Abstract

Semakin beragamnya peralatan listrik yang ada, juga diiringi dengan kebutuhan sumber listrik dengan kualitas yang baik. Hal ini mengharuskan para penyedia listrik untuk dapat menjamin kualitas listrik yang diterima konsumen dalam keadaan baik. Sebab, semakin jelek kualitas daya listrik dari suatu sistem kelistrikan maka akan semakin banyak juga biaya kerugian yang digunakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan – permasalahan yang ditimbulkan. Keadaan yang baik pada sisi tegangan adalah ketika nilai tegangan berada pada 1 pu. Tegangan kedip merupakan salah satu faktor penyebab berkurangnya kualitas daya listrik. Tegangan kedip adalah menurunnya tegangan sistem dengan rentang 10 – 90% dalam jangka waktu 0,5 – 60 cycle. Gangguan pada sistem tidak mungkin dihindari, karena waktu terjadinya tidak dapat diketahui dengan pasti. DVR dapat digunakan untuk melakukan antisipasi pada saat terjadinya gangguan tegangan kedip. DVR merupakan konverter elektronika daya yang didesain untuk menjaga tegangan beban dari gangguan dengan cara melakukan injeksi tegangan dari batterai ke sistem. Sistem kontrol pada DVR ini menggunakan fuzzy logic controller untuk melakukan injeksi tegangannya. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan pemodelan sistem kontrol DVR untuk melakukan pemulihan terhadap tegangan yang hilang akibat gangguan dari tegangan kedip. Simulasi dilakukan pada beban aktif 250 KW dan reaktif 40KVAR di mils unit 6 sistem distribusi PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Serang Power Plant dengan gangguan hubung singkat. Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang sedang melanda Indonesia membuat masyarakat mengalihkan hampir seluruh aktivitasnya ke daring, tidak terkecuali bagi para wanita di Kota Cilegon. Wanita yang saat ini tidak hanya berperan dalam rumah tangga membutuhkan internet untuk menunjang aktivitas daringnya. Dalam penelitian ini akan dilihat peningkatan dan pemetaan aktivitas berbasis daring yang dilakukan para wanita di Kota Cilegon selama masa social distancing. Metode yang dilakukan adalah survei. Survei dilakukan kepada 100 wanita di Kota Cilegon yang berumur minimal 15 tahun. Variabel yang digunakan untuk survei kali ini antara lain peningkatan aktivitas berbasis internet, aktivitas yang dilakukan dalam penggunaan internet, dan karakteristik ekonomi, sosial dan demografi. Hasil survei dan uji paired sample t-test, uji Wilcoxon signed rank, dan analisis faktor menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan internet oleh wanita meningkat pada masa social distancing dibandingkan masa sebelum social distancing dan aktivitas yang sering dilakukan oleh wanita semenjak social distancing antara lain komunikasi, web browsing, streaming, unduh, e-mail, unggah, dan e-learning.

Abstract

 PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk's (CAP) electric power system uses 3 types of power lines, namely, PLN, GTG (Gas Turbine Generator) and STG (Steam Turbine Generator) lines. Disturbances in the electrical power system can occur either small disturbances or large disturbances (blackout). One of the optimization strategies and protection systems to avoid disturbances and maintain the stability of the electric power system is by means of load shedding. Load Shedding is carried out using a Quantum Modicon Schneider PLC with Magelis HMI display on the ISP (Interconnection Synchro Panel) or panels connected to each generator. With some disturbances that caused some losses to the Company PT Chandra Asri Tbk. mentioned above, it is offered to solve the problem by providing a variety of load shedding scenarios. In this study, a simulation of the calculation and variation of load shedding was carried out. Keywords: load shedding, PLC, HMI

Abstract

Pada masa pandemi Covid-19, pemberlakuan pembatasan kegiatan fisik di luar rumah dilakukan oleh pemerintah. Kebijakan tersebut merupakan upaya yang dilakukan untuk mencegah terjadinya penyebaran virus Covid-19 yang lebih luas. Pembatasan tersebut menyebabkan kegiatan masyarakat di luar rumah harus dibatasi. Hampir semua kegiatan di masa pandemi harus dilakukan di dalam rumah, sehingga kebersihan dan kesehatan di dalam rumah mesti diperhatikan. Namun, belum banyak masyarakat yang mengetahui bagaimana caranya membuat hunian menjadi bersih, sehat, dan terbebas dari Covid-19. Beberapa kegiatan sosialisasi yang dilakukan yaitu pembuatan spanduk informasi, mengenalkan vaksinasi, pembagian masker dan hand sanitizer gratis, serta penyemprotan disinfektan di lingkungan rumah warga. Tempat dilakukannya sosialisasi yaitu di Desa Paninggilan Utara, Kecamatan Ciledug, Kota Tangerang. Harapan terbesar dari kegiatan ini yaitu masyarakat dapat melanjutkan kebiasaan baik yang telah diperkenalkan agar menciptakan hunian yang sehat sehingga masyarakat tetap produktif melakukan berbagai kegiatan di dalam rumah namun tetap aman dari Covid-19. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the government imposed restrictions on physical activities outside the home. This policy is an effort to prevent the broader spread of the Covid-19 virus. These restrictions cause people's activities outside the home to be limited. Almost all activities during a pandemic must be carried out at home, so cleanliness and health in the house must be considered. However, only a few people know how to make their homes clean, healthy, and free from Covid-19. Some socialization activities included making information banners, introducing vaccinations, distributing free masks and hand sanitizers, and spraying disinfectants around residents' homes. The place where the socialization was carried out was in Paninggilan Utara Village, Ciledug District, Tangerang City. The primary purpose of this activity is that the community can continue the good habits introduced to create healthy housing so that people can remain productive in carrying out various activities at home while remaining safe from Covid-19.

Abstract

Children prefer to play games on gadgets rather than explore the environment around the house. This situation is exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic that is happening around the world, which has caused the children's play environment to become more limited. The passivity of these children is, of course, very bad for their development and growth. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce fun activities that can be done around the house to avoid the coronavirus. The activity introduced in this community service activity is farming in polybags. The plant introduced was ginger because this plant has many benefits, including as a body warmer. This service activity received a positive response from the children who took part in the event. This introductory activity is expected to raise children's interest in simple farming around the house. Saat ini anak-anak lebih memilih untuk bermain game di gawai dibandingkan dengan melakukan eksplorasi lingkungan di sekitar rumah. Keadaan itu diperparah dengan pandemi Covid-19 yang terjadi di seluruh dunia, yang menyebabkan lingkungan bermain anak menjadi lebih terbatas. Kepasifan anak-anak tersebut tentunya sangat berdampak buruk bagi perkembangan maupun pertumbuhan mereka. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengenalan aktivitas yang menyenangkan sekaligus dapat dilakukan di sekitar rumah agar terhindar dari virus korona. Aktifitas yang diperkenalkan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah bercocok tanam di polibag. Tanaman yang diperkenalkan yaitu jahe karena tanaman tersebut memiliki banyak manfaat, di antaranya sebagai minuman penghangat tubuh. Kegiatan pengabdian ini mendapat respo  positif dari anak-anak yang mengikuti acara. Kegiatan pengenalan ini diharapkan dapat memunculkan ketertarikan anak-anak untuk bercocok tanam secara sederhana di sekitar rumah.

Abstract

Electrical capacitance volume tomography (ECVT) is a method for determining the volumetric distribution of dielectric permittivity using the capacitance measurement principle. The determination of volumetric distribution of dielectric permittivity is important to regulate a process in which quantity of materials is a decisive parameter such as in industrial setting or vehicle sub-system. ECVT is a relatively fast and non-radiating method to observe spatio-temporal phenomena inside a process, making it a valuable technique. Sensor modelling and image reconstruction study are essentials in designing a suitable imaging system based on measurements from plurality of electrodes providing higher degree of information being observed. This research conducts sensor modelling with varying fuel objects in the interior of a cylindrical vessel. The capacitance value was simulated between a combination of eight electrodes mounted encapsulating the tube. Each measured electrode was given an excitation voltage as a source of an electrostatic field, which interacts with the object’s presence. The objects in this study are benzene, kerosene, and diesel fuel, along with reference dielectric values of water and air. Image reconstruction used the linear back projection (LBP) method. Matrix operations between sensor’s pre-defined sensitivity and capacitance values produce data that can be plotted into an image estimating the true distribution of objects. Capacitance values from modelling are proportional to the actual object’s permittivity. The reconstruction provides qualitative information on the proportion of fuel in the vessel based on the capacitance value. Images have distinct values according to the presence of different objects under investigation. The research contribution is a proof of concept in using capacitance tomography to detect different fuels inside an enclosed tank at modelling stage. In addition, this study serves as a guideline for implementing a non-invasive and non-intrusive system for determining proportions of materials of interests inside a certain setup.

Abstract

Flooding in rice fields often occurs as a result of overflowing rainwater or overflowing river water. In addition, irrigation also often overflows and inundates farmers' fields. The way that is often done to overcome this is usually done every few minutes to the fields. An automatic tool is needed that can be used to be able to monitor water level activities that occur in rice fields. In that case farmers can make the best and timely decisions when rice fields will be flooded. The design process of this tool is carried out in 2 stages, namely the area analysis stage and the design of the tool design which will be carried out with the characteristics of rice fields in Teluklada village. The Water Level Measuring Tool as a Flood Indicator in Rice Fields is designed as a flood indicator by utilizing the HCSR04 sensor work function to detect water rise that occurs. Residents who received the notification message were surprised when they first received the flood warning message and felt helped by the presence of this water level measuring instrument because it can monitor rice fields remotely.
