Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of goodcorporate governance on bank financialperformance listed in IDX. Constructs weredeveloped this study, External CorporateGovernance proxy for RegulatoryCompliance, as measured by the CapitalAdequacy Ratio (CAR), Internal CorporateGovernance- Manager proxy for SensitivityCompensation-Performance, InternalCorporate Governance-owner proxy withVariance coefficient Net Interest Margin(NIM), Financial Performance proxied byReturn on Assets (ROA). The population usedin this study were all commercial banks listedon the Stock Exchange from 2009-2013. Thedata used in this study in the form of annualfinancial statements obtained from thePublications Indonesia Stock Exchange(IDX). After passing through the stagepurposive sample, the samples were used by30 (thirty) banks. The method of analysis usedin this study is the analysis of panel dataregression. With the model specification testuse Random Effect Model (REM). coefficientof determination (R2), test hypothesis with asignificance level of 5%. The results showedthat the variable External CorporateGovernance proxied by the Capital AdequacyRatio (CAR) and a significant effect on ROAand Internal Corporate Governance-Managerproxy for Sensitivity Compensation-Performance not effect on ROA. While theInternal Corporate Governance-owners proxywith Variance coefficient Net Interest Margin(NIM), has a significant effect on ROA. Oftwo significant variables, variables InternalCorporate Governance-Owner proxied by thecoefficient of variance NIM has a greatereffect on financial performance (ROA).

Abstract

The current study was conducted to increase of our understanding of factors that influence distinctiveness of the curriculum as efforts to maintain and improve the quality of education in study program graduate of Business Administration. An extensive review of the existing literature was used to identify 32 factors that Affect quality of education and Alumni satisfaction. Data or a questionnaire distributed to 133 graduates study program graduate of Business Administration Department of Business Administration Polytechnic State Semarang. Of the 133 questionnaires distributed were returned as many as 124, and 9 questionnaires are not returned by the target date. The analysis of 124 questionnaires there are 13 questionnaires that occurred outlier. So the data or questionnaires that can be used for the study were as many as 111 questionnaires. Results from both the qualitative and quantitative phases of the current study demonstrated that 32 factors that Affect quality of education and Alumni satisfaction can be clustered into three basic process. First, based on the results of data analysis showed that the acquisition of specialized expertise is the key or most dominant variable, Second, results demonstrate mastery of tools and technology are the two variables that affect the realization of graduate satisfaction. Third, the results of data analysis showed that the formation of character and behavior of the third element in increasing the satisfaction of graduates through the value of the learning process The sectors in which the alumni study program graduate of Business Administration were not completely representative of reviews their year of graduation and geographical region.  The findings suggest that, in order to increase of satisfaction study program graduate of Business Administration, Then focus on mastery of special skills is the most dominant variable that can affect the value of the learning process, This is a strength study program graduate of Business Administration, then the advice and recommendation is to maintain and emphasize the element of learning output is -unsur formed on the entire course, which relate directly and indirectly to the mastery of special skills in administration. This study contributes to the body of knowledge on the value of the learning process.

Abstract

Quality of College Life (QCL) is one of the performance measurement instruments of a highereducation institution. The results of the Tiyarattanachai and Hollmann studies (2016) warnedthat educational institutions always prioritize internal factors is something that is common, but itis not true if educational institutions ignore external factors. Both factors must be balanced for amaximum result. The results of direct observation of this research in the form of preliminarydata, where there are found 664 business boarding houses in the city of Semarang. It gives riseto social, cultural, security and competition for the business of Kos-boarding houses andconsumers in this case students. The formulation of this research problem is how the strategicvalue of business services boarding houses / boarding houses for students as an external supportsystem on the quality of life of the campus with structural model analysis approach. The plan ofresearch needs from the beginning to the end is 5 (five) months. Sampling technique used in thisresearch is accidental sampling method in this case that is students who use business servicesboarding houses / boarding houses in the city of Semarang. For the sample size is 100 for SEManalysis tools with AMOS 22.00. In addition to SEM, this study also performs reliability test,validity test, decryption index analysis test, and others. In the end it is expected that this researchcan answer will be partially and simultaneously influence the value of environmental life,competitive economic value, and strategic location value to student achievement behavior,through the quality of campus life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the implementation of the just intime in the production process of the garments on the Subsidiary Company PAN 12PT. Pan Brothers Tbk in Boyolali, Central Java and to know how the implementationof the just in time in relation to improving the effectiveness of the production. To findout how much the company achieved production effectiveness, in this study usedmeasurement method by using the calculation of the Manufacturing CycleEffectiveness (MCE) by dividing the non-value added activities and value addedactivities, from the calculation of the MCE can be the measurement of theeffectiveness of the company where the company has a value of 100% means theMCE has the ideal production effectiveness, while less than 100% then neededimprovement. The result of this study, the calculation of the Manufacturing CycleEffectiveness (MCE) generated in the implementation of the just in time of 66,19%.From that result, companies can make improvements by reducing or eliminating nonvalue added activities to increase the value of the MCE, with the result thateffectiveness of production can be achieved. Based on the results of the analysisthere is a difference between the Manufacturing Cycle Effectiveness (MCE) betweenin advance of improvements of 66.19% and following improvement of 79,19%.Improvement attempts by reducing or eliminating non value added activities capableof improving the Manufacturing Cycle Effectiveness (MCE) of 13% (79,19%-66,19%) than in advance of improvements in the implementation of the just in time.

Abstract

Central Java is the second largest soybean producing provinces after East Java but still have toimport the soybean. The research is intended to analyze (1) the influence of inflation on soybeanimports of Central Java, (2) the influence of rupiah exchange rate on soybean imports of CentralJava, (3) the influence of inflation and rupiah exchange rate on soybean imports of Central Java.This research uses multiple linear analysis, F-test for simultaneous testing and t-test for partialtesting. This research uses secondary data taken from Statistic Bureau of Central Java. Thesimultaneous results by F-test shows that inflation and rupiah exchange rate significantlyinfluenced Central Java Soybean Imports 2001-2013 period. While the result of t-test showed that inflation is significant on Soybean Imports in Central Java 2001-2013 period but rupiah exchange rate did not significantly influence on Soybean Imports in Central Java 2001-2013period. Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic gives an impression to the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Semarang City. 1538 SMEs experienced losses of up to 75% and even went bankrupt. It is caused by changes in purchasing priorities from the market, so SMEs must be able to think innovatively to maintain their business. Innovation will be attached to SME products that guarantee business survival. One of them is a catfish nugget product from Atmajaya Pond. Atmajaya Pond is an SME community service program partner that can sell as many as 280 packs monthly, producing 70 kg of fish for nuggets. This figure is relatively high for a home-scale business. The raw material for nuggets is obtained from cultivation through aquaculture, which occupies a limited area beside the house. The products were distributed in Semarang and surrounding areas. Currently, the high-cost burden in the production process is feeding, so making fish feed yourself is a strategic activity to reduce production costs. SME partner now has three root problems: (1) Fails in developing fish feed products because it cannot float. (2) The products need to be more competitive because they are still modest and less eye-catching, and the packaging is not represented as iconic. (3) Processed products owned by partners cannot last long. Thus, the direction of this program will build solutions that solve these problems, such as improving fish feed production, recreating the packaging design, and adding new processed fish products. This strategic program impacts increasing skill by 89.58%, increasing knowledge by 95.83%, and strengthening production by 20%.

Abstract

The development of information technology has brought a new era to the digital-based creative economy. The increasing needs of the community supported by the advancement of internet services used for various purposes, one of which is for business and trade purposes. One of the uses of the internet for business and trade purposes is using different existing marketing media, such as marketplaces. The Coffee Farmers Group in Kab. Semarang still markets its products by selling them directly to intermediaries or placing them in the nearest stalls. So, the marketing of coffee products is still limited to locals, and few people know. Based on the existing problems, building a marketplace-Based Digital Platform system is necessary to expand the marketing reach of MSME products for the Coffee Farmer Group. This study used an observation and interview approach. This research aims to build a digital-based marketing information system to expand sales further.
