Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah yang sangat penting untuk segera ditanggulangi. Prevalensi stunting saat ini masih diatas dari target WHO. Sehingga hal inilah yang memerlukan sebuah pengabdian masyarakat terkait dengan deteksi dini stunting di TK Negeri Surapati Buleleng. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah melakukan deteksi dini stunting pada anak TK sehingga penanganan lebih dini dapat dilakukan. Metode dari pengabdian masyarakat adalah tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi. Sasaran dari pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah seluruh siswa di TK Negeri Surapati Buleleng sejumlah 64 siswa. Pelaksanaan ini dibantu oleh berbagai pihak meliputi Kepala Sekolah, Guru dan mahasiswa untuk melaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat selama rentang waktu bulan Agustus-Desember 2019. Deteksi ini dilakukan secara berkala untuk menilai tinggi badan dan berat badan. Hasil dari pengabdian menemukan bahwa rata-rata berat badan dan tinggi badan meningkat secara signifikan selama waktu pengabdian dilakukan. Walaupun nilainya tidak besar. Kesimpulannya adalah pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan berhasil untuk meningkatkan rata-rata berat dan tinggi badan siswa TK Negeri Surapati Buleleng.

Abstract

Growth monitoring is one form of power-based health activities are managed and organized society of, by, for and with the community in the implementation of health development. Efforts development of quality human resources to optimize the potential development of the child can be carried evenly when posyandu done effectively and efficiently. But in its development posyandu not been utilized optimally. The purpose of this study was to identify the causes of poor mothers visit to Posyandu. Abstract

This study emphasizes the perception of nursing mothers towards the support of midwives they receive regarding breastfeeding. This mixed-method study was done using a random sampling to determine the sample. The data in this study was obtained by distributing a questionnaire to the mothers of the babies. The quantitative data were analyzed using univariate by STATA software 12 S.E while the qualitative study was done to five midwives using an indept interview. The results obtained were that almost all mothers had a good perception of midwife support because they really received support since the antenatal period through antenatal classes. Therefore, it is recommended for midwives to be able to provide breastfeeding support early on, i.e., by conducting clear counseling about breastfeeding in the antenatal class

Abstract

The Consistency of condom use by the sex customers is very low. These problems occur due to the lack of negotiations carried out by the sex workers into their customers. This study aims to determine the most effective negotiation strategies for the customers to consistently using condoms. The study was conducted by using a survey cross-sectional of sex workers directly with the sample of 100 peoples, which who selected by a random cluster sampling in Denpasar city. The data collected by interviews conducted by using a questionnaire about the characteristics and modification Condom Influence Strategy Questionnaire (CISQ) developed by Noar. The results of the study show that about 63% of customers consistently used condoms in the past week. The effective negotiation strategies used so that customers consistently using condoms is deceptive by sex workers to their client's variables associated with consistent condom use is the availability of condoms and sex worker's age. Deceptive is the most effective strategy to increase consistent condom use.Keywords— Negotiations Condoms, Female Sex Workers, Consistency of Condom Use

Abstract

Cases of death in HIV / AIDS are still a benchmark for the success of treatment. Studies of predictors of death in people with HIV in the general population are still very limited. Longitudinal analytic with a retrospective approach using cohort data of patients receiving antiretroviral drugs at Buleleng General Hospital in the period 2006-2015. Analysis uses logistic regression with SPSS version 17. Results show a total of 1204 that the incidence of total mortality rate is 3 per 100 person years. 50% of deaths occurred at 0.14 years of observation. Men and the general functional status of employment were predictors of death in PLHAs. Men have a risk of death 2.12 times higher than that of women (aOR 2.12 (p 0.01 CI 1.28-3.51). Functional status of beds increases the risk of death aOR 2.14 (CI 1.39-3.29 p 0.01).Men have a risk of death evaluation of the success of antiretroviral therapy considers studies and differences in needs between women and men.The functional status of beds shows a poor clinical condition that increases the risk of death in people with HIV. Evaluation of regularity of treatment and the incidence of gender-based deaths should be done more intensively.

Abstract

Exercise for pregnant women in the class for pregnant women is one of the health programs that is expected to play a role in reducing maternal morbidity and mortality. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of exercise for pregnant women in the class of pregnant women in Sambangan Village, the working area of ​​the Sukasada I Health Center. This research methode used a qualitative type of research conducted with in-depth interviews, observation and document review. The informants in this study were 10 people including the Head of the Puskesmas, the KIA Program Holder, the person in charge of the pregnancy exercise program, the facilitator and six pregnant women. The results of the study indicate that the input aspects of HR planning, infrastructure facilities, targets, and their allocation have been well structured and carried out according to the guidelines. In the aspect of the process of implementing pregnancy exercise, it has been carried out according to a predetermined schedule. In the output aspect, it is known that the average attendance of pregnant women in each activity is 80%, a monitoring and evaluation process has been carried out with the results and has not involved the health office in the monitoring process, the monitoring results are reported in the form of a quarterly activity report. In the short-term outcome aspect, this pregnancy exercise provides benefits for increasing physical and mental health for pregnant women. In the aspect of medium-term outcome, the percentage of normal deliveries and the presentation of disorders or complications experienced by pregnant women and childbirth were found to be below the national data. In the aspect of long-term outcomes in the last 5 years, there were no cases of maternal death in Sambangn Village, Sukasada I Health Center Working Area.
