Abstract

With the increasing development of technology, teachers are required to be able to master IT in learning. A variety of active and interactive learning media can motivate students in learning. This causes the need for interactive, fun, and easily accessible media. This service aims to provide knowledge and practice on making interactive learning media in the form of quizzes using PowerPoint. The results of this service got an excellent response from the teachers at SMPN 1 Waigete. With the resulting Quiz media in the form of PPT, the teachers felt that the media was beneficial and provided much knowledge that had not been obtained so far. It can be seen from the results of the questionnaire that mastery can make media quizzes using PPT 60%, while 40% still need guidance and assistance. Thus, the teachers feel that this service activity is significant to increasing their IT knowledge, and they hope that they will not stop making quizzes but can continue with other IT training because the teachers' mastery at SMPN 1 Waigete is still minimal

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the role of parents and the discipline of learning children in Watugong Village, East Alok District. This research was conducted in Kloangkoja Hamlet, Watugong Village. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques used, namely interview techniques with the number of respondents studied with 60 people. Based on the results of interviews conducted by researchers with parents in Kloangkoja Hamlet, it is said that parents have educated, protect, serving, giving attention, providing children's learning facilities, and parents as well as a place to take out hearts, recognize children's learning difficulties, guide and encourage motivating children in learning discipline. Therefore, it can be concluded that the role of parents in relationships with children's discipline in Kloangkoja Hamlet can be said to be good.

Abstract

Pupuk organik cair (POC) merupakan hasil penguraian limbah organik seperti daun kering, kulit sayur, kulit buah dan kotoran hewan yang mengandung lebih dari satu unsur hara. Penggunaan pupuk organik cair dapat memperbaiki struktur tanah sehingga cocok untuk ditanami dan lebih mendukung proses pertumbuhan tanaman dibandingkan dengan penggunaan pupuk kimia. Penggunaan pupuk kimia dapat membahayakan tanaman dan kesehatan konsumen. Upaya pencegahan dampak negatif penggunaan pupuk kimia adalah menggantinya dengan pupuk organik cair. Salah satu bahan utama dalam pembuatan pupuk organik cair adalah daun Gamal. Daun gamal diambil karena mengandung banyak unsur hara yang baik untuk tanah dan tanaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair pada daun gamal terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman kangkung darat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen, yaitu metode yang dilakukan dengan menguji kandungan pupuk tanaman kangkung darat. Berdasarkan data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian POC daun gamal berpengaruh besar terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman dan juga jumlah helai daun kangkung darat. Hasil terbaik dari pemberian POC daun gamal dari beberapa konsentrasi adalah perlakuan K3= 60%. Penelitian ini memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat khususnya dalam bidang pertanian. Pupuk organik cair daun gamal sebagai tambahan  nutrisi untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: the readiness of the science laboratory to support science learning at SMP Muhammadiyah Waipare. The formulation of the problem in this study is. Readiness of science laboratories in supporting science learning at SMP Muhammadiyah Waipare and what factors influence the utilization of science laboratories at SMP Muhammadiyah Waipare. The purpose of this study was to determine the readiness of science laboratories for science learning at SMP Muhammadiyah Waipare.  This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The data sources in this study consist of primary data sources and secondary data sources. Primary data sources are the main data obtained directly from research subjects, namely teachers, laboratory heads, and also students. Secondary data is data that is supportive in research in the form of documentation, archives from the school and related records from the school. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, documentation and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using descriptive descriptions. Based on the results of the research, it was concluded: Readiness of the Science Laboratory for Science Learning at SMP Muhammadiyah Waipare is used as a place to carry out practicum, a place to prepare tools and materials, and is also replaced with a room for learning. The Readiness of the Science Laboratory for Science Learning at SMP Muhammadiyah Waipare is good in terms of the facilities and infrastructure available at SMP Muhammadiyah Waipare. The design of the Science Laboratory is considered good, because it already has a practicum room

Abstract

Reading is one of the language skills that students must possess. The purpose of this study is to address difficulties in learning to read through multisensory methods for participants. The study was conducted at SD Inpres Lisabheto (a public elementary school), Sikka Regency. The research method employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects targeted in the study were fourth-grade students. To gather data, the researcher used observation techniques, documentation, and reading practice tests. The results of the study obtained by the researcher through the use of multisensory methods on fourth-grade students who still experienced difficulties in learning to read using visual (sight), auditory (hearing), tactile (touch), and kinesthetic (movement) sensory tools. The use of multisensory methods proved to be an improvement in the reading learning ability of fourth-grade students who still struggle with reading. The study found that implementing the multisensory approach in reading instruction had a positive impact on the reading speed of fourth-grade students at Inpres Lisabheto Elementary School. The guidance provided by the classroom teacher and researcher was effective in improving the students' ability to memorize the alphabet, spelling, combining words, and recognizing symbols in writing. The use of the multisensory approach also increased the students' confidence and motivation to become more active and interactive in their learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perceptions of coastal communities in Reroroja Village in the Utilization of mangrove ecosystem as ecotourism. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. There were 3 data collection techniques used, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. In this study there were 12 informants consisting of the mangrove forest manager, the Head of Reroroja Village, Kena RT Dusun Magelo’o, and people from Magelo’o of Magepanda District, Sikka Regency. Based on the results of the study, it can be cancluded that the perception of the people of Reroroja Village in utilizing mangrove forests as an ecotourism area is still relatively low. This is caused by the lack participation og the village community in protecting and managing mangrove forests as ecotourism. Factors that influence community perceptions are knowledge, attitudes and level of education. The community considers thet protecting the mangrove forests area in Reroroja Village in not their reponsibility but that it is already the responsibility of the management.

Abstract

Workshop Peningkatan Kompetensi Penyusunan Perangkat Pembelajaran Menghadapi kurikulum merdeka belajar bagi pendidik SMA Muhammadiyah Maumere bertujuan untuk Memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada para pendidik di SMA Muhammadiyah Maumere dalam penyusunan perangkat Pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum merdeka belajar. Hasil identifikasi permasalahan yang ditemukan selama observasi kepada mitra yaitu belum semua guru yang mengajar memahami dan merancang proses pembelajaran dengan baik sesuai dengan kurikulum yang berlaku, karena minimnya pelatihan – pelatihan yang didapatkan. Adapun metode pendekatan untuk merealisasikan program pengabdian masyarakat ini melalui beberapa tahap yaitu : 1) Tahap Persiapan terkait kebutuhan dalam pelaksanaan, 2) Tahap perencanaan Program kegiatan, 3) Tahap Pelaksanaan Program Kerja, 4) Tahap Pendampingan dan Implementasi Program Kerja, 5) Tahap Evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah berupa dokumen perangkat perangkat pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka belajar untuk SMA Muhammadiyah Maumere yang siap untuk diimplementasikan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis tumbuhan yang digunakan dalam pengobatan tradisional, dan proses pengolahan tumbuhan berkhasiat obat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan  Februari – Maret 2023 di desa Pruda Kecamatan Waiblama Kabupaten Sikka.  Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian sains dengan metode survei eksplorasi. Alat dan bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: alat tulis, buku lapangan, kamera, perekam suara, angket dan tanaman obat. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah semua spesimen tumbuhan obat dan responden yang terdiri dari tokoh adat, battra/pembuat obat, pasien dan masyarakat umum. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, triangulasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan 22 jenis tumbuhan obat yang digunkaan di desa Pruda yaitu Tinospora crispa, Elephantopus scaber, Euphorbia hirta, Azadirachta indica, Alstonia scholaris, Chromolaena odorata, Orthosiphon stamineus, Morinda citrifolia, Paederia foetida, Pluchea indica, Morus alba, Physalis angulata, Anomianthus dulcis, Gnetum gnemon , Centella asiatica, Phyllanthus niruri, Thymus vulgaris, Sonchus arvensis, Melastoma malabathricum, Erythrina lithosperma, Gynura procumbens, yang terdiri dari 15 famili. Spesies tumbuhan obat yang paling banyak digunakan di desa Pruda berasal dari Famili Asteraceae. Bagian tumbuhan yang paling banyak digunakan adalah daun. Proses pengolahan yang dilakukan masyarakat desa Pruda dengan cara yang sangat  tradisional tanpa menggunakan alat modern apapun yaitu dengan cara direbus, ditumbuk , diremas, dicelup, diperas, dikunyah, direndam, dipanaskan, dan digerus. Penggunaan ramuan oleh masyarakat desa Pruda dengan cara diminum, dioles, ditetes, dimakan dan ditempel.Kata kunci: Eksplorasi, Identifikasi,Tumbuhan Obat, Pengetahuan Lokal, Desa Pruda
