Abstract

Education directs the process of humanizing humans. With education, it is hoped that people with character and knowledge can be achieved. During the COVID-19 pandemic, national education underwent changes in its implementation. Learning is done by Distance Learning (PJJ). The implementation of physical education based on character education during the COVID-19 pandemic is carried out online. The purpose of this study was to describe learning physical education based on character education during the COVID-19 pandemic at SDN Bontoa Makassar. This research is a qualitative research in which the data obtained from interviews, observations and documentation. The results showed that physical education learning based on character education during the COVID-19 pandemic was carried out online. The implementation of character education-based physical education learning is carried out by integrating the character values of discipline, honesty, hard work and responsibility in every learning planning activity, learning implementation and learning evaluation. The integration of character values in physical education learning activities during the COVID-19 pandemic was carried out by providing examples of exemplary and habituation in attitude.

Abstract

Wrestling contains the meaning of a fight, a fierce fight to defeat the opponent by hitting, kicking, strangling, and even biting each other. However, this understanding has changed because it has become a sport that is equipped with rules that are obeyed by its participants. Mastery of basic techniques is very important because determining overall skill and proficiency in a sport means having to be skilled at doing some basic movement techniques. So with a good mastery of basic techniques an athlete will have a greater chance of achieving an achievement. One of the basic techniques is the waist slam technique. This type of slamming technique utilizes the waist as a foundation for the slamming technique. To be able to perform basic techniques perfectly, it is influenced by the physical condition of the athlete. In sports, it has a very big influence on achievement or kickbacks, because the function of the legs is to support the body. Apart from being a support, the body also acts as an initial pusher and when the wrestler performs lifting and slamming movements. While the arm muscles in question is the ability of the arm muscles to pull and embrace the opponent so as not to be separated from mastery. The role of arm muscle strength in performing assistive slams is important because in addition it can help obtain the value of waist slams.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research conducted in four meetings in cycle I and II, and is designed through four stages: planning, implementing, and reflecting. The data source for this research was 18 students in class V at SD Negeri 375 Tancung, Wajo Regency. Collecting data on the ability to dribble using assesment sheets for starting technique, body position, foot contact with the ball, and final attitude. The results of quantitative analysis of the learning outcomes of dribbling in football games showed that the number of students who completed the first cycle was 11 people with a percentage of 64,70% and the number of students who completed the second cycle were 17 people with a percentage of 100%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that learning physical education through cooperative learning models of the Student Team Achievement Divisions type can improve the learning outcomes of dribbling in football games for fifth grade students at SD Negeri 375 Tancung, Wajo Regency.

Abstract

Character education is the most important thing in developing students' potential to become human beings with character. One of the supporting elements in the development of character education in national education is the teaching staff. Lecturers as educators participate in the development of educational character. The role of lecturers in carrying out the tri dharma mandate of higher education is carried out through education and teaching, research and development, community service. The objective of this study is related to the role of PJKR doses in strengthening student character education at STKIP YPUP Makassar. The research was conducted using qualitative research methods where data was obtained using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that the role of PJKR lecturers in strengthening character education is carried out in education, teaching and student development. Lecturers integrate values into learning starting from the formulation of teaching plans, implementation of learning and teaching methods. Student advisors, lecturers become role models that can be emulated by students in socializing and behaving.

Abstract

Students’ character building will be influenced by the school environment as well as their physical education (PE) teachers’ performance. The aim of this research is to analyse and verify the influence of school environment and PE teacher performance on elementary students’ character building. There are 20 elementary schools in Semarang, including 10 public schools and 10 private schools that are used as research samples. The research samples are taken based on cluster random sampling, which is divided into five sectors in Semarang. The qualitative method is applied in this research. The finding shows that the physical education subject gives significant advantages to the development of the students as well as supporting the students’ daily activity based on evaluations by the teacher, school headmaster, and parents. The conclusion attributed to the research is that having a supportive school environment, including facilities and infrastructure, a good proportion of objective competition, a suitable physical education teaching model that is in line with the curriculum, and a supportive and well-competent teacher working in a linear field will have a positive impact on students’ character building. This impact will be visible not only in school but also when the students are home as well

Abstract

The ability to serve short in badminton is one of the most important strokes. The game of badminton begins with a short serve, so it is necessary to master the skills and basic techniques of the underhand serve. The research method used is quantitative research with correlational research. This correlational study involved two independent variables, namely hand-eye coordination and wrist flexibility, while the dependent variable was short serve ability in badminton. The population in this study was PB Avanti Makassar, with a sample of 30 athletes taken by random sampling. The data analysis technique used is the correlation coefficient. The results of the research conducted show that: 1). There is a significant relationship between hand-eye coordination and short serve ability in badminton with a value of r = 0.755. 2). There is a significant relationship between wrist flexibility and short serve ability in badminton, with a value of r = 0.731. 3). There is a significant relationship between hand-eye coordination and wrist flexibility, together with the short serve ability in badminton games, with a value of R = 0.853.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas merangkai gerakan senam ritmik dengan alat simpai melalaui media pembelajaran audio visual. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas atau Classroom Action Research dengan prosedur penelitian dilaksanakan mulai dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi.Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP KhadijahMakassar yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Instrument pengumpulan data berupa observasi atau pengamatan langsung menggunakan tes kreativitas dalam merangkaigerakan senam ritmik dengan alat simpai. Analisis data dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif digunakan untuk menganalisa data kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran senam ritmik.Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus dengan hasil penelitian yangmenunjukkan bahwa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan media audio visual mulai dari siklus I sampai siklus II mengalami peningkatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kreativitas merangkai gerak senam ritmikpada siklus Iadalah kategori kreativitas rendah 57.14% dan kategori kreativitas rerata 42,85 % dari jumlah 28 jumlah siswa. Sehingga dilanjut kesiklus berikutnya yakni siklus II. Sebagai mana yang diharapkan dengan mencapai target standar kelulusan kategori baiksimpai hingga mencapai 85% atau bahkan 100% siswa yang memenuhi syarat kelulusan atau ketuntasan. Pada siklus II meningkat dengan skala kreativitas tinggi 64,28% dan skala rerata terdapat 35,71 % dari 28 jumlah siswa.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu, tidak tercapainya kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) siswa pada materi lari jarak pendek. Hal ini dikarenakan metode yang diterapkan belum efektif sehingga pembelajaran tidak mencapai hasi yang maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pembelajaran lari sprint 100 meter menggunakan metode.. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 31 orang. Teknik pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, teknik kepustakaan dan tes unjuk kerja . Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistic sederhana.. Dari pelaksanaan sebelum siklus terdapat 16 siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM (51,61%) dan 15 siswa yang belum mencapai nilai KKM (48,39%). Dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan siklus I dan hasilnya meningkat dengan jumlah 20 siswa yang mencapai KKM (64,52%) dan 11 siswa yang belum mencapai KKM (35,48%). Maka dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan siklus II dan hasilnya meningkat dengan jumlah 25 siswa yang mencapai KKM (80,65%) dan 6 siswa yang belum mencapai KKM (19,35%). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pembelajaran lari sprint 100 meter menggunakan metode bagian pada siswa kelas X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru.
