Abstract

This study was conducted to assess the response to the cacao seeds organic liquid fertilizer applications (POC) NAP combined with some kind of fruit cacao accessions. The study was conducted in the Pattimura Rt. 38 Recognize Great Edinburgh, starting on May 1, 2014 until July 31 2014 cocoa seedlings were grown in growth media in a polybag. The design environment used in this study was a randomized complete block design (RAK) 4x6 factorial with four replications. POC applications NAP consists of 4 (four) degree, that is; 0 ml / L of water (control), 10 ml / L of water, 20 ml / L of water, and 30 ml / L of water. Factor Type Accession Cocoa (V) consists of 6 (six) level, ie; ¬V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, and V6. The variables used are the RPA response, LTR, and LAB age 14 to 70 days after planting. The results showed no interaction of a combination of the application (POC) NAP with some kind of fruit cacao accessions against RPA, LTR, and LAB age 14 to 70 days after planting. Application of 10 ml per liter of POC NAP accession combined with large red fruit (V3) shows the RPA, LTR, and the highest LAB.Key words ;  cocoa seeds, POC NAP, Accession fruit, RPA, LTR, and LAB

Abstract

An experiment  was conducted to study NPK (20-6-6) at different concentration in growth increasing the Hevea seedling in Pattimura street, Jambi, from April to July 2008. Hevea seedling (PB 260) was grown in polybag, then NPK fertilizer was sprayed on the leaf surface twice a month in different concentration, namely 0.2 %, 0.4 %, 0.6 %, 0.8 %, and control. The experiment was carried out in completely randomized design with 3 replication. Response variable was RGR, NAR, and LAR from 14 to 70 days after planting. The result of  the experiment indicated that NPK (20-6-6) fertilizer significantly affect the RGR,NAR, and LAR Hevea seedling. The giving of NPK (20-6-6) is 0.2 % and control showed the lowest RGR , NAR, and LAR. The spray on concentration 0.6 % showed the highest RGR, NAR, and LAR , it was extremely different on concentration 0.2 % and 0.4 % and concentration 0.8 % was not significant with the concentration 0.6 % Key words ; Hevea seedling, (PB 260) ,  NPK (20-6-6), RGR, NAR, LAR

Abstract

An experiment was conducted to study the influence of table salt (NaCl) and nitrogen fertilizer (Urea) at different dosages in growth increasing the Hevea seedling in Pattimura street, Jambi, from 5 July to 5 September 2013. Hevea seedling (PB 260) was grown in polyethylene bag.The experiment was carried out in completely randomized design with 3 replications. NaCl treatments arranged in five levels that is ; 0,0 g, 12,5 g, 8,5 g,  24,5 g, and 30,5 g. NaCl solution was poured to the medium surface 10 days after planting. Nitrogen fertilizer consist of four levels, i.e. ;  0,0 g, 7,0 g , 14,0 g , and 21,0 g. The fertilizer was given in three steps ; 5 , 30, and 60 days after planting. This three steps had the same urea weight. Response variable was SRR, RGR, and NAR from 14 to 70 days after planting.The experirnent result showed that NaCl effects interaction with nitrogen effects in SRR, RGR, and NAR. NaCl with nitrogen treatments could cause the increase of SRR, RGR, and NAR.The giving of 30,5 g NaCl with 7 – 14  g urea  showed the highest SRR, RGR, and NAR , it was not differernt on application 24,5 g NaCl.Key words ; Hevea seedling (PB 260) , NaCl, Urea, SRR, RGR, NAR

Abstract

ABSTRACTLemongrass (Cymbopogon nardus) is a plant that produces citronella essential oil. Development of lemongrass as a superior commodity requires appropriate cultivation technology to support its growth and development. Fertilization is an important part of plant growth. Fertilizer affects leaf production and the amount of essential oil. In addition to providing nutrients, organic fertilizers can also improve soil conditions, especially soil by having limiting factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the growth of citronella seedlings in polybags against solid compost with different doses. The research was conducted from December 2019 to February 2020 at Campus II, Batanghari University (Pijoan). The design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with one treatment factor, namely solid compost; s0 (3 kg ultisol soil per polybag (control)), s1 (3 kg ultisol soil + 45 g solid fertilizer per polybags), s2 (3 kg ultisol soil + 90 g solid fertilizer per polybag), s3 (3 kg ultisol + soil 135 g of solid fertilizer per polybag). Each experimental level was repeated 3 times so that there were 12 experimental plots. The observational data were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by the DNMRT test at the α level of 5%. The results of this study were that the application of solid compost had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, leaf wet weight, number of roots and stolons, and number of citronella seedlings in polybags. Solid compost with a dose of 135 g in 3 kg of ultisol soil resulted in an increase in height of 62.22%, number of leaves 69.3%, wet leaf weight of 217.8%, number of roots and stolons 5.7% and number of tillers 215% compared without application of solid compost                                                                                      .Key words: solid Compost, lemongrass, Ultisol ABSTRAKTanaman serai wangi (Cymbopogon nardus) merupakan tanaman penghasil minyak atsiri serai wangi.Pengembangan tanaman serai wangi sebagai komoditas unggulan diperlukan teknologi budidaya yang tepat untuk mendukung pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya. Pemupukan merupakan salah satu bagian penting dalam pertumbuhan tanaman. Pupuk berpengaruh pada produksi daun dan banyaknya minyak  atsiri. Pupuk organik selain dapat menyediakan unsur hara juga dapat memperbaiki kondisi tanah terutama tanah dengan memiliki faktor pembatas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan bibit serai wangi di polibag terhadap pemberian pupuk kompos solid dengan dosis yang berbeda. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2019 sampai Februari  2020 di kampus II Universitas Batanghari (Pijoan). Rancangan yang di gunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) satu faktor perlakuan, yaitu pupuk kompos solid; s0 (tanah ultisol 3 kg per polibag (kontrol)), s1 (3 kg tanah ultisol + 45 g pupuk solid per polibag), s2 (3 kg tanah ultisol + 90 g pupuk solid per polibag), s3 (3 kg tanah ultisol + 135 g pupuk solid per polibag). Setiap level percobaan diulang 3 kali sehingga ada 12 plot percobaan. Data pengamatan dianalisis menggunakan analisis varian dilanjutkan dengan uji DNMRT pada taraf α 5%. Hasil penelitian pemberian pupuk kompos solid berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, berat basah daun, jumlah akar dan stolon, dan jumlah anakan bibit serai wangi di polybag. Pupuk kompos solid dengan dosis 135 g dalam 3 kg tanah ultisol menghasilkan peningkatan tinggi 62,22%, jumlah daun 69,3%, bobot daun basah 217,8%, jumlah akar dan stolon 5,7% dan jumlah anakan 215% dibanding tanpa pemberian pupuk kompos solid. Kata kunci: pupuk kompos solid, serai wangi, ultisol

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of rubber tapping type on the results and quality of PB 260 clone latex. The design of this study uses complete random desingn, consisting of 2 treatments, namely T1 treatment (down ward tapping type) and T2 treatment (Type up ward tapping). Each treatment was repeated 3 times so that the number of experimental plots was 6 plots. Where the treatment is placed randomly in plots and blocks as replications. For each plot of the experiment consists of 10 plants, so that the total number of plants is 60 plants. The results of research show that the lower tapping type gives more results but the quality of latex is not different from the type of tapping up.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the content of available P in Ultisol soil with various land conditions and its relationship with oil palm productivity. The research was carried out at the Afdeling IV Rimsa PTPN VI Persero Oil Palm Plantation in Pematang Sapat Village, Rimbo Bujang District, Tebo Jambi Regency, and soil analysis in the Jambi BLHD laboratory. The plants used are 16 years old. The study was carried out from May to June 2021. The environmental design used was a 1 (one) factor randomized block design, with the treatment design being land conditions (k) consisting of: k1 = flat land (slope < 5%) , k2 = sloping land (slope >10 % ), and k3 = land that is inundated when it rains. Each treatment was repeated 3 times, so that 9 research units were obtained. Each research unit has 3 observation sample points so that the number of observation sample points is 27 points. Parameters observed include; P-available, Al–dd, Fe, pH, soil characteristics, and productivity of oil palm plants. Plant productivity data were analyzed by analysis of variance and continued with further test of DNMRT 5% and data of available P, Al–dd, Fe, pH, soil characteristics were analyzed descriptively and tabulated. The results showed that there were differences in soil texture, soil color, available P, Al–dd, Fe, and soil pH from the 3 observed land conditions. There were differences in oil palm productivity on slopes <5% (k1) (27,756 tons- 1ha-1th-1) with land productivity with a slope of > 10% (k2) which is 19,032 tons-1ha-1th-1. The productivity of oil palm land that is inundated when it rains (k3) is 30.804 tons-1ha-1th-1, which is not significantly different from land with a slope of <5%. Keywords: oil palm land, P-available

Abstract

Multiple cropping merupakan sistem budidaya tanaman yang dapat meningkatkan produktivitas lahan. Peningkatan ini dapat diukur dengan besaran Nisbah Kesetaraan Lahan (NKL) atau LER (land Equivalent Ratio). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman tumpang sari Pinang dengan Kelapa Dalam, menentukan nilai nisbah kesetaraan lahan (NKL) serta menentukan model tanam tumpang sari Pinang dengan Kelapa Dalam yang baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelurahan Sabak Ulu serta di desa Siao Dalam kecamatan Muara Sabak Timur kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur dengan kondisi lahan gambut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey pada lahan-lahan petani yang ditanami Pinang monokultur dan Pinang tumpang sari dengan Kelapa Dalam. Parameter yang diamati meliputi jarak tanam (m), tinggi tanaman (m), lingkar batang (cm), umur mulai produksi (th), produktivitas buah Pinang dan Kelapa secara tumpang sari (ton per ha), produktivitas buah Pinang dan Kelapa tunggal (ton per ha), dan produktivitas lahan (NKL). Untuk menjawab hipotesis yang diajukan, data dianalisis secara deskriptif dalam bentuk tabulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan produksi tanaman Pinang dan Kelapa Dalam sistem tunggal lebih besar dari sistem tumpang sari. Namun berdasarkan perhitungan nilai nisbah kesetaraan lahan (NKL) menunjukan nilai lebih dari 1, menggambarkan bahwa sistem tumpang sari lebih menguntungkan dibandingkan sistem tunggal. Kata kunci ; produksi tanaman, nisbah kesetaraan lahan, tumpang sari

Abstract

Tanah ultisol memiliki unsur hara tersedia dan bahan organik yang sangat rendah, sehingga diperlukan pemberian input bahan organik untuk mendukung suplay unsur hara guna pertumbuhan tanaman kakao.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk kompos solid dengan takaran yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kakao. Rancangan lingkungan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dan rancangan perlakuan yaitu pemberian pupuk kompos solid yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan yang berbeda yaitu :s0 : tanah Ultisol 3 kg per polibag (kontrol), s1 : 110 g pupuk solid per polibag + 3 kg tanah Ultisol, s2 : 135 g pupuk solid per polibag + 3 kg tanah Ultisol, s3 : 160 g pupuk solid per polibag + 3 kg tanah Ultisol. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam, dilanjutkan dengan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan (DNMRT) pada taraf α 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian pupuk kompos solid dengan takaran yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap diameter batang, dan berpengaruh tidak nyata pada tinggi tanaman, berat kering tajuk, berat kering akar, nisbah tajuk akar, dan indeks kualitas.

Abstract

Oil palm planting can be done between rows of jelutung plants, resulting in optimal growth and productivity of the land. The research will be conducted in Betara and Bram Itam Kanan , Tanjung Jabung Barat, with the condition of peatland will be conducted from Mei to Juny 2019. This study aims to determine the value of land equivalent ratio (LER) in the intercropping of oil palm with jelutung plants. This research used survey method on farmers' land planted monoculture and intercropping with oil palm and jelutung plant. The location of this study was chosen intentionally because at these locations there is a cultivation of intercropping with oil palm and jelutung plants. The observed variables are; planting distance (m), stem height (m), stem circumference (cm), leaf color, age of production (years), productivity of the oil palm and jelutung plants in intercropping (ton), and land productivity. To answer the proposed hypothesis, the data obtained in the field is done statistical analysis with Z test and descriptive method in the form of tabulation. The results showed that the production of oil palm and Jelutung monoculture system cropping were more than polyculture system cropping, but based on the calculation of the value of land equivalent ratio (LER), that value was > 1 (1.4).

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Oil Palm Plantation of PT. Inti Indosawit Subur (PT.IIS), Tanjung Benanak, Merlung, Tanjung Jabung Barat from 20 January to 20 March 2021. This study aims to determine the response of oil palm seedling growth to super bionic liquid fertilizer at certain concentrations in the main nursery. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with super bionic liquid fertilizer treatment consisting of 5 levels, namely; s0 = control, s1 = 3 cc liter-1 super bionic liquid fertilizer per seedling, s2 = 6 cc liter-1 super bionic liquid fertilizer per seedling, s3 = 9 cc liter-1 super bionic liquid fertilizer per seedling, and s4 = 12 cc liter-1 super bionic liquid fertilizer per seedling. Parameters observed were plant height (cm), stem diameter (cm), shoot dry weight (g), root dry weight (g), and root-shoot ratio at 8 WAP. The research data were analyzed using analysis of variance, if it had a significant effect, then continued with Duncan's Multiple Distance Test (DNMRT) at the 5% level. The results showed that the application of super bionic liquid fertilizer had a significant effect on stem diameter, shoot dry weight, root dry weight and had no significant effect on plant height and root-shoot ratio. The application of super bionic liquid fertilizer with a concentration of 9 cc liter-1 resulted in an increase in plant height of 15.38%, stem diameter 23.78%, shoot dry weight 100%, root dry weight 71.56%, and root-shoot ratio 6.88. % compared to without super bionic liquid fertilizer (control).Keywords ; super bionic liquid fertilizer, palm oil
