Abstract

Introduction: Pregnant women living in industrial areas are exposed to higher levels of toxic substances, pollutants, and other chemicals; this is exacerbated by the pandemic conditions. Improving the nutritional status of pregnant women can be pursued through nutritional education for pregnant women. This study aimed to determine the differences in nutrition fulfilment patterns of pregnant women, before and after nutrition education.Methods: This study used quasi-experimental research with a one group pre post-test design. The samples were 51 pregnant women in industrial areas. Treatment in this study was nutrition education by empowering health cadres. The instrument of this research is an observation sheet that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used a statistical paired t-test.Results: Knowledge of pregnant women increased by 5.21% after treatment, and behaviour increased by 5.2%. The t-test showed that the the nutrition education model for pregnant women in industrial areas could significantly increase the knowledge (p-value = 0.000) and improve the behaviour (p-value = 0.000) of pregnant women.Conclusion: Nutrition education for pregnant women provided by health cadres is proven to increase knowledge of pregnant women about nutrition and behaviour of fulfilling nutrition during pregnancy in a pandemic situation. During the pandemic, pregnant women can increase knowledge related to nutrition fulfilment through the assistance of health cadres without worrying about being exposed to viruses from care providers.

Abstract

Iron is a mineral that is needed by the body that serves to synthesis hemoglobin. Iron requirement during pregnancy as a result of increased maternal blood supply. Proper iron consumption behavior will affect the levels of hemoglobin during pregnancy. From the literature, the study found six behavior of iron consumption in pregnant women. First Add the amount of food intake. Second Diversity of food intake. Third increase in iron absorption. The four serve the food appropriately. The five regularities of Fe tablet consumption. Last Drink the Fe tablet in the right way. Pregnant women should receive proper counseling on how to properly add blood tablets, as the absorption of tablets plus blood is affected by reinforcing and inhibiting factors. Tablets added blood are easily absorbed if the acidic conditions are in the duodenum and jejunum.

Abstract

Education should be able to form graduate competencies in accordance with community needs. The quality of midwives in Indonesia is still low, this is indicated by the passing of the competency test which tends to be volatile (RistekDikti, 2016). During this time the learning aspects are given fragmented and separate. Learning models are needed in accordance with the needs of the community, integrating all aspects related to community values and are dynamic according to the needs of the community. The purpose of this study was to find the effect of CoC learning methods on improving cognitive, affective and psychomotor midwifery students. This study used "quasi-experimental non-equivalent pre-post test randomized intervention studies". Each student was assessed on affective, cognitive, and psychomotor aspects in the implementation of midwifery care in the 5th semester before and after the implementation of CoC, Each midwifery student carries out CoC care for a participant. The results of the multivariate analysis using the Wilks' Lambda test showed that the greatest effect of time effect on affective variables was shown by the results of Partial Eta Squared 0.982, meaning that time could explain 98.2% of the variance in the multivariate value. Abstract

The development of an agency is the duty of a leader to make it happen. In this case the leader needs qualified subordinates or employees to realize this vision. Leaders must be able to influence their employees to be responsible for completing their work. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between leadership style and employee performance in Sidoarjo Dr Soekandar Hospital Mojosari Hospital. The design in this study was cross-sectional. This study's population were all employees of the Mojosaris hospital as many as 90 employees; the sampling technique was total sampling. The sample in this study is Mojosari hospital employees totaling 90 employees. The crosstabs test results using SPSS 25.0 showed that more dominant in using the strategic leadership style. Results can be seen that respondents with sufficient performance. The leadership style in the Moderate category was more than the leadership style in the high categories. 16 (57%) of respondents. Meanwhile, respondents with good performance. The high category's leadership style was far more than the leadership style in the medium category 47 (75%) of respondents. So it can be concluded that the better the leadership applied by the head of the hospital. The better the quality and quantity of employee performance at the hospital. In advancing the institution, cooperation between leaders and employees is needed. Leaders must be able to understand the character of employees and the conditions they face in order to create an effective leadership style. The implementation of an effective leadership style can improve the quality and quantity of employee performance.

Abstract

Tanggapan negative masyarakat tentang anak retardasi mental menimbulkan berbagai reaksi pada orang tua mereka ,seperti ada orang tua yang mengucilkan anaknya atau tidak mau mengakui anak yang mengalami retardasi mental. Disisi lain, ada pula orang tua yang berusaha memberikan perhatian lebih dan memberikan yang terbaik kepada anaknya.Mekanisme koping keluarga merupakan cara penyesuaian diri yang digunakan oleh keluarga untuk menghadapi perubahan yang diterima.Tujuan penelitian adalah Menganalisis Mekanisme Koping Keluarga yang memiliki anak Retardasi Mental di Pendidikan Khusus Negeri Seduri kecamatan Mojosari kabupaten mojokerto.Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah diskriptif yaitu suatu metode penelitian yang dilakukan dengan tujuan utama untuk membuat gambaran tentang suatu keadaan secara objektif.Populasinya seluruh orang tua yang memiliki anak retardasi mental di Pendidikan Khusus Negeri Seduri Mojosari Kabupaten Mojokerto sebanyak 62 orang tua.Sampel sebanyak 62 orang yang diambil dengan total sampling.Variabel pada penelitian ini adalah mekanisme koping keluarga yang memiliki anak retardasimental.Data di ambil dengan menggunakan kuisioner.Hasil penelitian terhadap 62 responden diperoleh data bahwa sebagian besar responden melaksanakan mekanisme koping adaptif yaitu sebanyak 49 responden (79%) sedangkan responden yang melaksanakan mekanisme koping mal adaptif hanya 13 responden (21%). Abstract

Kompetensi guru harus tetap ditingkatkan melalui berbagai bentuk pelatihan, penyuluhan, maupun pembinaan teknis lainnya. Salah satu kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru adalah kegiatan lesson study. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru-guru di MTS DARUNNAJAH Mojokerto melalui penyuluhan tentang lesson study. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan yaitu, koordinasi awal dengan guru dan pihak sekolah, kegiatan penyuluhan dan pendampingan, kegiatan evaluasi dan pelaporan. Kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar sesuai rencana. Guru yang menjadi peserta antusias dan bersemangat mengikuti kegiatan tersebut. Peserta mengharapkan ada kegiatan lanjutan berupa pelatihan sejenis untuk keterampilan lainnya.. Kata Kunci: Perangkat pembelajaran, guru sekolah, kompetensi perdagogik

Abstract

Mojokerto is an industrial city which accounts for as much as 40% of the total female employees of reproductive age in the East Java region. The health status of pregnant women in industrial areas is something that must be considered in order to produce a superior Indonesian generation. The research design used the "Quasi-experimental pre post design" method. The sample of this study was 51 pregnant women in industrial areas. Treatment is in the form of nutrition education for pregnant women after the mother has confirmed knowledge of knowledge, nutritional behavior and Hb (hemoglobin) levels. The results showed that the knowledge of pregnant women increased 73% after increasing behavior, 78% increased behavior and increased mean Hb from 11.64 to 12.14. This study proves that the nutrition education model for pregnant women in industrial areas has a positive correlation with maternal nutritional knowledge, nutritional behavior and Hb levels of pregnant women

Abstract

Clean and Healthy Behavior Program PHBS education in early childhood is very important. Children's brains were growing rapidly at that time so it would be easy to obtain PHBS educational materials. However, special materials for PAUD PHBS are not yet available. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the cultivation of the pillars of discipline, independence and responsibility for early childhood on the implementation of PHBS in schools. The research method used analytic observational and cross sectional research design. The population of this study was early childhood children aged 4-6 years who were counted in Early childhood education Al Izzah Balongmojo Puri Mojokerto as many as 104 children. The sample size was calculated using the Rao soft sample size calculator. With a margin of error of 5% and a confidence interval of 95%, a sample of 83 children was obtained. Sampling by purposive sampling method. The results showed that the difference in the implementation of PHBS before and before the cultivation of the pillars of discipline, independence and responsibility was -11.986 and the probability was (p) 0.000 then p <0.05. so it can be said that the cultivation of the character pillars of discipline, independence and responsibility in early childhood affects the implementation of PHBS in schools

Abstract

Background: Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is highly contagious and can be experienced by anyone, especially children and the elderly. In most cases, ARI is caused by virus and can heal on its own without special treatment. However, parents cannot let this condition go too long because the children will feel uncomfortable. This study aims to determine the trend of massage therapy as an alternative therapy for ARI in toddlers. Methods: This quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted in a village in Mojokerto. The sample from this study were 70 parents who had children under 5 years old who were experiencing ARI. The research instrument used has been tested for validity with results and reliability with results. Furthermore, the data was tested statistically with the Spreaman test. Result: 52% of parents provide complementary massage therapy as a complement to medical treatment for their children, 45% provide medical therapy only, the rest provide self-medication. Conclusion: Most parents assume that medical treatment alone is not enough to seek treatment for ARI in children. The wedge massage complementary therapy is an alternative to complementary medical treatment which is seen as accelerating the healing process of ARI in children.
