Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning model in learning ecosystem material biology on critical thinking and cognitive biology learning outcomes of students. The design of this research is the pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study was class X MIA at MAS PAB 2 Helvetia Deli Serdang, where the sample consisted of 2 classes with a simple random sampling technique. Class X MIA-1 as an experimental class uses a guided inquiry learning model, while class X MIA-2 as a control class uses a conventional learning model. Data collection techniques used observation sheets and written tests, consisting of a pretest posttest totaling 40 questions. Data were analyzed using inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of critical thinking research, for the t-test it was found that tcount = 26,286 while ttable = 2,002. The results of the study, for the t test, it was obtained that tcount = 22.551 while ttable = 2.002, it means that tcount > ttable then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion from the results of this study is that there is an influence of the guided inquiry learning model on critical thinking and student learning outcomes at MAS PAB 2 Helvetia Deli Serdang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran guided inquiry dalam pembelajaran biologi materi ekosistem terhadap berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kognitif biologi siswa. Desain penelitian ini yaitu pretest-posttest control grup design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas X MIA di MAS PAB 2 Helvetia Deli Serdang, yang mana sampelnya terdiri dari 2 kelas dengan teknik acak kelas (Simple Random Sampling). Kelas X MIA-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran guided inquiry, sedangkan kelas X MIA-2 sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes tertulis, terdiri dari pretest posttest yang berjumlah 40 soal. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian berpikir kritis,  untuk uji t diperoleh bahwa thitung = 26,286 sedangkan ttabel = 2,002. Hasil belajar, untuk uji t diperoleh bahwa thitung = 22,551 sedangkan ttabel = 2,002, itu berarti bahwa thitung > ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini yaitu ada pengaruh model pembelajaran guided inquiry terhadap berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa di MAS PAB 2 Helvetia Deli Serdang. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat serta efektivitas pembelajaran biologi pada masa pandemi COVID-19 di MAN 1 Medan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, kuesioner, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, dan penyajian data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor penghambat pembelajaran dari rumah pada mata pelajaran biologi adalah jaringan internet, ketidakhadiran siswa saat daring, kondisi ekonomi siswa, dan kepemilikian gadget ataupun laptop. Adapun faktor yang mendukung adalah teknologi, tempat belajar sesuai dengan protokol kesehatan COVID-19, sumber belajar, media belajar yang memadai, rancangan pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring yang dirancang oleh guru, sikap antusias siswa dalam menuntut ilmu, dan sarana prasarana yang memadai. Kesimpulannya bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran dari rumah pada mata pelajaran biologi yang dilakukan di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Medan berjalan dengan efektif sesuai dengan aturan pemerintah melalui Surat Edaran No.15 Tahun 2020.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena proses pembelajaran yang digunakan guru sebelumnya adalah pembelajaran teacher centre, yang mana hal tersebut membuat siswa merasa bosan, sehingga hasil belajar yang diperoleh rendah. Maka dari itu, peneliti mencoba untuk menggunakan strategi pembelajaran discovery learning berbantuan mini magz untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran discovery learning berbantuan mini-magz dalam pembelajaran biologi materi sistem ekskresi pada manusia terhadap hasil belajar kognitif biologi siswa. Desain penelitian ini yaitu non equivalent control group design pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIA di Pesantren Fajrul Iman, yang mana sampelnya menggunakan 2 kelas dengan metode pengambilan sampel jenuh. Kelas XI MIA A sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran discovery learning disertai dengan membuat ringkasan berformat mini magz, sedangkan kelas XI MIA B sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan datanya yaitu menggunakan tes tertulis, yang terdiri dari pretest yang berjumlah 20 soal dan posttest yang berjumlah 20 soal. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, untuk uji t diperoleh bahwa thitung 3,64 sedangkan ttabel 1,71, itu berarti bahwa thitung > ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh strategi pembelajaran discovery learning berbantuan mini magz terhadap hasil belajar kognitif biologi siswa. Saran untuk peneliti lain yaitu apabila peneliti ingin menggunakan strategi pembelajaran discovery learning sebaiknya menyiapkan waktu yang cukup untuk mensosialisasikan strategi ini, supaya hasil yang didapatkan lebih maksimal.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain and observe the results of applying Biology learning strategies to students' understanding through the media in the form of LKPD (Student Activity Sheet). The assessment process using an inquiry strategy is carried out using Quasi Experimental (students experiment naturally) in groups. The population object in the application of the inquiry strategy was all students of SMAN 4 Binjai grade 11 IPA 4 again 36 students with 6 research groups on plant growth and development materials. on the differences and comparisons of saplings and mature trees. Data collection techniques used plant samples found in the school environment and guided LKPd filling. by looking at the morphological characteristics of plants and analyzing the differences. The process of observing plants is carried out to see the achievement of students in understanding the material based on the stages of guided inquiry. Based on this students will be able to achieve the learning objectives. The results of the assessment are presented in tabular form to assess critical thinking skills and draw conclusions from the experiments carried out.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and observation. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Pancur Batu Academic year 2021 / 2022. This study aims to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of class X MIA students in Biology subjects through learning strategies (Reciprocal Learning). The instruments used are observation, pretest and posttest. Student observation sheet The indicator of the success of this study is seen from the mastery of student learning who achieves the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) of 80. From the results of the study, in the first cycle the student learning completeness achieved is 75%, and the second cycle is 85%, where the increase the percentage of student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II reached 10%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that student learning outcomes in Biology can be increased through Reciprocal Learning learning strategies, and have the advantage of developing student knowledge, forming collaboration between students and creating student curiosity, especially in the environment around the school at SMA Negeri 1 Pancur Batu. Key words: Classroom Action Research, student learning outcomes, Reciprocal Learning Model   ABSTRAK Eksplorasi ini merupakan penelitian kegiatan hasil studi yang diarahkan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari penyusunan, pelaksanaan, persepsi dan persepsi. Subyek review ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Pancur Batu tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Review ini berencana untuk memutuskan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MIA pada mata pelajaran Biologi melalui teknik pembelajaran (Reciprocal Learning). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah persepsi, pretest dan postest. Lembar persepsi siswa kemajuan penelitian ini dilihat dari kewenangan pencapaian siswa yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) 80. Dari hasil review, pada siklus utama pemenuhan pembelajaran siswa yang dicapai adalah 75%. , dan siklus II sebesar 85%, dimana laju pemuaian pada siswa yang memperoleh hasil dari siklus I ke siklus II mencapai 10%.  Kata kunci: Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, hasil belajar siswa, Model Pembelajaran Reciprocal

Abstract

The implementation of education, a student must be able to master the class and educate students to change, especially mastering learning.  However, not a few teachers are indifferent to the way of teaching and the results obtained by their students.  Educators generally use methods that make students often feel bored so that the subject matter is easily forgotten so that this can affect the learning outcomes of a student.  The purpose of this research activity is to determine the effectiveness of the project-based learning model in improving the learning outcomes of class XII IPA 1 SMA N 2 Percut Sei Tuan on gene material.  The method used is experimental research with the research population of students of SMA N 2 Percut Sei Tuan and the research sample is 40 students of class XII IPA 1.  The results of individual learning mastery are seen as indicators of success.  In the first cycle, the first meeting obtained individual learning completeness of 32.5%, then the second meeting was 65%.  In the second cycle, the third meeting was 75%, then the fourth meeting was 85% with a score of 75. The results of the research prove that student learning outcomes can be increased effectively by applying the Project Based Learning model. Key words: Implementation, Project Based Learning, Learning Outcomes, Gene   ABSTRAK Pelaksanaan pendidikan, seorang tenaga didik tentu harus mampu menguasai kelas dan mendidik para peserta didik untuk berubah terutama menguasai pembelajaran. Namun, tidak sedikit guru yang acuh tak acuh terhadap cara mengajar dan hasil yang diperoleh oleh peserta didik nya. Pendidik umumnya memakai metode yang membuat peserta didik kerap merasakan jenuh sehingga materi pelajaran mudah dilupakan begitu saja sehingga ini dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar seorang peserta didik. Tujuan dari kegiatan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran project based learning dalam  meningkatkan hasil belajar dari siswa kelas XII IPA 1 SMA N 2 Percut Sei Tuan pada materi gen. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan populasi penelitian siswa SMA N 2 Percut Sei Tuan dan sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XII IPA 1 sebanyak 40 orang. Hasil ketuntasan belajar individual dilihat sebagai indikator keberhasilan. Pada siklus I pertemuan ke-1 memperoleh ketuntasan belajar individual sebesar 32,5%, kemudian pertemuan ke-2 sebesar 65%. Pada siklus II pertemuan ke-3 sebesar 75%, kemudian pertemuan ke-4 sebesar 85% dengan nilai ≥ 75.  Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dapat meningkat secara efektif dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning. Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of biology learning modules based on local potential of Lake Laut Tawar Takengon Ikan Depik (Rasbora Tawarensis) on Vertebrate Material. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) research method based on the Thiagarajan methodology with four stages including define, design, devolepment and disseminate stages. This research was carried out from September to January 2022 with a sample of 26 students from SMA N 8 Takengon Unggul. The results showed that the biology learning module based on the local potential of Lake Laut Tawar Takengon Ikan Depik (Rasbora Tawarensis) is very suitable for use in learning. The validity test was tested by material experts and media experts. The material expert test was obtained by 81.37% and the media expert test was obtained by 81.25% and was included in the very feasible category to be used in learning. The practicality test was tested based on the responses of the biology teacher at SMA N 8 Takengeon Unggul and the responses of 26 students who were seen based on the response questionnaire sheet. The teacher's response test was obtained at 98.23% and the student's response test was 93.6% in the practical category used in the learning process. Testing the effectiveness of obtaining a score of 100% improves student learning outcomes during learning, this is evidenced by students' answers when tested based on the post-test questions given. So it can be concluded that the biology learning module based on local potential of Lake Laut Tawar Takengon Depik Fish (Rasbora Tawarensis) on Vertebrate Material is effective and appropriate for use in learning. Abstract

Creative thinking must be developed in the learning process, so that students are accustomed to developing their creativity. According to Fadly (2014: 166) media is a component of learning resources or physical vehicles that contain instructional material among students which can stimulate students to learn. to convey messages or learning materials. In addition, learning media is useful for attracting students' interest in learning material and increasing student understanding. The goal is to apply an interesting and student-centered learning model with learning activities that activate students to construct subject matter so as to improve learning outcomes. One learning model that can overcome these problems is Discovery Learning. Discovery is a learning model that was developed based on a constructivism view. Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of biology learning media using the Camtasia application which was developed in the form of learning videos on the subject of the human circulatory system. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method, with the ADDIE model namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The instruments used were media and material expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and multiple choice tests to assess student effectiveness. The developed media has an average overall media validity score of 0.83 which indicates that it meets the valid criteria. It is said to be "valid" according to the validity criteria (V > 0.8). The average response of teachers and students to each aspect of learning media shows a useful value of 3.90, this shows that the media and all responses of teachers and students fulfill the practical value criteria. For the value of effectiveness, 91 percent of students meet the value of the effectiveness criteria of 79.1 seen from the learning outcomes assessment test. This study shows that biology learning media fulfills the valid, practical, and effective requirements. so that it is expected to be used as a learning resources.
