile, two other indicators, namely Health and Education have been implemented but not yet maximized. This can be seen from the unsuccessful social services handling street children so that they return to the streets.Key Words: Street Children, Social Service, Children's Basic Rights

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by online learning on student interest in MAN 4 Pekanbaru, this online learning certainly has an impact on student interest in MAN 4 Pekanbaru. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an effect of online learning on student interest in MAN 4 Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of online learning on student interest in MAN 4 Pekanbaru. The population in this study were all students of MAN 4 Pekanbaru, totaling 274 students consisting of 10 classes, 20% of the population will be taken from the population so that 55 students are the sample in this study, taking 20% of the population because it is impossible for the entire population to be sampled. In this study, the sampling was determined by proportional random sampling technique. This sampling technique was used to avoid injustice. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires, and interviews, in processing data the researchers used quantitative research where the data obtained would be processed with the help of SPSS version 16. 95% confidence level and 5% significant so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means online learning has an effect on student interest in MAN 4 Pekanbaru. The coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.518, which means the effect of online learning on interest in learning is 51.8% so that there is a significant influence between learning on student interest in MAN 4 Pekanbaru, while the remaining 48.2% (100%-51.8% ) is influenced by other variables not examined in this study or influenced by other factors outside the X variable.Key Words : Influence, Online Learning, Student Interests.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the importance of professional competence with the results of student learning development. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an influence of the professional competence of Civics teachers on the results of student learning development at SMPN 1 KubuBabussalam. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the professional competence of PPKn teachers on the results of student learning development at SMPN 1 KubuBabussalam. This type of research used quantitative research. The population in this study were all students at SMP N 1 KubuBabussalam as many as 314 people with a total sample of 76 students. The technique used in sampling is the Slovin formula. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire / questionnaire, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique that the researcher uses is simple linear regression. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence of teacher professional competence on student learning development outcomes, meaning that every time there is an increase in teacher professional competence, there will also be an increase in student learning development outcomes in a better direction. This is reinforced and supported by a significance smaller than the alpha value, which is 0.007 <0.05, meaning that the professional competence of teachers has a positive and significant effect on the results of student learning development at SMPN 1 KubuBabussalam, RokanHilir, RokanHilir. Furthermore, it can be seen that t count is greater than Fcount is greater than Ftable (7.748>3.96) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, indicating that teacher professional competence has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes at SMPN 1 KubuBabussalam, RokanHilir , RokanHilir.Key Word: Influence, Professional Competence, Learning Development Outcomes, PPKn

Abstract

Absrtact: This research is motivated by obstacles in the process of implementing education, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, the implementation of face-to-face education cannot be carried out properly, so to apply the character of responsibility during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the teacher must really work hard. in carrying out its role as a source of learning, as a demonstrator, as a guide, as a motivator, and as an evaluator. The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the role of the teacher in implementing the character of responsibility during the covid-19 pandemic at SMP Negeri 11 Dumai?. The purpose of the study was to find out how the role of teachers in implementing the character of responsibility during the covid-19 pandemic at SMP Negeri 11 Dumai. The benefits of this research can be a source of learning for all parties, especially for teachers, so that teachers can always carry out their role as teachers in the current situation. The research method is using quantitative descriptive, data collection instruments carried out in this study are questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The population in this study were all teachers at SMP Negeri 11 Dumai, totaling 23 people. The sample in this study was taken by all teachers at SMP Negeri 11 Dumai, totaling 23 people. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the analysis of the role of teachers in applying the character of responsibility during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP Negeri 11 Dumai is in the "Very Good" category. It can be shown from the results of the average percentage of the dominant respondents' answers, which is 91.7% which is in the "Very Good" category with a range of 75.01%-100%.Key Words : Teacher's Role, Responsibility Character, Covid-19 Pandemic Period.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by phenomena that arise based on observations on learning period using online and offline systems which is social media is used as learning medium. This regarding because many students are access social media in the school environment. So that the time that should be used for learning is only used to play social media, imitating bad morals, delaying study time, lazy to do activities, this causes learning outcomes being decrease. Based on pre-research results, the research shows that students play social media for about ± 20 hours even up to 24 hours / day because social media has become a necessity in everyday life. This study aims to determine The influence of Social Media on the Learning Outcomes of Seventh Grade Students at MTS Negeri 1 Kuantan Singingi. With a sample of 40 students. This research method uses quantitative descriptive analysis, the data is analyzed using simple linear regression. Based on the results of research on The influence of Social Media on the Learning Outcomes of Seventh Grade Students at MTS Negeri 1 Kuantan Singingi, it can be concluded that: There is a significant influence between social media and learning outcomes. So the hypothesis in this study is accepted, based on the coefficient of determination test (R square) of 0.374, which implies that the influence of the independent variable (social media) on the dependent variable (learning outcomes) is 61.2%.Key Words: Influence, Social Media, Students, And Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Distance Learning (PJJ) online science teacher candidate students in Pekanbaru City during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research is a survey research with the type of public opinion survey. Sampling was taken through purposive sampling method. The data collected is ordinal data via e-questionnaire (google form), through a summative response scale using a modified Likert scale with 4 answer choices. The results showed that the form of learning during the pandemic using various dominant applications were Google Meet (22.47%), Google Classroom (17.95%), Whatsapp (15.56%), and Schoology (11.70%). Online PJJ is not effectively carried out based on the availability of infrastructure, convenience and accessibility, difficulty in lecture materials, time, increased competence, and variety of courses. The implementation of PJJ is in accordance with the learning objectives because lecturers vary the use of applications, interactions run smoothly, and lecturers motivate students. The hopes of students for online PJJ are that there is a quota subsidy, the existence of priority courses, a willingness to explore various applications and the existence of sustainability after the pandemic. The cause of online PJJ is not effective is because it is not supported by several things, namely changes in the mindset and motivation of the implementers (lecturers and students), limited infrastructure such as internet networks, tools (multitasking laptops / devices), and the readiness of institutional technology (platform and management learning. system, systematic and comprehensive learning planning, effective and efficient implementation (easily accessible and learned), learning culture, e-learning pedagogy, and academic atmosphere, technical training and user level of mastery, and time management.Keyword: science pre-service teacher, pandemic covid-19, distance learning ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) online mahasiswa calon guru IPA di Kota Pekanbaru pada masa Pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey dengan jenis public opinion survey. Pengambilan sampel melalui metode purposive sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data ordinal melalui e-kuesioner (google form), melalaui summative response scale dengan menggunakan skala Likert yang dimodifikasi dengan 4 pilihan jawaban. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa bentuk pembelajaran selama pandemi menggunakan berbagai aplikasi yang dominan adalah Google Meet (22,47%), Google Classroom (17,95%), Whatsapp (15,56%), dan Schoology (11,70%). PJJ online tidak efektif dilakukan berdasarkan ketersediaan sarana prasarana, kemudahan dan aksesibiltas, kesukaran materi perkuliahan, waktu, peningkatan kompetensi, dan ragam matakuliah. Pelaksanaan PJJ sudah sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran karena dosen memvariasikan penggunaan aplikasi, interaksi berjalan dengan lancar, dan dosen memotivasi mahasiswa. Harapan mahasiswa terhadap PJJ online adalah adanya subsidi kuota, adanya prioritas matakuliah, kemauan mendalami berbagai aplikasi dan adanya keberlanjutan setelah pandemi. Penyebab PJJ online tidak efektif adalah karena tidak disupport oleh beberapa hal, yaitu perubahan mindset dan motivasi pelaksana (dosen dan mahasiswa), keterbatasan sarana prasarana seperti jaringan internet, tools (laptop/gawai yang multitasking), dan kesiapan teknologi institusi (platform dan learning manajemen system, perencanaan pembelajaran yang sistematis dan komprehensif, pelaksanaan yang efektif dan efisien (mudah diakses dan dipelajari), budaya belajar, pedagogi         e-learning, dan atmosfer akademik, pelatihan teknis dan tingkat penguasaan pengguna, dan manajemen waktu.Kata kunci: mahasiswa calon guru IPA, pandemi Covid-19, pembelajaran jarak jauh (online).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena sikap apatis dikalangan mahasiswa yang secara nyata menggerus karakter kepemimpinan mahasiswa sebagai Iron Stock atau aset tangguh yang akan melanjutkan estafet kepemimpinan pada masa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh pelatihan program Civic Education Leadership (CEL) terhadap aktualisasi nilai-nilai kepemimpinan mahasiswa Program studi PPKn FKIP Universitas Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif kausal. Penelitian ini dilakukan di program studi PPKn FKIP Universitas Riau, dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan analisis data statistik IBM SPSS Version 25. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai  (11,23) ≥  (1,65), dimana hal tersebut menunjukkan hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima. Selanjutnya diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,43. berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan pengaruh pelatihan CEL terhadap aktualisasi nilai kepemimpinan mahasiswa PPKn FKIP Universitas Riau sebesar 43% berada pada tingkat ”Sedang”.

Abstract

Adanya peranan prestasi dalam mengikuti organisasi Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa di Universitas Riau Tentang bagaimana cara pengurus membagi waktu antara belajar dengan ikut organisasi. penulis dapat merumuskan permasalahan dalam penelitian adalah menganalisis Peningkatan Prestasi Mahasiswa Selama Mengikuti Organisasi (Studi Kasus Pengurus BEM Universitas Riau Kabinet Revitalisasi Perubahan Periode 2022-2023). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah guna mengetahui prestasi akademik pengurus Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Universitas Riau. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian kali ini ada (8 Orang) yakni informan utama presiden mahasiswa dan wakil presiden mahasiswa beserta Menteri dan anggotanya. Teknis analisis data dalam penelitian kali ini adalah menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Temuan dalam penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa terdapat cara pengurus dalam membagi waktunya antara waktu belajar dengan organisasi yang sejauh ini sangat baik antara keduanya.
