Abstract

ABSTRAKPengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para perempuan yang berusia produktif mengenai kewirausahaan serta memanfaatkan peluang bisnis di era digital dan di masa pandemi, sehingga para perempuan dapat berdaya secara ekonomi. Program pengabdian masyarakat melibatkan 132 perempuan berusia produktif dari seluruh Indonesia. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap. Tahap pertama adalah memetakan usaha yang akan membantu perekonomian para perempuan. Tahap kedua adalah tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap ketiga adalah tahap evaluasi untuk memastikan para peserta dapat memiliki panduan dalam memulai atau mengembangkan usahanya. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan sebagian besar peserta (75%) memiliki motivasi yang tinggi untuk memulai dan mengembangkan usaha yang diukur dengan skala motivasi berwirausaha. Selain itu, semua peserta memandang bahwa kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat karena menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam berwirausaha. Dengan demikian, diharapkan para perempuan mampu berdaya secara ekonomi baik di masa pandemi maupun pasca pandemi. Kata kunci: era digital; kewirausahaan; pandemi; perempuan; pemberdayaan ABSTRACTThis community service aims to provide productive women with skills and knowledge regarding entrepreneurship and take advantage of business opportunities in the digital era and during the pandemic so that women can be economically empowered. This community service program involved 132 participants from all over Indonesia. The implementation of this community service program is carried out virtually or through webinars. The results of this activity indicate that after gaining knowledge and skills most of the participants have high motivation to start and develop businesses. In addition, all participants saw that this activity was very useful because it added knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship. Thus, it is hoped that women will be able to be economically empowered both now and in the future. Keywords: digital era; entrepreneurship; pandemic; women; empowerment

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of environmental performance on corporate financial performance. The method used in this research is a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study are textile companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique in this study uses purposive sampling, which is a textile company that is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and publishes financial statements in 2017-2018 and has participated in the Company Performance Rating Program. The type of data used is secondary data with the documentation data collection method from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis tool used is linear regression. Environmental performance is measured by the company's performance in the PROPER (environmental performance rating program in environmental management). Financial performance is measured by returns on assets (ROA). Based on research result, it can be concluded that environmental performance has not significant effect on the company's financial performance. This study contributes to the environmental accounting literature especially for sustainable development. This study is expected to provide considerations to further increase awareness of environmental performance by making accurate disclosure principles.

Abstract

Jember Regency is the area with the third highest population density in East Java Province, so the random blood sugar, uric acid, blood pressure, and cholesterol data obtained are able to reflect the real picture of Indonesian public health, especially in Jatimulyo Village. This study uses a prospective descriptive study, information about the patient's blood sugar, uric acid, and cholesterol profile is taken directly through a physical examination. The total data obtained from the health checks of Jatimulyo residents amounted to 26 residents. The results of the Jatimulyo residents' health checks which included blood sugar, uric acid, and cholesterol were mostly normal, while blood pressure was mostly found in the prehypertension categor

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of corporate governance on tax management which is proxied by a cash effective tax rate. The corporate governance mechanisms used are institutional ownership, audit committees, independent commissioners, and external auditors. The population in this study is manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange after the imposition of a flat tax rate of 25%, in period 2015 to 2018. This study uses purposive sampling criteria so that the samples obtained are 48 companies. The type of data used in this study is secondary data. The data analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that institutional ownership has a significant positive effect on tax management; the audit committee has no significant negative effect on tax management; independent commissioners have insignificant negative effect on tax management, and external auditors have significant positive effect on tax management

Abstract

According to recommendations from the Jember Regency Government and the results of a field survey, stunting is one of the most pressing issues facing the community, particularly in the deployment area of Kemuningsari Kidul Village, Jenggawah, Jember. As part of an activity program, the villagers of Kemuningsari Kidul will receive counseling to prevent stunting by enhancing maternal parenting and detecting pregnancy risk factors early on. This activity aims to increase pregnant women's knowledge of stunting, preventative measures, and the definition of stunting in order to eliminate confusion among mothers. It is hoped that the program will be able to reduce the incidence of stunting in Jember and prevent its recurrence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi harga saham perusahaan barang konsumsi yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Faktor fundamental terdiri dari faktor Earnings Per Share (EPS), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Tingkat Inflasi, Suku Bunga, dan Nilai Tukar Mata Uang Asing. Faktor teknikal terdiri dari Volume Perdagangan Saham dan Harga Saham Sebelumnya. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 40 perusahaan barang konsumsi yang tercatat di BEI periode 2018-2021. Dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling, diperoleh 28 perusahaan sampel. Model analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga saham secara bersamaan dipengaruhi oleh faktor fundamental dan teknikal. Secara parsial, terdapat 4 variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham, yaitu: EPS, Suku Bunga, Nilai Tukar Mata Uang Asing, dan Harga Saham Sebelumnya. Arah pengaruh keempat variabel tersebut positif, sedangkan variabel DER, Tingkat Inflasi dan Volume Perdagangan Saham sebagian tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam artikel untuk menganalisis Hubungan Laba Bersih dan Kinerja Keuangan Perusahaan melalui analisis literature review di bidang manajemen Keuangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literature dengan mereview beberapa hasil penelitian sebelumnya. Pendekatan penulisan dalam artikel ilmiah ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan penelitian kepustakaan atau library research dengan bantuan referensi terkini yang diperoleh dari pencarian kutipan Google Schoolers dan Mendeley. Berdasarkan review yang dilakukan menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara laba bersih dan kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Dimana, kinerja keuangan yang baik umumnya akan memberikan dampak positif pada peningkatan laba bersih yang diperoleh perusahaan. Laporan keuangan yang baik adalah bentuk dari kinerja keuangan yang positif pada perusahaan sehingga berpengaruh signifikan pada margin laba bersih perusahaan.

Abstract

On July 20 2022, Community Service was held in the village of Kemuningsari Kidul, Jenggawah, Jember. To prevent various diseases, this community service aims to provide knowledge, understanding, and skills on how to live a clean and healthy life, especially for children in elementary schools. In this activity, students were given material on washing hands with running water and soap. This activity was continued with the best poster competition, where students were given masks and sanitizers. In this community service, site surveys, problem finding, outreach, provision of facilities, and evaluations are carried out. After evaluation, it can be interpreted that this activity can improve the understanding and skills of Kemuningsari Kidul 01 Elementary School students regarding Clean and Healthy Behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the Role of Risk Management in Improving Company Performance by analyzing research literature in the field of human resource management. The method used in this research is literature research by reviewing some of the results of previous studies. This scientific article was written using qualitative methods and research literature with the help of the latest references obtained from Google Schoolers and Mendeley citation searches. Based on the studies conducted, it means that risk management has a role in company performance. Therefore, risk management has a positive role in company performance. Risk management is one of the references used to manage existing resources within the company, so that the company can obtain good value and generate profits as expected by the company.

Abstract

Perusahaan dapat mencapai manajemen yang baik jika mereka terus berinvestasi dalam pengembangan kualitas. Salah satu strategi manajemen yang fokus pada kualitas adalah dengan menerapkan Total Quality Management yang merupakan cara terbaik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh Total Quality Management terhadap motivasi kerja dan kinerja karyawan. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan penelitian kepustakaan atau library research. Tujuannya adalah untuk menganalisis perbandingan teori-teori yang ada dengan teori-teori sebelumnya dalam literatur penelitian. Literatur yang digunakan adalah literatur dari hasil penelitian atau kajian yang disajikan dalam artikel ilmiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Total Quality Management berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi kerja (2) Total Quality Management berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan.
