Abstract

The first five years of a children’s age is the period of rapid growth with physical and motor development. Those process will develop well if stimulated continuously. Early childhood always identic with high activity requires the opportunity to express their abilities. Therefore playing method is very urgent inchildren’s gross motor skills and fine motor skills development through a variety of playing activities both indoors and outdoors. Playing is an activity that cannot be separated from early childhood’s world. All playing activities will be carried out happily. By the same token learning by playing will be done happily without any sense of being forced or oppressed.

Abstract

Character education is the main foundation to increase the human dignity. The good characters are well formed from an early age, which is when the potential of children grow rapidly. In the character building of children, parents and teachers have a very significant role. Therefore, the parents and the teachers should be the good example (uswatun hasanah) in that character building. Character is the values of human behavior that must be build through sustainable development process, including knowing the good, loving the good, desairing the good and acting the good.

Abstract

Tahsin Al Qur'an activities are carried out to optimize the learning of the Koran to students in Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo Islamic boarding school. This activity is carried out outside formal pesantren education, as an effort to cover the shortage of Qur'an learning time in madrasas and hostel. In this activity, students are grouped based on their ability to read the Qur'an. The supervisor uses the Gabriel method as a learning method. The core of the implementation of the Gabriel method is the talqin-taqlid technique, (imitating), namely students imitating readings exemplified by the mentor, both classically, groups, and individuals. This can be done repeatedly until the santri master well in the readings and theories conveyed.

Abstract

KB / RA teacher training and mentoring activities in the innovation of group-based learning models with the student-centered approach is an attempt to change learning from conventional classical models and teacher-centered to group-based learning that is centered on the activities of students. This activity goes through three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. At the planning stage, the problem identification process is carried out, making work plans (work plans), and classifying teaching practices (peer teaching). At the implementation stage, it consists of two stages; 1) group learning model training with a student-centered approach which includes group model class management techniques, learning media design, and evaluation techniques.

Abstract

Parenting education activities are carried out with the theme of realizing an active and fun study from home, as a mentoring activity for teachers and parents of children. Complaints of parents when accompanying their children to study at home, became the main basis for carrying out these parenting activities. Many parents feel overwhelmed to build children's enthusiasm in learning and completing the tasks given by the teacher. This condition bring out the initiative to provide assistance to teachers in providing parenting education activity material to children's parents and also directly provide material about the study from home method in parenting education activities carried out at RA Al Hidayah Kapongan Situbondo, so that even though learning activities were carried out at home , the children are still enthusiastic to do it actively and fun. The most important thing in this mentoring activity is to bring back the essence of parents/mothers as madrasas for their children, so that parents can hone, love, and nurture their children well. In the end, a nation will be born as khaira ummah who is anfauhum linnas.

Abstract

Gross motor is a body movement that uses large muscles, either most or all of the limbs that are influenced by the maturity of the child itself. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the process of exercising for children's gross motor skills through the application of outbound kids games in improving physical motor skills and how the results of implementing outbound kids games in improving children's physical motoric in group B at RA Riyadul Ulum Botolinggo Bondowoso. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) by solving learning problems in class, problem solving is done in a cycle. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection with the aim of improving the quality of learning in the classroom. Based on observational research, it can be seen that (1) the implementation of outbound kids to improve gross motor development of children at RA Riyadul Ulum includes; the teacher explains how to play outbound footprint and hand with the illustrated carpet media, one by one they walk, jump, on the footprint and hand media through illustrated commands made from the carpet, then the teacher asks again their movements, correct or not the sequence of movements according to the instructions from the picture . (2) The results showed an increase in aspects of children's gross motor development through outbound kids, namely pre-cycle, the percentage value reached 30%. The average achievement of the indicators for children is 3 after the Cycle I action is carried out, the percentage value reaches 50%. Meanwhile, the average achievement of the indicators achieved by children is 5. Actions in Cycle II, the percentage value reaches 100%. The average value of the child's indicator achievement is 7.8 which found a comparison on the level of gross motor development of children that children experienced an increase in gross motor development after outbound kids.

Abstract

This research was carried out as an effort to foster a child's entrepreneurial spirit through the project method by using used goods to become a unique work. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of efforts to form entrepreneurial mentality in early childhood through the project method and to find out the results of implementing efforts to form entrepreneurial mentality in early childhood through the project method. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR) by conducting investigations, solving problems which are carried out in cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection with the aim of improving the quality and results of learning in the classroom. The results of the action research found are: The form of implementation forms the entrepreneurial mentality of students carrying out project activities making works from used materials, followed by buying and selling activities. The results obtained by the children through this project method in group B at RA Baiturrahman sidodadi Banyuputih Situbondo in cycle I reached 54.54% of children who were able to achieve learning mastery (KB) out of a total of 33 people, and in cycle II, children's creative abilities were already visible. in 28 children, it means that 87.87% have fulfilled learning completeness.

Abstract

The introduction of ethnomathematics concepts through this exploration activity is very important to be applied to Early Childhood Education institutions. Because this activity aims to improve the ability to learn mathematics and culture in children, children must be introduced to ethnomathematics learning from an early age. This study uses Action Research with 2 cycles through planning, observation, implementation, and action procedures. The formulation of the problems in this study are: 1) How is the introduction of ethnomathematics concepts through Banyuwangi local cultural exploration activities 2) What are the results of the introduction of ethnomathematics concepts through Banyuwangi local cultural exploration activities, While the results of the study: 1) The process carried out is that children carry out mathematical exploration activities with objects typical of Banyuwangi culture with varied activities. 2) Research results In the pre-cycle the percentage of children was 35% and after the action was carried out in cycle I only 11 children out of a total of 17 children were declared able to achieve the minimum completeness criteria, with a percentage of 65%. Whereas in cycle II there were 14 children who had succeeded in achieving the minimum completeness criteria with a percentage of 82%. Based on the results of cycle II, it was not continued in the next cycle because it had reached the set classical completeness target, namely 80%.
