Abstract

Nurse competencies test as a screening process to ensure registered nurses and have the required competence . But now there are many students who had followed the competency test is often anxiety, worry, stress, and having difficulty doing about as prepared brief and limited time. The purpose of this study was to determine the competency test understanding, competency testing purposes, the impact of the competency test, barriers experienced during the competency test and the preparations made prior competency test .Research conducted using qualitative design with phenomenology . Technique intake of participants in this study using techniques nonprobability sampling is purposive sampling. Participants in this study were 8 people. Data were collected using a triangulation technique that is open and structured interviews, observation, and documentation. Test the validity of the data was conducted on the test the credibility, transferability test, and test depanability. The data analysis was conducted by Miller and Huberman. The results showed (1) understanding the competency test is the measurement of the ability of the nurse who visits the knowledge, skills and attitudes which passed the nurses will get STR. (2) The purpose of the nursing profession competency test is to be recognized and able to work in accordance with national standards. (3) The positive impact or excess is passed the competency test means are entitled to STR. While the weakness if not pass the competency test means it will not acquire STR. (4) Barriers experienced graduates Stella Maris Nursing DIII is the amount of time involved in completing a very short question. (5) Preparation of the face of the competency test is studying, praying, trying to continue to seek information related to the competency test early on, making it easier to solve problems at exam time.

Abstract

The habit of playing games can make children ignore homework and less reading. The excessive in playing game can interfere with daily life activities such as work, study, and other daily activities. If the game to control the behavior and daily life of a person, it can be said playstation has a negative effect (Wijayanti, 2009). This study aims to determine the influence playstation play on learning achievement in school-age children at SD. Frater Thamrin Makassar. The research design used is Observational Analytic research with Comparative Study approach that is by comparing two groups of independent variables that is long playstation play with which not long play of playstation. Duration of play determined according to standard measure that is less or more than 2 jam. Analisa bivariate done to see the influence between the independent variable of dependent variable by Mann Whitney Test. The results can be seen that the Mann-Whitney test obtained p value = 0.358 so that the value p> 0.005 and the value of Z hitung = 0.919 so that Z hitung < Z tabel (1.96) then the null hypothesis (Ho) is accepted and (Ha) rejected means no differences in learning achievement group Old and not long playstation play, it can be concluded that no influence playstation play time on the achievement of school-age children in SD. Abstract

AbstrakKeluarga perlu diberikan informasi tepat cara perawatan pasien pasca stroke di rumah. Informasi tepat tentunya meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan keluarga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh pemberian discharge planning terhadap kemampuan keluarga dalam perawatan pasca stroke di rumah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah dihasilkannya produk Modul Perawatan Pasien Pasca Stroke yang dapat dipahami dan diterapkan dengan mudah oleh anggota keluarga pemberi perawatan pasien pasca stroke (caregiver) di rumah. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan (action research) dengan model Ebbut yang terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu tahap kesatu dilakukan pengembangan ide dengan memonitoring kemampuan partisipan penelitian, Pada tahap kedua dilakukan revisi instrumen dan pelaksanaan serta monitoring kembali. Pada tahap ketiga dilakukan sama seperti tahap sebelumnya dan merumuskan pemecahan masalah yang  didapatkan dari hasil penelitian ini. Tahapan penelitian akan dilakukan dengan focus group discussion (FGD). Hasil penelitian digambarakan pada setiap FGD, yaitu pada FGD kesatu ini didapatkan hasil bahwa Ke-17 responden meminta agar modul diperbaiki terutama dari gambar dan penjelasannya. Hasil FGD kedua adalah bahwa semua caregiver  sepakat bahwa gambar dan narasi modul sudah sangat bagus. Setelah tim peneliti menjelaskan ulang modul, lalu dilatihkan kembali dengan 2  orang coba, yaitu salah satu petugas puskesmas pembantu serta 1 orang pasien yang dikunjungi ke rumahnya. Semua caregiver mulai memahami modul dan mampu menerapkannya dengan baik meskipun masih memerlukan bantuan dan pendampingan. Sedangkan hasil FGD ketiga adalah Setiap caregiver mampu melatihkan kegiatan yang telah diajarkan kepada para keluarga mereka sendiri. Membutuhkan pengulangan latihan sebanyak 2 kali sampai mereka mahir, para caregiver meminta tim peneliti untuk melakukan pendampingan beberapa kali  sampai mereka dianggap mahir dan mampu melaksanakan kegiatan tersebut secara mandiri. Para caregiver setuju dengan model dan ukuran modul, karena mudah dibaca dengan huruf yang besar dan gambar lebih jelas. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan analisis peneliti maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa para caregiver merasa mendapatakan pengetahuan baru yang lebih komplit, karena selama ini hanya sebatas melihat dan mendengar perawatan pasien stroke oleh keluarga. Selain itu modul yang dihasilkan dapat dipahami dan dipraktikkan dengan mudah.

Abstract

STIK Stella maris saat ini mengunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional dengan metode student center learning (SCL). Hal ini cukup memberatkan dosen karena tenaga dosen cukup terbatas. Dengan melihat kondisi ini, peneliti mengusulkan solusi dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran blended learning agar mahasiswa lebih banyak mendapatkan pengalaman belajar mandiri sesuai konsisi mahasiswa dan waktu yang digunakan dosen untuk masuk di kelas bisa dialihkan secara online. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis perbedaan pembelajaran metode blended learning dan metode konvensional terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar mahasiswa di STIK Stella Maris Makassar. Penelitian ini adalah jenis quasy-eksperiment mengunakan rancangan pre- post test control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu total sampling, jumlah sampel 200 mahasiswa, dibagi dalam kelompok intervensi dan kontrol. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Mann Whitney. Diperoleh hasil P=0,000;?=0,005 maka Ha diterima Ho ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan perbedaan antara metode konvensional dan blended learning. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode blended learning dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar mandiri pada mahasiswa dari pada metode konventional. Dari penelitian ini disarankan metode blended learning dapat diterapkan di STIK Stella Maris khususnya dan seluruh perguruan tinggi terutama dengan jumlah dosen yang terbatas.

Abstract

Knowledge is everything that is known based on the results of sensing and experience gained by humans. Care of stroke patients at home by the family is all actions taken by the family in order to maintain the health of stroke sufferers, such as assisting in physical activities after a stroke, dealing with personal hygiene, dealing with eating and drinking problems, compliance with treatment programs at home. This study aims to determine the effect of health education about the care of stroke patients at home on the level of family knowledge. This type of research is a pre-experimental research, with the One Group Pre-test - Post-test Design approach. The population of this study is the families of stroke patients who are in the Neurology Polyclinic in Stella Maris Hospital Makassar. Sampling uses nonprobability sampling technique, with consecutive sampling approach. The number of samples of this study were 60 respondents and data collection was carried out using a questionnaire sheet. The statistical test used was the Wilcoxon test to determine the effect of health education about the care of stroke patients at home on the level of family knowledge and the value of p = 0,000 was obtained. Based on these statistical tests it is known that the value of p <α (0.05), it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of health education about the care of stroke patients at home on the level of family knowledge. Therefore, nurses are important to provide health education about the care of stroke patients at home to the family so that family knowledge is increasing.

Abstract

Introduction; stroke is a cause of disability so that patients experience limitations in fulfilling daily living activities (ADL). Destination; developed a physical exercise model ROM to increase the independence of post-stroke patients in compliance. Method; quasi-experimental research using the one group pre and post-test design method. The sampling technique was nonprobability sampling with a consecutive sampling approach with a sample size of 18 post-stroke patients. The assessment of independence in compliance with ADL using the Bartel Index was carried out before the ROM intervention and at the end of the ROM intervention. Analysis of the effect of ROM on the independence of ADL compliance with the Wilcoxon Test. Results; showed that there was an effect of the ROM physical exercise model on the independence of post-stroke patients (p = 0.000). There was an increase in the mean independence of respondents after being given ROM physical training (44.4 ± 22.2 to 59.4 ± 16.1). Conclusion; ROM physical exercise model can increase the independence of post-stroke patients in fulfilling daily functional activities

Abstract

Konsep teori Health Belief Model (HBM) adalah teori perilaku kesehatan yang paling banyak digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perilaku dan penggunaan pelayanan. Konsep utama dari teori HBM adalah kerentanan yang dirasakan, keparahan yang dirasakan, hambatan yang dirasakan, manfaat yang dirasakan dan isyarat untuk bertindak. Melihat hal ini WHO merekomendasikan pendekatan seluruh masyarakat untuk menjangkau komunitas yang beragam, dengan mengikuti pendekatan, pemuka agama, pemangku kepentingan masyarakat serta adanya keterlibatan organisasi keagamaan untuk merancang bersama komunikasi risiko dan keterlibatan yang menarik secara budaya dan sesuai konteks. Selain adanya teori konspirasi, keamanan dan kemanjuran, hal lain yang mempengaruhi masyarakat bersedia untuk divaksin adalah beberapa berpendapat yang mengatakan bahwa vaksin tidak efektif melawan virus baru ini yang berubah dengan cepat. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan penerimaan masyarakat terhadap vaksinasi Covid-19 di Puskesmas Makkasau. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasional analitik dengan desain "cross sectional study". Penelitian dimulai dengan menentukan lokasi penelitian pada kelompok masyarakat, baik yang telah menerima vaksin covid 19 maupun yang belum. Pengumpulan data dari sampel dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner. Data yang terkumpul akan dikelompokkan dan diolah menggunakan uji statistik Chi Square dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95% (?=0,05). Hasil :  Uji chi square  menunjukkan ke empat faktor dengan nilai p lebih besar dari 0,05, yang bermakna tidak terdapat hubungan faktor-faktor tersebut dengan penerimaan masyarakat pada vaksinasi Covid-19. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menunjukkan Tidak terdapat hubungan antara usia, tingkat pendidikan, status pekerjaan, manfaat dalam melakukan vaksinasi dengan penerimaan vaksinasi Covid-19 di Puskesmas Makkasau Makassar Tahun 2022.

Abstract

Being physically disabled due to a natural disaster is a traumatic experience in a person's life that can make a person feel slumped and helpless in his life. It takes a psychotherapeutic intervention such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to foster resilience of victims of natural disasters who have physical disabilities in order to be able to bounce back, be productive, and be able to play their role again in society. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of ACT therapy on increasing the resilience of victims of natural disasters in Sigi who experienced physical disabilities. The research method used is quasy experiment with a one group pre-post test approach. The number of samples in this study was 22 respondents collected using purposive sampling techniques. This research was conducted in August-September 2022 in Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. The statistical test used is the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study showed that there was an effect of ACT therapy on increasing respondents' resilience (p=0000). In addition, this study showed that after being given ACT therapy, most respondents' resilience was in the high category (59%). This study indicates that a person who experiences a traumatic event such as a physical disability due to a natural disaster will face a difficult time in life, psychological vulnerability and the ability to cultivate low resilience. Therefore, it is important for health providers to pay attention to psychological aspects, as well as provide psychotherapeutic interventions such as ACT to victims of natural disasters, especially those who experience physical disabilities in the rehabilitative phase so that they can accept themselves, be committed, productive, and return to play their role in society

Abstract

Background: Each job has a different level of difficulty, depending on how heavy the workload is. If a person is given a light workload, then it is not a problem because it can be solved easily, but it is different if the work is considered a heavy workload, of course it has its own impact on each individual from fatigue to the onset of stress. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between workload and employee stress levels in PT. Rev. Pradana Binamulia. Methods: This research is non-experimental with quantitative methods, the type used is cross sectional with analytical observational research design. The population used is employees who work in PT. Wahyu PradanaBinamulia as many as 600 people with the number of samples taken as many as 170 respondents. The research instruments used were questionnaires from O'Donnell and Eggemeier to measure workload, and a DASS (Depression Anxiety Stress Scale) questionnaire to measure stress levels. Results: Data analysis using the chi-square test and obtained results of p <0.01 with a meaningfulness level of 5% (α=0.05) means that there is a significant relationship between workload and stress levels of PT employees. Wahyu PradanaBinamulia Conclusion: Most employees face heavy workload besides the stress level experienced by the majority of employees heavy stress.

Abstract

Introduction: Spiritual care for children is important in the care provided by nurses so that children do not feel guilty when being treated in the hospital. It is important for nurses to understand that the process of providing nursing care is bio-psycho-social and spiritual based. This study aimed to find out the relationship between knowledge, self-efficacy, and nurse behavior in the provision of spiritual care for school-age children in hospitals. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional approach with a purposive sampling technique followed by 102 nurses who cared for school-age children in a pediatric nursing room. Knowledge was measured using the Spiritual Care-Giving Scale, Self-Efficacy was measured by Burkhart Spiritual Care Inventory (BCI), and Nurse Spiritual Care Therapeutic Scale (NSCTS) to measure behavior. The data were analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, and Spearman correlation test. Results: There was no significant correlation between knowledge and behavior (p = 0.181; r = 0.133);  however, there was  a significant correlation of nurse behavior with self-efficacy (p = 0.027; r = 0.219), age (p = 0.015; r = 0.240), length of work (p = 0.021; r = 0.228), and spiritual care training (p = 0.001). Conclusion: Knowledge does not have a significant relationship with behavior. However self-efficacy, age, length of work, and spiritual care training significantly affects the nurse's behavior in providing spiritual care to school-age children in the hospital.
