Abstract

Indonesia support the development of oil palm cultivation, because nowadays oil palm is one important farm result, and then because oil palm plantation has the important aspect in social economic people life beside to give foreign exchange, and have many function and excellence thing of oil palm plantation and then see the condition that plantation sub sector have role or important effect such as social economic development that is give job field, give more income to the people that work in the plantation environment nor people around especially work in the oil palm plantation. The creation and expansion for the job field always have effort, especially by improvement of the development Rubber plant easy to try, but the management of rubber plantation often get the problem. Compared to rubber plant cultivation nowadaysoil palm more get interest from the farmer, while this plant can give advantage and give more income to the farmer. In the other hand, this research has purpose to know the factors that effects the farmer over of the rubber land become oil palm plantation in Parindu Raya village ParinduSanggau district. The population and sample in this study amounted of 40 farmers. Data were collected through a research questionnaire and direct interviews. The research method used is descriptive using ordinary last square (multiple linear regression) analysis. The results showed that age have positive and significant effect to over of the land. Experience, burden and price of oil palm has negative and significant effect to over of the land. Education, work time and fertilizer amount has negative and not significant effect to over of the land. Whereas, income deviation has positive and not significant effect to over of the land.

Abstract

Male farmers are considered as the main subject in managing a farm. This condition has an impact on almost of farmer capacity-building programs involving only male farmers. In fact, the role of women farmers in managing their farming is inseparable. Therefore, the study aims to measure the level of the role of women farmers in decision-making in farming activities. The research was conducted in Limbung Village of Kubu Raya District, which involved 64 respondents. Data were collected through interviews with respondents and were analyzed descriptively. The result of the research showed that women farmers who had a higher level of activeness in the women farmers group tend to have more influence in the decision making in their farming activity, compared to the women farmers with a lower level of activeness, although the final decisions still made by men. Therefore women farmers' involvement in farmers' capacity-building programs is an essential matter for agricultural development.

Abstract

The aims of this study are to analyze cosmopolitan and imitation levels of women farmers, and the influence of cosmopolitan and imitation levels of women farmers towards decision of farming management. This study was conducted in Limbung Village, Kubu Raya District, West Kalimantan. Respondent in this study consist of 26 womens who joint in women farmers group and 38 womens who do not joint in women farmers group. The method that used in this study are descriptive analyze and corelation analyze. The results showed that imitation level of women farmers group women farmers group is in average level. Beside that, the cosmopolitan level of women farmers group women farmers group is in high level. The result also showed that there is corelation between imitation and cosmopolitan levels has significant influence in decision of management farming

Abstract

Konsumsi buah yang semakin tinggi sejalan dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan gizi dan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya mengonsumsi buah untuk kesehatan. Kecenderungan konsumen dalam memilih buah bermutu dan aman untuk dikonsumsi sudah semakin tinggi. Konsumen lebih memilih buah import, sedangkan disisi lain buah lokal (pisang, pepaya, dan jeruk) lebih segar dan alami karena tidak membutuhkan pengawet dalam proses distribusinya. Konsumen dihadapkan dengan berbagai macam atribut yang menggambarkan sikap konsumen dalam mengonsumsi buah lokal. Metode analisis data menggunakan multiatribut Fishbein. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap konsumen terhadap konsumsi buah lokal di Kota Pontianak. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini yaitu 96 orang. Penelitian ini berbentuk kuantitatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan alasan utama responden mengonsumsi buah lokal adalah manfaat, warna, dan rasa.
