Abstract

This research narrate about the economic crisis in Ireland. The discussion in thisstudy focused on the dimensions of the economic crisis in Ireland and the Irishgovernment's efforts to get out of the economic crisis since 2008. Ireland hit bythe crisis as a result of the domino effect of the economic crisis in Greece. Thedomino effect does not only stop in Greece, but also affected the countries ofPortugal, Italy, and Spain. Krsis core of the European economy hit region is thestate's inability to pay its debts. Irish government seeks to make foreign policy, inorder to strengthen the economy so they can get out of the crisis. Requestedassistance from the EU bailout fund and the IMF is the path of the Irishgovernment to get out of the economic crisis.Key words : Economic Crisis, Domino Effect, Uni Europe, IMF.

Abstract

Thailand Efforts on Preventing Drugs Trafficking Towards Drug - Free ASEAN 2015. The research aimed to determine the efforts that have been made by Thailand in tackling the problem of drugs trafficking. The theory is used to study this problem is the Global Epidemic Model (GEM). The hypothesis of this study is suspected because of the impetus towards a Drug- Free ASEAN 2015. The research using qualitative methods and library research. The research data was obtained from books, journals, working papers, articles, official documents, and websites. Based on the data obtained from these sources, researchers can obtain the result of the efforts of Thailand. The Joint Declaration for A Drug - Free ASEAN 2015 made Thailand seeks to combating drug trafficking, drug cultivation and drug networks that deploy domestically and internationally, by continuously launching the war on drugs, making strategies in controlling drug trafficking, strengthen laws governing drug, assist treatment and rehabilitation and sustainable alternative development based on cooperation with countries that have similar problems related to drug problems in the world.Keyword: Drugs Trafficking, Drug-Free ASEAN 2015, Global Epidemic Model.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the cooperation between the Jakarta administrationand the Government of the United States United States Environmental ProtectionAgency (U.S. EPA) in improving air quality and public health in Jakarta. Air pollutionin the city has increased from year to year. This is due to the rapid development of thearea in Jakarta from the sectors of population, transportation, and industry. While theUnited States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) offers cooperation to thegovernment of DKI Jakarta in improving air quality and public health in Jakarta.The author analyzes the case using descriptive qualitative analytical methods tofind data and facts through some literature such as books, journals, and websites. Thetheory is used to analyze the cooperation between Jakarta administration by the UnitedStates Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) in improving air quality and publichealth in Jakarta is the perspective of international cooperation by KJ Holsti and GreenThought theory.These results explained that the cooperation between Indonesia and the UnitedStates in the improvement of air quality in Jakarta Breath Easy program consists of sixphases but only three phases which have been running. However, cooperation betweenIndonesia and the United States in the improvement of air quality Jakarta has given theresults of the air in Jakarta where conditions began to improve.Keywords: Air Pollution, International Cooperation, Program Breath Easy, Jakarta.

Abstract

This research to explain the reasons of Russia supplies weapon to bashar al-assad in Syria conflict. Syria is one of the countries in Middle East that is experiencing political turmoil with people demanding President Bashar al-Assad retreated from his position. This conflict has claimed of so many people life that western countries lead to implement the arms and other economic sanctions against Syria but the effort was opposed by Russia through its veto.The foreign policy theory tries to explain the decision of Russia as a form of maintaining power in Middle East, particularly in Syria. in addition, rusia Russia has an interest in Syria. Abstract

This research describe about Egypt’s Interest to refused to ratify Cooperation Framework Agreement (CFA) about the rule of Management in Nile River. Nile River is Longest river in africa. And Shared by eleven countries. Nile River is primary water source of Egypt. Before CFA Exist, there was a nile river agreement signed by British Colonial and Egypt in 1929. This agreement ensured that Egypt would maintain its historic right of the Nile’s water,and allocated all water from the Nile to Egypt with no diversion allowed by upstream riparians. In 1959, Egypt and Sudan renegotiated their Nile sharing agreement Sudan recognized historical “rights over nile River for egypt and maintain their monopoly over the waters of the Nile, the 1959 treaty does not include any of the remaining upstream riparian countries and it forbids them from using the water or constructing any obstructions in Nile River. In 1999 First Organisation Nile riparian Countries, Nile Basin Initiative (NBI) Was Formed By 9 Nile Riparian Coutries. The main objective of the NBI was formed a cooperative framework agreement the Nile riparians countries and replace 1929 and 1959 agreement.Unfortunenately Egypt and Sudan Refused to ratify CFA Agreement.The theory that applied in this research is Realism and Level analysis in this research is State Level Analysis, researcher also use theory from about National Interest.The study found that the reason Egypt refused to ratify CFA Agreement are first,Egypt is dowstream nile riparians and has hot desert climate so Egypt depend on Nile River. Egypt Worry that CFA Agreement will allow upstream Nile riparian to diversion and build construction Nile and will impact to Nile River in Egypt. Second CFA don’t recognize Egypt’s historical right over Nile River and contradict Egypt’s constitution.Third Egypt’Economy depends on Nile river so Egypt Worry that CFA Agreement will allow upstream Nile riparian to diversion and build construction Nile and will impact to Egypt’Economy. Fourth, Nile River Issue is Security issue for Egypt. Abstract

This research is aimed to see how Najib Razak uses his foreign policy attacking Sabah as his winning strategy on Malaysia Election “Pemilihan Raya” in 2013. Najib Razak and his party, UMNO (United Malay National Organization) is not in good condition where it has lost many votes in 2008 election. Toward this situation, Najib Razak also faced Sulu’s Attack that is commited by MNLF.This research uses pluralism perspective and idiosincratic theory where stuffs related to personal life of the actor will influence the policy taken. The research methods is descriptive with library reasearch technique which used collect and elaborate the data and information from text book, journals, thesis and internet website.The result of this research shows that Najib Razak strategy has shown the result. “1Malaysia” strategy that had benn used on fixing Najib’s image has increase the people supports and votes. Najib Razak has also gotten the advantages from Sulu that contraining MNLF and Sabah conflict. Najib Razak use “Serangan Fajar” attack in order to defend sovereigntyand figthing terrorism. Nationalism that occured from Malaysians made them voted Najib Razak on Malaysia 2013 Election by getting 133 chairs from 222 chairs that was competed.Keyword : Najib Razak, Sabah Conflict, 1Malaysia, MNLF

Abstract

This research explains about how the BINUCA’s roles as international organization to keep peace in Central African Republic (2010-2014). The Rebelion and violent coup made this country fail to protect the security and welfare of civilians even since gaining independence from France in 1960. Central African Republic became weakness of state capacity and authority in many core state function. The worst part is when political conflict turn into ethnic cleansing between Séléka and anti-Balaka.This research used qualitative methods. In this research, the data was collected by using library research technique where this technique is collecting data sources from the literature, like books, website official publications, newspaper, and journal.This research uses pluralism approach which this approach has assumption that actor in international relation isn’t just a state but there’s another actor one of International organization. In this research, writer uses International Organization Theory which each organization has their duty. This research of BINUCA has important duties and roles to keep peace in Central African Republic.To keep peace in Central African Republic, BINUCA has three roles, political, law and security asspects. Abstract

This research describes the strategy of Australia insert Indonesia into Australia Defence White Paper 2013. Defence White Paper is one of strategic products in the field of defence, which is an outline of the statement and the defence policy as a guidelines for organizing the defence of state functions. Different to the previous White Paper, Defence White Paper 2013 discussed Indonesia more specific with emphasis on sub-chapter in this Paper. One of priority of Australia defence interest is to maintain the good relations with Indonesia.The theory that applied in this research is realisms paradigm with the level analysis is Nation-State Analysis. The method that is used in this research is qualitative research. Some of the datas are obtained from books, journals, articles, internet and other media. This research focused on why Australia insert Indonesia into Australia Defence White Paper 2013. Using strategic theory from John P. Lovell about Accommodation Strategy and the cooperative security concept by J.E. Nolan.The research found that Indonesia has more powerful military force in the aggregate compared than Australia, among others are manpower, naval power, land system, air power, and resources. Australia looked to Indonesia as a country that has successfully rebuilding the democracy, economy, and military and that is the interest of Australia to continue a good relations with Indonesia. Australia build the security cooperation that provide benefits to prevent various threats that threatening it’s national security. The aim of this strategy is to deterrence the treats that come to Australia and maintain the stability of national security by building a strategic relation with Indonesia.Keywords: strategy, australia, defence white paper, indonesia

Abstract

This research is a study of contemporary which discussing about Indonesia efforts to make Gunung Sewu as Global Geopark Network of UNESCO from 2013 to 2015. Global Geopark Network is a network under the name of UNESCO who’s the role is to conduct geological heritage conservation and to promote sustainable development in society. UNESCO begin the program of Geopark in 1999 and cooperate with Gopark organization in Europe.In this research, the author uses the nation analysis level which focused on the efforts of Indonesia to make Gunung Sewu as Global Geopark Network.. This research uses a Neo-Realist perspective in international relations and Diplomacy theory of William C. Olson. Indonesia effort to make Gunung Sewu as Global Geopark Network is to submit all the dossier about Gunung Sewu that compatible with requirement from UNESCO.In effort to make Gunung Sewu as Global Geopark Network, Indonesia find the obstacle such as least the coordination and lack of active participation from local government. Abstract

This research is a study of contemporary which discussing about implementation of Opportunities for Vulnerable Children (OVC) program by Helen Keller International (HKI). Education is a basic human right and a significant factor in the development of children, communities, and countries. Everyone has the right to education but for Children with disabilities, it is difficult to get access to education. Disability education has become one of the international issues at at Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1989 and The International Conference on special education in 1991 which led to the term “Education For All” and The Salamanca World Conference on Special Needs Education in 1991. In 2003 Indonesia invites HKI to develop an inclusive education system for child with disability in Indonesia with Opportunities for Vulnerable Children (OVC) program. In effort to implementation of OVC program, HKI faced some obstacles. The lack of policies on inclusive education system at the Province and District, lack of teachers of special education and lack of knowledge of the Government and communities about the concept of inclusive education system and child with disability.Keywords : Inclusive education, Disability, Helen Keller International (HKI), Opportunities for Vulnerable Children (OVC).
