Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted on toxicity tests of rengas (Gluta renghas) bark extract to shrimp larvae Artemia salina in July to September 2015. This research aims to determine the toxicity of rengas (Gluta renghas) bark extract to shrimp larvae of Artemia salina. This research was carried out by experimental research using Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) method which consisted of 5 treatments and 3 replications. Parameters measured were the mortality of shrimp larvae Artemia salina. The data obtained and analyzed by probit analysis using regression equation. The results showed that the extract of bark rengas (Gluta renghas) is toxic to shrimp larvae of Artemia salina. It can be seen from the LC50 values of 599.79 ppm. Key Words: Toxicity Test, Rengas (Gluta renghas), Artemia salina

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was conducted to determine the rate of leaf litter decomposition in Forest Areas native Prohibition Rumbio in September 2014 and January 2015. The study was conducted with phase field research. Determination of the research station in purposive sample by three research stations as representing the forest community as a whole. At each station gets 15 bags of waste and the waste that is deposited on the forest floor litter bags were collected every interval of 15 days and dried for 75 days in the oven for 48 hours at a temperature of 70oC – 75oC. Each station measured soil temperature, soil moisture and pH of the soil and the types of trees on a plot measuring 20x20 m. The results showed the rate of leaf litter decomposition in Forest Areas native Prohibition Rumbio for 75 different days in each station, station 1 at a rate of waste decomposition leaf 0.0028 gr/m2/day, station 2 with a blade speed of waste degradation of 0.002 gr/m2/day, and the station 3 with the leaf litter degradation rate of 0.0018 gr/m 2/day . Key words: litter decomposition, forest Prohibition on Traditional Forest Rumbio, Learning Modules

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this research was to determine the Litter Production of The Rumbio Traditional Forest Bans Kampar District in September and November 2014. This research was carried out by measurement of litter production. Litter production research conducted by using stratified random sampling survey, where there are 3 topography that valley, sloping and hilly. Each topography consists of 3 Litter trap with a size of 1x1 meters and is taken from the litter Litter trap container every 2 weeks for 2 months of the study. The parameters observed dropping litter composition of leaves, twigs, flowers and fruits. The results showed that the production of forest litter Prohibition of Indigenous Rumbio 426.6767 gr / m2 / week. Keywords: Litter, Litter Production, Media Interactive Learning

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Researchers have done to collect the data, kind of plants as produce foodstuff and the benefit in society of Rumbio on July-August 2015. Result of research was developing module learning on plant classification concept at senior high school X. This research had two phases. The first phase was collecting the data of plant as produce foodstuffspecies with survey method (interview and observation). Parameter in this research was kind of plants as produce foodstuff in Rumbio tradition society and benefits. The Data analysis used descriptive method. The second phase, develop of module learning from result of research in first phase and used ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation)in 3 phase; analyze, design, development. Result of this research found 75 species and 37 plants of it plants are produce foodstuff in Rumbio Tradition society. Part of plants 36 species was fruit, plants as produce foodstuff in yard on 62% and unworked 38% plants species. The average of result in module learning was Valid on 3,99. So, this module learning may to try in Biologic in Senior High School X. Keyword: Plants as Produce Foodstuff, Rumbio Tradition Society, Module Learning
