Abstract

Faktor eksternal terutama kebijakan pemerintah tentang reformasi pendidikan dan kehadiran para pemilik capital di sekitar pesantren memiliki kontribusi bagi terjadinya dinamika ideology, kelembagaan dan ekonomi di pesantren Muhammadiyah dan Nahdlatul Ulama yang ada di kawasan pesisir dan pedalaman pantai utara kabupaten Lamongan, namun yang paling dominan adalah faktor internal, figure kiai yang sinergi dengan para ahli di Yayasan Pesantren. Dalam hal ini,ada kiai yang hanya mengambil satu jalan ideologis,namun ada pula kiai yang menggunakan jalan ketiga,yakni antara ideologis dengan realistis (kemaslahatan ummat).

Abstract

Abstrak: Pendidikan di Indonesia dihadapkan pada permasalahan pendidikan yang kompleks. Mulai dari permasalahan kurikulum hingga hasil pendidikan. Realita yang ada Adab perserta didik terhadap guru sangatlah kurang, guru diposisikan sebagai pegawai, yang lebih parah lagi diposisikan sebagai pembantu karena strata ekonomi guru jauh lebih rendah dari orangtua peserta didik, tidak ada sopan santun dan sikap memuliakan guru sebagaimana bentuk memuliakan ilmu yang dimiliki. Hal ini banyak dijumpai di sekolah-sekolah Indonesia. Banyaknya keluhan orangtua sebab adab peserta didik, sangat susah diatur serta diingatkan, hingga orangtua merasa tidak mampu lagi dalam mendidik putra-putrinya dan mengambil langkah sepunuhnya diserahkan kepada lembaga pendidikan. Maraknya siswa dan santri mengidolakan tokoh fiktif dan artis korea, yang mana notabenenya adalah orang-orang kafir. Lembaga pendidikan yang memperhatikan pendidikan adab adalah Kuttab Al-Fatih Sidoarjo. Lembaga ini setingkat pendidikan Sekolah Dasar (SD), dengan usia belajar peserta didik lima - dua belas tahun. Kuttab dalam pembelajarannya mengedepankan pendidikan adab. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui dan mendiskripsikan implementasi pendidikan adab di Kuttab Al Fatih Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan. Metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Metode Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif-analitis, melalui proses induksi-interprtetasi-konseptualisasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : implemantasi dari pendidikan adab berlangung sesuai dengan rencana yang telah ditetapkan, yaitu dengan pembekalan keilmuan, teladan dan pembiasaan. Para santri sangat berbaikti kepada orang tua, gurunya dan cinta serta mengidolkan Rasulullah, ummul mukminin serta sahabat dan sahabiyah. Setiap kalimat yang santri ucapkan selalu memilik unsur keimanan yang sempurna.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the pattern of Muslim friendship with the veil and its relationship to academic achievement and character building for veiled female students at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. In this study using the kualitatif fenomenology research method with the research subject of veiled female students both all Faculties and Ma'had at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. The results obtained from this study are veiled female students at Muhammadiyah University strengthening each other in terms of piety, bound by piety to Allah SWT. The friendship pattern of veiled female students has a close relationship with academic achievement, namely that each other is able to guide and become mentors in achieving better achievements. Through the pattern of friendship that is intertwined with each other, they provide good examples in terms of character so that they are able to instill a solid foundation of Islamic character in the friendship

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the competence and understand the principal's strategy in improving the quality of teacher competence at SMA Islam As Sakinah Sidoarjo, the obstacles faced by the principal in improving the quality of teachers, as well as the principal's strategy in overcoming the obstacles which appear in efforts to improve the quality of teachers at SMA Islam As Sakinah Sidoarjo. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The research subjects were determined purposively, they are the principal and teachers of SMA Islam As Sakinah Sidoarjo. Observation, interview and documentation are data collection techniques. Reduction data, display data, and conclusion are the steps of data analysis. To check the validity of the data using source triangulation and discussion with the supervising lecturer. The results of the study prove that the principal's strategies in improving the quality of teacher competence at SMA Islam As Sakinah Sidoarjo are: (1) further study of the S.2 professional degree, (2) activating teachers in increasing competence, (3) providing motivation, (4) maximizing the function of the school library, (5) conducting periodic supervision and (6) providing welfare benefits. The obstacles faced by principals in implementing strategies to improve the quality of teacher competence at SMA Islam As Sakinah Sidoarjo are the lack of interest and awareness of teachers, insight into thinking which still tends to be exclusive, lack of teacher supervision activities and several other external factors. While the solutions to overcome the obstacles which appear include providing motivation and good treatment, involving teachers in scientific activities and increasing the implementation of teacher supervision.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore and understand the strategies of Islamic Religious Education teachers in shaping the Islamic character of the 10th grade students of MA Ma'arif Durensewu, Pasuruan Regency, the supporting and inhibiting factors in the formation of the Islamic character of the 10th graders of MA Ma'arif Durensewu, Pasuruan Regency, and solutions. and problem solving taken by the teacher in shaping the Islamic character of the 10th grade students of MA Ma'Arif Durensewu, Pasuruan Regency. To achieve this goal, the researchers used qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. The research subjects were PAI teachers, 13 female students, and 11 male students. The types of data collected are qualitative and quantitative, primary sources and secondary sources. Meanwhile, for data collection, the researcher used observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data obtained were analyzed through reduction, display and draw conclusions. The results showed that the strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers in shaping students' characters used cooperative learning, Problem Based Learning, and Project Based Learning models. Supporting factors in shaping the character of students are the religious atmosphere created by the madrasa that is very good, for example, providing an assessment of congregational prayers, students are required to take religious extracurricular activities, the field of Islamic Da'wah and Islamic Music, etc. The inhibiting factor is the very varied parental background and the less supportive community environment. The solution provided by Islamic Religious Education teachers in solving these problems. Keywords: Learning Strategies, PAI teachers, Islamic Character Building.

Abstract

The implementation of democracy in the management of public services is an important part that must be carried out by the bureaucracy. In its implementation, it must uphold democratic principles that are in line with the state constitution, namely freedom/equality, people's sovereignty, and open and responsible government. Better and more satisfying services for the community must be carried out by public service providers. The government's attitude is still inclined to only provide good services to certain people, who have the same political views and thoughts as the government. The paradigm of the management of the administration of the public service bureaucracy must be changed, which initially "regulates" the community to "serve" the community. because the public service bureaucracy is the main benchmark in assessing the performance of the central government and local governments in serving the community. Abstract

This study understands the various roles that the School Student Organization performs in improving character education in Muhammadiyah Two Sidoarjo High School. Using qualitative research phenomenological approach premises. His research determined by purposive, namely the students who became an administrator and a member of student council. The type of data collected in the form of qualitative and quantitative primary and secondary sources. Analyzed by reduction, display and draw conclusions. To check the validity of the data is done tringulasi source. The results showed that the council has a major role in character education students. This is reinforced by the opinion of K.H. Dewantara about three things that underlie an education, firstly, family; secondly, the place of education; and thirdly, the youth movement. Then it resulted from this research that through various activities of the youth movement or student council. Through various activities the student council, the student's character becomes more intelijibel, ie, honest, disciplined, responsible, independent, confident, like mutual cooperation, leadership and creative spirit, and students can develop his potential and have creative ideas for the surrounding communities.

Abstract

The presence of supervision at a school is an indispensable activity. One such supervision technique is a class visit. The purpose of this research is to find out how the implementation of supervision in the School with class visit techniques and their impact on the level of professionalism of teachers. This research uses a qualitative approach to the study of phenomology in SMP At-Tibyan. The main data sources are the Principal and Teacher. This study also uses a sampling procedure with research subjects of 5 teachers with different tenure at the school. The data collection technique is observation and is supported by interview techniques as a source of supporting data. Data analysis techniques according to Miles and Huberman include condensation of data, presentation of data, drawing conclusions. The results obtained are 1) the implementation of supervision of classroom visits has increased in terms of technical implementation, 2) the level of professionalism of At-Tibyan Middle School teachers is still low, 60% includes Professional teachers, 20% includes quite professional teachers, and 20% of teachers are not professional. The development of teacher professionalism needs to be done immediately and the role of the school principal can effectively support the development of the teacher's professionalism. As a controlling stage for the business, academic supervision can be carried out with classroom visits techniques that continue to improve the quality of implementation. Through supervision of class visits can be seen developments in the level of professionalism of teachers.

Abstract

Quality human resources will affect the quality of an Islamic educational institution. One of the influential human resources in the development of Islamic educational institutions is the teacher. The principal as the leader of an educational institution is tasked with conducting an assessment of teacher performance. This article aims to explain the importance of teacher performance supervision activities in Islamic education institutions and how the results of teacher performance supervision in developing Islamic education institutions. This research is included in the research with a qualitative approach. It was concluded that the results of supervision of teacher performance are very important in an Islamic educational institution, and the results of supervision of teacher performance can develop the quality of Islamic education institutions.

Abstract

This paper discusses the effectiveness of English Diction election by Headmaster in Managing Institutions of Islam. Language consists of several ranks grammatical include words, phrases, clauses, and sentences. The word is the lowest level and the sentence is the highest level. When you write, the word is a key element in the effort to write. Therefore, a number of words in Indonesian should be well understood, so that one's ideas and messages can be easily understood. Thus, the words used to communicate to be understood in the context of the paragraph and discourse. The word as an element of the language, can not be used arbitrarily. However, these words should be used by following the correct rules. This Pnelitian use This research is qualitative descriptive study which is expected to reveal a variety of information-description rigorous analysis and meaningful. Sources of data in this research include the principals of this research study ju analysis pusataka research is to investigate the theory of structuralism and Derrida Jacquest dekonstruktifisme. Data was collected by interview, observation, and documentation and study the literature. Adapaun data analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and analysis of data. The results of such research are (a) the selection of appropriate language diction will lead to a successful school leadership to manage and develop the advanced study lead.
