Abstract

Grup merupakan himpunan dan operasi binernya terkait perkalian maupun penjumlahan disertakan aksioma. Teori grup menjadi landasan dasar dalam mempelajari ring, field, integral domain, ideal, dan ruang vektor. Pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap konsep grup terdiri beberapa tingkatan yaitu pemahaman mahasiswa pada tingkat tinggi, sedang, maupun rendah. Pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap konsep grup merupakan kemampuan mahasiswa dengan mengaitkan segala informasi objek matematika berdasarkan pemahamannya memperoleh kemampuan dengan memberi segala contoh soal grup maupun bukan grup dalam menyelesaikan segala persoalannya.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the teaching and learning process through an online system is one option that can deal with barriers to the teaching and learning process directly to avoid the spread of the virus. This study intends to analyze students’responses to the problems they face during the Covid-19 pandemic and how students deal with online learning during the pandemic. The background of this research is the experience of students with the problems they face during distance learning or online due to Covid-19 which requires students to follow government rules, namely doing distance learning or online. The informants or respondents in this study were several students majoring in . The data collected by the researcher was based on online interviews conducted with 15 students The data analysis used interactive analysis technique by Miles Hubberman. The researcher arranges several questions that must be asked of the participants to obtain the required information. In the online teaching and learning process during the covid-19 pandemic, various problems experienced by students are as follows, the most dominant problem when carrying out online learning is the limited internet network, especially for students who live in rural areas.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out: 1) Feasibility of the professional competence manual for prospective graduates of Mathematics Education at Faculty of Islamic Education and Teachers Training of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra Medan. 2) The student's response to the guidebooks for Professional Competencies in Undergraduate Mathematics Education Department of Faculty of Isalmic Education and Teachers Training of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra Medan. This is Research and Development tye that is using a model developed by Thiagarajan which is a 4 D (Four D) model consisting of 4 stages, called define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results of this study are that the professional competency guideline book for Mathematics Education graduates has met the valid and practical criteria which can be seen from the average recapitulation of the results of the validation team's assessment obtained by 3.43 with good criteria. So that the lattice guidebook is suitable to be used in lecture programs. Abstract

Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kelayakan produk bahan ajar Struktur Aljabar I dalam menanggulangi kesulitan belajar mahasiswa pendidikan matematika disalah satu universitas kota Medan. Tipe riset ini ialah riset pengembangan (development research) dengan memakai model 4-D Thiagarajan yang dimodifikasi jadi 4 sesi yakni define, design, develop, serta disseminate. Sampel dalam riset ini berjumlah 242 mahasiswa. Hasil dalam riset ini yaitu produk bahan ajar Struktur Aljabar I dikatakan layak digunakan dalam menanggulangi kesulitan belajar mahasiswa pendidikan matematika karena memenuhi 3 kriteria, yakni: valid, praktis, serta efektif. Sehingga bahan ajar dapat digunakan untuk perkuliahan Struktur Aljabar I berikutnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman konseptual mahasiswa pendidikan matematika terhadap materi grup pada mata kuliah struktur aljabar. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mahasiswa Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara Medan. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diambil dari mahasiswa pendidikan matematika semester 5 yang telah mempelajari materi grup. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes dan wawancara dengan mempertimbangkan indikator pemahaman konseptual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil rata-rata indikator pemahaman konseptual mahasiswa terhadap materi grup berada pada tingkat menengah. Kemudian dinyatakan bahwa mahasiswa dengan kemampuan matematis yang tinggi akan memiliki pemahaman konseptual yang baik, sedangkan mahasiswa dengan kemampuan matematis yang rendah tidak memiliki pemahaman konseptual yang baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika melalui Macromedia Flash pada materi sistem persamaan linier tiga variabel di kelas X MA Pondok Pesantren Darul Qur’an. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model pengembangan 4D yang dimodifikasi menjadi 3D, yakni: tahap pendefenisian (define), tahap perencanaan (design), dan tahap pengembangan (develop). Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dalam penilitian ini dinyatakan valid, berdasarkan skor persentase kelayakan oleh ahli media dengan memperoleh nilai praktikalitas 75% yang termasuk dalam kategori layak dan oleh ahli materi yaitu 89% dengan kategori sangat layak. Dari data angket respon guru juga dapat dilihat bahwa guru menilai media pembelajaran termasuk dalam kriteria sangat praktis dengan mencapai nilai praktikalitas sebesar 82,5%. Serta menurut respon siswa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kriteria praktis dengan nilai praktikalitas sebesar 70%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini memenuhi kategori layak untuk digunakan. Kata Kunci : Media pembelajaran, Macromedia Flash dan 4D ABSTRACT : This study aims to develop mathematics learning media through Macromedia Flash on the material of a three-variable linear equation system in class X MA Pondok Pesantren Darul Qur'an. This type of research is development research that refers to a 4D development model that is modified into 3D, namely: the definition stage, the design stage, and the develop stage. The learning media developed in this study was declared valid, based on the percentage score of eligibility by media experts by obtaining a practicality value of 75% which was included in the appropriate category and by material experts, namely 89% in the very feasible category. From the teacher response questionnaire data, it can also be seen that the teacher assesses the learning media as being very practical by achieving a practicality value of 82.5%. And according to student responses the learning media developed is included in the practical criteria with a practicality value of 70%. So it can be concluded that this learning media meets the appropriate category for use. Keywords: Media Education, Macromedia Flash and 4D

Abstract

Kajian ini dilakukan untuk bertujuan menemukan pengaruh model pembelajaran self organized learning enviroments melalui aplikasi google classroom terhadap kemampuan disposisi matematis pada materi integral kelas XI IPA MAN 1 Medan T.P 2020/2021. Populasinya ialah peserta didik kelas XI MIA dan sampel yaitu kelas XI MIA 2 sebanyak 38 peserta didik. Instrument data menggunakan angket. Metode analisa data yaitu pengujian hipotesis uji t. Temuan ini menunjukkan nilai = 3,251 dan . Hal ini bermaksud dimana terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran self organized learning enviroments melalui aplikasi google classroom terhadap kemampuan disposisi matematis pada materi integral kelas XI IPA MAN 1 Medan T.P 2020/2021. Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran self organized learning enviroments melalui aplikasi google classroom; Kemampuan disposisi matematis. ABSTRACT Studied this was implementation to aim find the impact learning model self organized learning environments through application google classroom towards the ability of mathematical disposition the integral material of class XI IPA MAN 1 Medan T.P 2020/2021. The population is class XI MIA students and the sample is class XI MIA 2 as many 38 students. Instrument data using a questionnaire. The method of data analysis is hypothesis testing t test. This finding shows the value of = 3.251 and t_table = 1.993. This means that t_hitung>t_table, where there is impact learning model self organized learning environments through application google classroom towards the ability of mathematical disposition the integral material class XI IPA MAN 1 Medan T.P 2020/2021. Abstract

This study aims to determine the mathematics learning outcomes students of class X MA Pondok Pesantren Darul Qur'an material linear equations before and after learning using Macromedia Flash learning media. The sample selection was through random sampling, the instrument used was in the form of tests conducted twice, namely before learning (pre-test) and after learning (post-test). The results of the data analysis requirements test, it is known that student learning outcomes are declared to be normally distributed and have variance homogeneous. The results showed that there were differences in students' mathematics learning outcomes before using macromedia flash learning media with an average of 57.1 and after using macromedia flash learning media, which was an average of 77.3. The results of data analysis using t-test showed there was a significant difference in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted where Macromedia Flash learning media is effectively used to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in class X MA Pondok Pesantren Darul Qur'an in linear equation material.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is: (1) To know the success rate of the PAKEM strategy implementation in improving students’ mathematics learning result on the material of cube and crossbar in grade VIII MTs Nurul Amaliyah Tanjung Morawa. This type of research is a classroom action research with two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The results of this research is the success rate of the PAKEM strategy implementation in improving students’ mathematics learning result in grade VIII MTs Nurul Amaliyah Tanjung Morawa on the material of cube and crossbar is 68% from before action taken.  With the completeness of classical learning outcomes before action taken is 20%, after action on cycle I is 72% and cycle II is 88%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the creative thinking ability of upper group students in solving Ring Algebra Structure questions on the prime ideal and maximum ideal material. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects are students of Mathematics Education-2 Semester VI who have taken the Ring Algebra Structure course. The research subjects are three (3) students of Mathematics Education-2 Semester VI who have high mathematical abilities based on test results in the form of assignments on Ideal material. The instruments used in the study include: 1) Test; 2) Interview guide; and 3) Documentation. Based on the results of research and discussion, the findings resulted that the thinking ability of upper-class students had fulfilled all aspects of creative thinking, namely fluency, flexibility, and originality. The subject has been able to explain all the indicators that have been set very well and precisely. Subjects have also been able to prove prime ideals or maximum ideals or not both and can identify examples and non-examples of prime ideals and maximum ideals through high-level elaboration and analysis carried out by the subject. Subjects are also very able to describe Lattice diagrams on each question and can determine the subring of a ring. It's just that there is a uniqueness of the worksheet between MS, ZB, and HF. But overall the subject has fulfilled the creative thinking aspect. Thus, it can be concluded that the upper group students can be categorized at level 4, which is very creative.
