Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) mengembangkan media pembelajaran sains melalui video animasi berbasis PBL pada mahasiswa IPA semester IV. (2) meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah IPA-2 dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran sains melalui video animasi pada mahasiswa semester IV PRODI IPA Universitas Negeri Manado. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan metode Research and Developmen (R &D) dengan model Dick dan Carrey yang meliputi 7 tahap yaitu perencanaan, studi eksplorasi, pengembangan bentuk awal produk, instrument pengumpulan dan analisi data, revisi berdasarkan hasil validasi dan desiminasi produk. subjek uji coba pada penelitian dan pengembangan ini di review oleh, (1) orang ahli pembelajaran,  (1) orang ahli media, uji kelompok kecil, uji coba lapangan atau kelompok besar,  sampel diambil pada 1 kelas dengan jumlah 21 orang mahasiswa. Nilai thitung < ttabel (-15,518 < -2,086) dan signifikansi < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05), kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa proses pembelajaran yang diberi perlakuan media pembelajaran sains melalui video animasi berbasis PBL, dapat meningkatkan nilai rata-rata pada mata kuliah IPA-2 materi sistem pencernaan makanan pada manusia.Kata kunci : Media Pembelajaran Sains, Problem Based Learning, Video Animasi. ABSTRACTPurpose in this study is (1)To  develop learning media science through video animation based PBL (Problem Based Learning) at students IPA fourth semester. (2) improve student learning outcomes in the course IPA-2 by using learning media science through video animation on student semester IV department IPA Manado State University. Research the  development using the methods Research and Developmen (R &D) model with  Dick and Care which includes 7 stages. The subject of this research and development in the review by (1) expert lecturers learning, (1) media expert lectures, small group test, field trials or large group, samples were taken at 1 class with 21 students. Value thit < ttab (-15,518 < -2,086) and significance < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05), conclusion in this study that the learn process is treated by media science learn through video-based animation PBL, can increase the average value of subject IPA-2, digestive system in humans.Keywords: Learning Media Science,  PBL (Problem Based Learnig), Animated-Video.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research that is descriptive and correlation in nature. Attitude of parental attention is a form of support given to increase student motivation when learning to. This research is to find the relationship between parental attention and students' learning motivation in science subjects. Researchers conducted this study because based on interviews conducted with several students in one of the public schools in North Sulawesi, it was found that there were some students who felt they did not get enough attention from their parents, because their parents were busy with work to meet family needs so that caused some of the students who were interviewed to feel less motivated to learn in class, especially in science subjects. Retrieval of data using random sampling method. This research was conducted at SMP N 9 Dumoga with 70 respondents in grades VII and VII of junior high school who were active in the 2020/2021 school year. To determine the level of parental attention and student learning motivation, the mean score is used. Retrieval of data using the convenience sampling method. To determine the level of parental attention and student learning motivation used the mean score. Pearson correlation was used to find out whether there was a significant relationship between parental attention and students' learning motivation in science subjects. The results of this study showed that there was no significant relationship between parental attention and students' learning motivation

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dan korelasi. Kegiatan belajar mengajar membutuhkan kreativitas dalam memberikan pembelajaran sehingga mampu menarik minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini untuk mencari hubungan antara kreativitas belajar guru dan minat belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kreativitas mengajar guru dan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini mempunyai dua variabel yaitu kreativitas mengajar guru dan variabel terikat minat belajar siswa. Hasil dari penelitian didapati bahwa tingkat kreativitas mengajar guru tinggi dan minat belajar siswa tinggi ini berarti bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kreativitas mengajar guru dan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA Sekolah Dasar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini maka, para guru dalam memberikan pembelajaran IPA untuk tetap menggunakan kreativitas dalam pembelajaran sehingga dapat menigkatkan minat belajar siswa.

Abstract

Teaching creativity is one of the efforts made by teachers when providing learning material to their students. Creativity is said to be the ability to create a new product, which is new or which is a modification or a change by developing things that have existed before (Monawati and Fauzi, 2018). The purpose of this research is to find out the relationship between creative teaching teachers and student learning interests. The method used in this study is the Pearson moment correlation method to see the relationship between the variables studied. The questionnaire was used to obtain data for 67 students from two classes, namely class IXA and IXB, SMP (X) 01 Tikala Manado, who had filled out the questionnaire. The method used was convenience sampling to collect data in this study. The results of this study indicate that the level of teacher's teaching creativity is at a moderate level and the level of interest in student learning is at a moderate level as well. The results of this study also stated that there was a significant relationship between teacher-teaching creativity and student learning interest.

Abstract

The smartphone is a smartphone that not only functions as a communication tool but has various functions that support human life activities. Technological advances in this modern era, besides having a positive impact, there are also have negative impacts resulting from smartphone technology, which is a problem, especially among students. For example, students who are still active at school or are often found using smartphones, and not a few teachers find students carrying or playing with Smartphones during lessons in class (Amin, 2018). The research method used is quantitative, the aim is to find out whether there is a significant relationship between smartphone use and student achievement at SMP X Airmadidi. This study used a questionnaire instrument made by the researchers themselves with a total of 69 students as respondents. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between smartphone use and student achievement. This study provides recommendations or suggestions to smartphone users, especially to students who use smartphones, namely: students are expected to continue to be able to control their time when using smartphones and continue to listen to parental directions so that the achievements obtained in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 school year can be maintained in the second semester next

Abstract

After learning is complete, students are required to take a test to see their ability of students after participating in learning. Anita, Tyowati, and Zuldafrial (2018) said that test questions (instruments) are a tool that can be used by teachers to assess how much material is absorbed in teaching and learning activities. This descriptive quantitative research aims to find out the quality of the second-semester final exam questions in mathematics that are tested through two aspects, namely reliability, and level of difficulty. The instruments used were questions that had been prepared by the mathematics teacher and answer sheets from 31 student respondents. The results of this study showed that the second-semester test questions in mathematics had high reliability. The difficulty level of the multiple choice questions that were too easy = 2 items, medium = 25 items, and too difficult = 2 items, and the difficulty level of the filled-in forms that were moderate = 3 items, too difficult = 1 item. From the results of this study, it is hoped that the teacher will re-analyze the quality of the items through aspects of difficulty level that do not meet the quality standards of the items

Abstract

The development of the era is also followed by technological developments in terms of communication, this can be seen by the increasing sophistication of smartphones, causing students to be more interested in these sophisticated objects than having to study to achieve learning achievements at school. The purpose of this study is to see the level of use of smartphone gadgets and student achievement. Haomasan and Nofharina (2018) mean that teenagers' use of smartphone gadgets varies, some are due to the sophistication of their features, being able to access the internet quickly, easily accessing social media, as a means of entertainment, and helping to complete school assignments. This research uses quantitative research. The results of this conclusion indicate that the use of smartphone gadgets is placed in the frequent category with the sum of the average or mean values ​​(M) = 3.97. and the results of student achievement in science subjects are in the very good category. The advice from this study is to maintain the level of student achievement, but don't forget to control the time when using smartphone gadgets because it will hurt student achievement if you use smartphone gadgets too often.

Abstract

Merebaknya virus corona atau disebut dengan Covid-19 di dunia mempengaruhi dunia pendidikan dimana harus menerapkan pembelajaran daring dengan menggantikan pembelajaran tatap muka secara langsung dalam ruangan kelas. Model pembelajaran daring memiliki kesulitan dalam menyampaikan materi oleh guru, dan juga kesulitan bagi siswa dalam memahami materi yang disampaikan. Untuk itu, dilakukanlah penelitian tentang Hubungan Model Pembelajaran Daring dan Hasil Belajar Siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran daring dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dan korelasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Advent X Airmadidi dengan total 61 responden siswa kelas VI dari total 71 siswa yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Pengumpulan data menggunakan survei dengan menjalankan kuesioner, dan menerapkan purposive sampling methode. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan nilai P atau p-value adalah sebesar 0.62 atau lebih besar (>) dari tingkat signifikansi α = 0.05 yang berarti tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran daring dan hasil belajar siswa atau penggunaan model pembelajaran daring tidak berhubungan dengan belajar siswa secara signifikan.

Abstract

This descriptive and correlative quantitative research was carried out to prove the relationship between parenting style and student learning achievement. In collecting the required data, researchers conducted a survey containing questionnaire adapted from the instrument constructed by Puspicahyani (2006) about parenting style. In addition, learning achievement data is taken from the results of the midterm exams. The respondents to this study consisted of 60 grade V students of Airmadidi Adventist Elementary School. The results of the study indicate that democratic parenting is the parenting style that students experience more often than authoritarian or permissive parenting. As for learning achievement, the students are able to show good learning achievement in general. In addition, the results of the study also proved that a significant relationship occurred between democratic parenting style and students’ learning achievement, however, no significant relationships found between two other parenting styles and students’ learning achievement. That is why it is recommended for parents to better apply parenting democratically in guiding their children so that maximum results in learning can be achieved.

Abstract

Abstract This research is a quantitative research that is descriptive and correlational. The research was conducted at SD Advent X Airmadidi with 65 respondents from class IV A and IV B students who were registered in the 2019/2020 school year. This study aims to find out whether there is a significant relationship between the conditions of the learning environment in schools and student learning outcomes in mathematics. This study has two variables, namely the condition of the learning environment at school as the dependent variable and student learning outcomes as the independent variable. The questionnaire used in this study was adapted from Arifin (2016). The mean score is used to find out the level of the condition of the learning environment in schools and the level of student learning outcomes. Pearson correlation is used to determine the relationship between the conditions of the learning environment in schools and student learning outcomes in mathematics. The results showed that the condition of the learning environment in schools was at a high level and student learning outcomes were at a good level. Furthermore, the results showed that there was a significant relationship between the conditions of the learning environment in schools and student learning outcomes. Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dan korelasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu apakah ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kondisi lingkungan belajar di sekolah dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini mempunyai dua variabel yaitu kondisi lingkungan belajar di sekolah sebagai variabel terikat dan hasil belajar siswa sebagai variabel bebas. Kuesioner yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diadaptasi dari Arifin (2016). Mean score digunakan untuk mencari tahu tingkat kondisi lingkungan belajar di sekolah dan tingkat hasil belajar siswa. Pearson correlation digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan kondisi lingkungan belajar di sekolah dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi lingkungan belajar di sekolah berada pada tingkat yang tinggi dan hasil belajar siswa berada pada tingkat yang baik. Selanjutnya, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kondisi lingkungan belajar di sekolah dan hasil belajar siswa.
