Abstract

This study aims to describe the relationship between vocabulary mastery and short story writing skills of Class IX students of SMPN 1, Guguak District, Lima Puluh Kota. This type of quantitative research using the method of population correlation in this study is a class IX. The research sample was taken using a cluster random sampling technique of 22 people. With the results of the study showed that the vocabulary mastery of Grade IX students was in the category of good qualifications with an average value of 80.45 on a range of 86-95% on a scale of 10. Second, short story writing skills are in more than adequate qualifications with an average value of 73 on a range of 66-75% on a scale of 10. Third, there is a significant relationship between the two variables because t arithmetic is greater than t table 2.3091 greater than 2,086. From the results of these correlations it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between vocabulary mastery of short story writing skills Keywords: mastery, vocabulary, writing skills, short stories

Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) poetry writing skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Payakumbuh District using conventional methods. (2) poetry writing skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Payakumbuh District using a type of quantum learning model. (3) the effect of using the quantum teaching model of quantum teaching to the poetry writing skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3, Payakumbuh District. This research is using experimental method. Data analysis shows that the quantum teaching model of quantum tandur is influential in learning to write poetry in Indonesian subjects in the experimental class. This is due to an increase in student grades which at the time of the pre-test mean value () is 67. After applying the type of quantum learning model (quantum teaching) in the learning process at post-test with an average value () is 80. This is seen from the results of the comparison of tcount with ttable (, 6798> 2,021) because tcount is greater than ttable then Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted. So, the learning outcomes of experimental class students who are taught with quantum teaching models are better than the learning outcomes of control class students who are taught using conventional methods. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Kecamatan Payakumbuh menggunakan metode konvensional. (2) keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Kecamatan Payakumbuh menggunakan model pembelajaran kuantum (quantum teaching) tipe tandur. (3) pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kuantum (quantum teaching) tipe tandur terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Kecamatan Payakumbuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kuantum (quantumteaching) tipe tandur berpengaruh dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas eksperimen. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya peningkatan nilai siswa yang mana pada waktu prates nilai rata-rata () adalah 67. Setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kuantum(quantum teaching) tipe tandur dalam proses pembelajaran pada waktu pascates dengan nilai rata-rata () adalah 80. Hal ini di lihat dari hasil perbandingan thitung dengan ttabel ( ,6798>2.021) karena thitung lebih besar dari ttabel maka Ha (hipotesis alternatif) diterima. Jadi, hasil pembelajaran siswa kelas eksperimen yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kuantum (quantum teaching) tipe tandur lebih baik dibanding hasil pembelajaran siswa kelas kontrol yang diajar menggunakan metode konvensional. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of the use of the discussion method on the writing skills of the eighth grade students' MTsN Dangung-Dangung District Five Puluh City. The method used is an experimental method. The results of the study found that learning by the discussion method affected the writing skills of the eighth grade students of MTsN Dangung-Dangung, Lima Puluh Kota. Data analysis shows that the discussion method has an effect on the skills of writing review texts. This is evidenced by an increase in the experimental class with the student score pretest time mean value ( ) is 67 after the discussion method has been applied, an increase with an average value / mean ( ) is 83. Whereas in using conventional methods students also value effect even if the increase in value is not too high. The pretest time mean value ( ) is 48. After applying conventional methods, the average value increase (mean) is 61. So the learning outcomes of students taught using the discussion method are better than the learning outcomes of students in the control class taught with conventional learning. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of family background with the learning outcomes of Indonesian students in class XI of SMA Negeri 4 Payakumbuh. This study uses the correlation method. The population in this study amounted to 163 people. The sample is 27 people. Sampling was done by clater random sampling. The results showed the average value of the family background of students was 82 with good classification. The average value of student learning outcomes is 80 with good classification. There is a significant relationship between family background and student learning outcomes. Conclusion, the family background of students is related to the results of learning Indonesian, the better the family background of students, the better results of learning Indonesian students will be. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan model reciprocal teaching terhadap keterampilan menulis teks cerita fantasi siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Kecamatan Guguak. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksprimen. Populasi penelitian siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Kecamatan Guguak yang berjumlah 156 siswa. Penarikan sampel menggunakan Teknik purposive sampling yaitu kelas VII2 yang berjumlah 25 siswa dan VII4 yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan tes yaitu tes unjuk kerja. Data dianalisis dengan uji ‘t’ dengan terlebih dahulu melakukan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa, model Reciprocal Teaching berpengaruh dalam pembelajaran menulis teks fantasi di kelas eksperimen. Hal ini dibuktikan adanya peningkatan nilai siswa, yang mana pada waktu prates nilai rata-rata/ mean (X) adalah 71,24. Setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching dalam proses pembelajaran pada waktu pascates dengan nilai rata-rata/ mean () adalah 86,68. Hal ini dilihat dari hasil perbandingan thitung dengan ttabel (5,099 > 2,064), karena thitung lebih besar dari ttabel maka H1 (Hipotesis alternatif) diterima. Jadi, pembelajaran model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching lebih baik dibanding baik digunakan untuk keterampilan menulis teks fantasi. Kata Kunci: model reciprocal teaching, menulis teks fantasi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan Model Pembelajaran CIRC terhadap keterampilan menulis artikel siswa kelas XII SMKN 1 Guguak. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksprimen. Populasi penelitian siswa kelas VII SMKN 1 Kecamatan Guguak yang berjumlah 243 siswa. Penarikan sampel menggunakan Teknik purposive sampling yaitu kelas XII2 yang berjumlah 25 siswa dan XII4 yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan tes yaitu tes unjuk kerja. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji “t” dan terlebih dahulu melakukan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil analisis menyatakan uji t (t-test) di kelas eksperimen membuktikan nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel yaitu = 3,904 > 2.064), maka Ha (hipotesis alternatif) diterima. Selanjutnya hasil uji t (t-test) dalam kelas kontrol membuktikan nilai membuktikan thitung lebih besar dari t-tabel = 4,347 > 2.064) maka Ha (hipotesis alternatif) diterima. Jadi, keterampilan menulis artikel lebih cocok menggunakan model pembelajaran CIRC dibandingkan menggunakan model konvensional. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Menulis Artikel, Pembelajaran CIRC
