Abstract

Taman Sari Sub-District, Bogor Regency has the potential for fertile soil. But these lands have not been tilled properly. Narrow housing conditions, especially for poor people, do not allow residents to plant crops. Causing the lack of consumption of vegetables; which causes residents become easily sick. In addition, there is also a lot of plastic waste, especially bottled drinking water and other things that come from tourists and fishermen who have not been processed. This condition gave rise to the idea to provide life skills training in making vertical gardens, hydroponic plants and waste management. Besides the need for makeup and haircutting skills also needed especially for orphans fostered by Yasayan Usawatun Hasanah. Community Service Activities (PkM) aims to foster community awareness of the cleanliness of the environment and empower citizens to be more creative and entrepreneurial. Therefore, in addition to the types of activities requested by the residents, UPBJJ-UT Bogor will also teach about identifying the economic value of the work done in the form of determining the cost of goods sold / production. This activity was attended by 50 orphans and it ran smoothly and successfully. Now orphans already have life skills that hope can lift their economy.

Abstract

Pelaku usaha memiliki potensi yang besar untuk memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai media untuk mempromosikan produknya guna menjangkau masyarakat dan konsumen yang lebih luas di berbagai wilayah. Hal ini dikarenakan sebagian masyarakat lebih sering mengakses media sosial dalam aktifitasnya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman pengelola kopi BUMDes Jaya Laksana dalam memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai promosi usaha. Metode pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, pendekatan kelompok, dan pendekatan individual. Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi pelaksanaan. Berdasarkan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa pengelola kopi berantusias dalam memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai promosi usahanya. Bentuk antusiasme ini ditunjukkan dengan pembuatan akun profil media sosial Instagram kopi BUMDes Jaya Laksana beserta pendampingan bagi pengelola yang akan mengelola Instagram.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the perception of UPBJJ-UT Bogor students towards the implementation of webinar tutorial learning (tuweb) as a substitute for face-to-face tutorial services (TTM) during the Covid-19 pandemic. The sample in this study was selected by random sampling technique and involved 400 student respondents. Research data were collected using an electronic questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis to describe students' perceptions of readiness and implementation during tuweb learning. The results showed that students had a good perception of the implementation of tuweb, including accessibility, device ownership, ability to use technology, ease of obtaining materials, ease of learning materials, interactivity, learning independence, and satisfaction with tutor abilities.

Abstract

Tujuan dari program ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran pentingnya inovasi kemasan, dalam mengemas produk agar lebih menarik dan melindungi produk dengan baik, serta menggunakan kemasan sesuai jenis produk. Program ini dilakukan dengan metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan dengan sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan kepada UMKM di Desa Wates Jaya yaitu Kopi BUMDES Jaya Laksana. Potensi yang dimiliki produk Kopi BUMDES Jaya Laksana sudah ada. Tapi dalam inovasi masih kurang bagus, seperti kemasan masih sangat sederhana dan kurang menarik, dan wawasan UMKM tentang pentingnya kemasan bagi suatu produk masih cukup rendah dan harga jual produk yang terlalu murah dibandingkan dengan harga pasar. Studi ini berfokus pada teknik pengemasan untuk mendukung kegiatan penjualan. Aspek lain seperti kapasitas sumber daya manusia, kemampuan manajerial, atau teknik distribusi produk bukanlah objek dari studi penelitian ini. Penelitian ini berbeda dengan penelitian sebelumnya, memantau alih inovasi kemasan  yang diterapkan oleh mitra, namun dalam program ini monitoringnya dilakukan agar mitra dapat meningkatkan harga jual produk setelah pengalihan inovasi kemasan dilakukan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the study progress of students of the Master's Program in Basic Education, at Bogor Open University. The problem in this study is to review the length of the study period taken by students, especially in working on the Master's Program Final Project (TAPM) or thesis. The method in this study uses a descriptive survey method to analyze student progress and the length of time needed by students from receiving the supervisor's decree to the BTR 1 stage, from the BTR 1 stage to the BTR 2 stage, and from the BTR 2 stage to the trial exam stage. This research will find out the length of study period needed by students in working on the final project of the master program (TAPM) or thesis. The results of this study are useful as policy proposals for accelerating student studies in the form of curriculum development, academic guidance assistance, and the determination of appropriate supervisors
