Abstract

This paper reports ZnPt bimetallic nanoparticles (ZnPtBNs) synthesis through the liquid phase deposition (LPD) of of Zn(NO3)2.6H2O onto the indium-titanium oxide (ITO) substrates at various concentrations. The Effects of growth solution, the morphology, structural, and sheet resistance were studied. After preparation, the materials were characterized by using field emission electron microscopy (FESEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Four Point Probe (FPP) measurement by using Keithley 2401 source-meter. By inserting a growth solution into the ITO substrate the ZnPtBNs was successfully in-situ prepared. The synthesized ZnPtBNs exhibited homogeneous, fibrous at the (111) orientation with an average diameter of 100-700 nm. The atomic ratio of Zn:Pt and sheet resistance of ZnPtBNs decreased with the increase of Zn(NO3)2.6H2O concentration. The optimal elemental composition of the sample was at a ratio of Zn:Pt (1:25) obtained at 0.467 mM of Zn(NO3)2.6H2O. It showed the smallest sheet resistance (13.41 ?) which was 38% lower than the ITO sheet resistance (18.44 ?).

Abstract

Abstract. This research is based on existing problems, namely the absence of teaching materials that can support the implementation of the practicum and plus the learning process carried out during the covid-19 pandemic is learning at home or also called online learning, where students are instructed to study at home with use cell phone. This causes students to have difficulty understanding some chemical concepts. The purpose of this research is to produce a chemistry practicum manual based on learning cycle 5E for class XI SMAN 1 X Koto Diatas that can be used by students in carrying out practical activities at school and at home. This study uses a type of development research using a 4-D development model. The results showed that the validity of this 5E learning cycle-based chemistry practicum manual obtained a percentage of 96.00% with very valid criteria and the practicality results of this 5E learning cycle-based chemistry practicum manual obtained a percentage of 86.60% with very practical criteria. With this, it can be concluded that the chemistry practicum manual based on the 5E learning cycle that is designed is valid and can be used in the process of implementing the practicum.Keywords: Practicum Manual, Learning Cycle 5E, Validity and Practicality

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan media pembelajaran Augmented Reality berbasis android terintegrasi nilai-nilai keislaman yaitu ayat-ayat Al-Quran valid dan praktis pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit untuk tingkat SMA/MA. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu model 4D yang meliputi 4 fase, antara lain: Define, Design, Develop dan Disseminate. Subjek uji coba pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMAN 1 X Koto Diatas, Kabupaten Solok. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pedoman wawancara, lembar validasi, dan angket praktikalitas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang diperoleh nilai rata-rata validitas isi 0.83 dan validitas konstruks 0.87 dengan kategori sangat tinggi sedangkan nilai praktikalitasnya menurut guru 0.78 dengan kategori praktis dan siswa 0.842 dengan kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Salah satu cara pengintegrasian nilai-nilai religiulitas dalam proses pembelajaran kimia adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang memuat konsep-konsep kimia terintegrasi dengan ayat-ayat Al-Quran untuk menghindari pengdikotomian antara sains dan agama.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan E-LKPD berbantuan Augmented Reality terintegrasi nilai keislaman pada materi larutan elektrolit untuk SMA/MA yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini menggunakan Research dan Development dengan model define, design, develop dan deseminate. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah pedoman wawancara, lembar validasi dan angket praktikalitas. Hasil validitas isi menunjukkam nilai 88,1% dengan kriteria sangat valid, hasil validitas integrasi menunjukkan nilai 93,8% dengan  kriteria sangat valid  dan hasil praktikalitas E-LKPD yaitu 88,0% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah E-LKPD LKPD berbantuan Augmented Reality terintegrasi nilai keislaman pada materi larutan elektrolit untuk SMA/MA dinyatakan layak dengan kategori sangat valid dan praktis untuk ditindak lanjuti untuk diuji cobakan secara terbatas.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the validity and practicality of a Guided Inquiry-Based Chemistry E-module for 11th-grade students at SMAN 1 Sijunjung. The study was conducted using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the 4-D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate), and only the define, design, and develop stages were carried out. During the define stage, the learning conditions and instructional requirements were understood, while the design stage involved preparing the Chemistry E-module. In the develop stage, the validity and practicality of the E-module prototype were tested. The results of the study show that the Guided Inquiry-Based Chemistry E-module met standards with regard to its construction validity, as evidenced by a result of 94.4%. The module was also found to be highly practical based on student perception, with 86.4% of students indicating that the E-module was useful in the classroom. Overall, the findings suggest that the developed Guided Inquiry-Based Chemistry E-module can serve as an effective learning resource for students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada kurangnya media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, sehingga dapat meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran kimia. Media pembelajaran e-comic kimia berbasis STEM dirasa perlu dikembangkan guna dijadikan media pembelajaran sebagai pegangan yang dapat membantu siswa dalam belajar kimia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan e-comic kimia berbasis STEM pada materi termokimia yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian 4-D (define, design, develop, dan disseminate). Tetapi pada penelitian ini hanya dilakukan dari tahap pertama sampai tahap ketiga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:1) e-comic kimia berbasis STEM pada materi termokimia sudah memenuhi kriteria valid dengan persentase hasil validasi 85,96%, 2) e-comic kimia berbasis STEM pada materi termokimia memenuhi kriteria praktis dengan hasil angket respon peserta didik 91,34%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-comic kimia berbasis STEM pada materi termokimia dapat dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran yang valid dan praktis bagi siswa.

Abstract

Research based on the absence of the development of quality, innovative and integrated Research based on the absence of the development of quality, innovative and integrated Chemistry textbook with the latest research results that are used to broaden student's horizons and increase student creativity. The purpose of this research is to produce basic Chemistry II textbook based on research. This study uses a type of development research using a 4-D model which consists of 4 stages, namely, definition, design, development and dissemination. The subjects of this study were students of the Department of Chemistry Education of IAIN Batusangkar. The data were collected using a questionnaire. The results of textbook based on research validity obtained a percentage of 88.21% with highly valid category. Then, the results of the practicality test obtained a percentage of 76.31% in the practical category and the results of the effectiveness test showed a significant increase in student activities and learning outcomes. With this, it can be concluded that the basic Chemistry II textbook based on research is valid, practical and effective for use in the learning process

Abstract

This study addresses the insufficiency of teaching materials in the learning process and its negative impact on students' comprehension of provided material. To alleviate this issue, student worksheets based on Learning Cycle 5E were developed to be used as a learning resource for 10th-grade students studying stoichiometry at State Senior High School (SMAN) 1 X Koto Singkarak. The aim of this research was to create a valid and practical Student worksheet based on Learning Cycle 5E. Development research with the 4-D development model (define, design, development, and disseminate) was employed, with the first three stages executed. The define stage was conducted to identify the school's conditions and problems, while the design stage was used to create the initial student worksheet based on Learning Cycle 5E for stoichiometry material. The develop stage was carried out to refine the worksheet. Data were gathered using validation sheets and practicality questionnaires filled out by two chemistry lecturers, one chemistry teacher, and 10th-grade students of SMAN 1 X Koto Singkarak. Data analysis was conducted using a quantitative descriptive method. Results indicated that the Student worksheet based on Learning Cycle 5E met the valid criteria with a validation score of 91.37% and the practical criteria with a student response questionnaire score of 82.09%. Thus, the worksheet can be used as a learning resource.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a practicum module oriented to Chemoentrepreneurship  with Qur'an and Hadith insight on colloidal system material for Class XI SMA/MA that is valid and practical. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) research method with the 4-D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). Data for the defining stage was collected using an instrument in the form of an interview sheet. The interview sheet was filled in by the chemistry teacher. Data for the development stage was collected with instruments in the form of validity sheets and practicality questionnaires. Validation were completed by chemistry lecturers and chemistry teacher. Practicality questionnaire sheets were completed by the students as respondent. Data from validity and practicality instruments were analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods, with the percentage formula.The results showed that the practicum module oriented to Chemoentrepreneurship with Qur'an and Hadith Insight on the material of the colloidal system of class XI SMA / MA was categorized as valid with a percentage of 87.79%. In addition, the practicum module oriented Chemoentrepreneurship with Qur'an and Hadith insight on colloidal system material has met the practical criteria with the results of the student response questionnaire 86.80%. Thus, it is known that the practicum module oriented Chemoentrepreneurship Insightful Qur'an and Hadith on colloidal system material class XI SMA/MA has been valid and practical. The results of this study indicate that the practicum module developed can be used as one of the learning resources for students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students who do not understand chemistry lessons, especially in explaining formulas and calculations. Even though the learning methods and models used by teachers are different so that students have a "mindset" that learning chemistry is a difficult subject to understand. Another problem experienced by the teacher during learning, only the teacher is actively involved during learning while students are more dominant in listening to the teacher's explanation. The purpose of this study was to analyze and find out the Science Process Skills (SPS) of 11th grade science students at SMAN 1 Pulau Punjung. This research method is qualitative (descriptive). The subject of this research was the class of Stage F.2 which consisted of 27 students. Data collection techniques in this study were observation techniques, interview questionnaires, SPS documentation and questionnaires.  The data obtained relates to the science process skills of students. Furthermore, researchers used data analysis techniques, namely the theory of Miles and Huberman which included data reduction, data presentation, and data verification and drawing conclusions, then the data was validated using the triangulation method. Based on the research that has been done, it can be interpreted that the results of the SPS analysis of Phase F.2 students of SMAN 1 Pulau Punjung on the observation indicator with a proportion of 89% and the experimental design indicator with a proportion of 82% both have very good categories. Then a classification indicator with a proportion of 77% and a predictive indicator with a proportion of 68% both have good categories. Then for the hypothesis delivery indicator with a percentage of 58% it is categorized as enough while for the hypothesis preparation indicator it has a proportion of 39% in the not enough category.
