Abstract

Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) is a highly contagious disease that can infect all cloven hoofed animals. FMD is one of the most important infectious viral diseases in the world. This disease is responsible for international losses in livestock production and trade. In this article, we formulate a mathematical model for the spread of FMD in goat farms that considers early quarantine, vaccination, and disinfection interventions. The model constructed is expressed as a system of ordinary differential equations consisting of eight state variables. We determine the basic reproduction number using the next-generation matrix method. Our numerical simulation results show that vaccination has a very crucial role in controlling the spread of FMD and reducing the basic reproduction number. In addition, quarantine interventions for latent and infectious goats are also effective in controlling the spread of FMD. The basic reproduction number can also be suppressed by disinfection and quarantine interventions. Therefore, we recommend implementing routine vaccination, screening and disinfection programs. In addition, farmer should be given education so that they have the ability to identify goats exposed to FMDV so that quarantine can be carried out early.

Abstract

Near-ring is a generalization of ring. In ring theory, let R be a ring over addition and multiplication operation with unity element and G be a commutative group under addition operation. Then G together with scalar multiplication of R and holds several axioms called module over ring. Let N be a near-ring, here we can construct the module over near-ring called near-module. We have three definitions of module over near-ring, such that, near-module, modified near-module, and strong near-module. Then we showed that strong near-module can be constructed into strong near-module factor as well as module factor in G. Furthermore, we generalized the fundamental theorem of homomorphism in module over ring to strong near-module over strong near-ring.

Abstract

The Blumberg model is one of the logistic models. The advantage of the Blumberg model is the flexibility of the inflection point. The Blumberg model is believed to be suitable for modeling the growth of living organs. In this article, we estimate the parameters of the Blumberg model using simulated annealing algorithm. The simulated annealing algorithm is a heuristic optimization method based on the metal annealing process. The data used is Broiler daily weight data. The model obtained fits the daily weight data of Broiler. Our results show that the closer the cooling schedule factor to 1, the smaller the error. In addition, we must carefully select the initial temperature. The selection of the initial temperature that is not suitable drives the error to enlarge.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini, dibahas tentang cara menerapkan konsep merdeka belajar dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) guna memberi peningkatan kreativitas peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan ialah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang sering disebut model penelitian naturalistik. Temuan penelitian memperlihatkan jika di SMA Negeri, pembelajaran PAI sudah mengadopsi pendekatan pembelajaran serta penilaian yang memperhatikan kemandirian siswa, sebagai implementasi dari konsep merdeka belajar. Dampak dari penerapan konsep merdeka belajar ini positif terhadap peningkatan kreativitas peserta didik, sehingga pembelajaran PAI menjadi lebih menarik, bermutu, serta berarti. Hal itu dikarenakan peserta didik yang menerapkan merdeka belajar mempunyai kemampuan berpikir kritis, sensitivitas emosional, bakat, serta imajinasi yang tinggi.

Abstract

Program kemitraan masyarakat stimulus (PKMS) di Desa Rambu-Rambu Kabupaten Majene Sulawesi Barat bertujuan untuk mengajak peternak mengenal  konsentrat penggemukan sapi dan kambing berbasis pakan lokal yang banyak tersedia di sekitar usaha tani mereka.  Kegiatan ini sejalan dengan pencapaian IKU Perguruan Tinggi khususnya IKU 2 mahasiswa belajar di luar kampus, IKU 3 dosen berkegiatan di luar kampus dan IKU 5 yatiu hasil kerja dosen digunakan oleh masyarakat.  Tahapan kegiatan meliputi konsolidasi tim pengabdi, observasi lapangan, penyediaan alat dan bahan pelatihan dan pelatihan dan demo pembuatan pakan konsentrat.  Sebanyak 20 orang anggota kelompok tani peserta pelatihan terlibat langsung dalam pembuatan pakan konsentrat penggemukan sapi.  Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman petani terkait dengan pakan konsentrat yang berbasis pakan lokal yang ketersediaannya melimpah, berkualitas dan ketersediaannya kontinu sepanjang tahun.
