Abstract

This community service aims to improve teacher competence through online learning media. This learning media will help teachers in carrying out online learning during the pandemic. The method applied in this activity is the demonstration method. This method is a method that is carried out by demonstrating and explaining the procedures for doing something through demonstrated examples or experiments. The online learning media practiced in this activity are Google Classroom, Zoom Cloud Meetings, Kahoot, and Quizizz. The result of this activity is that teachers can create and utilize online learning media to facilitate the learning process.

Abstract

The background of this research is about a pandemic that has changed learning patterns from face-to-face to face-to-face. This causes the syllabus that existed before the pandemic to adapt to current conditions. In addition, this syllabus applies a project-based learning model and case studies. The purpose of this research is to explain and develop the syllabus of the Indonesian Language Editing course based on integrated Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the XXI century. This research uses research and development. The stages in this research, namely: first, explain the process of developing the syllabus for the integrated ICT-based Indonesian language editing course in the XXI century. Second, developing a syllabus for the XXI century integrated ICT-based Indonesian Language Editing course. Data collection techniques were obtained through tests and non-tests in the form of observations, questionnaires, and documentation and then processed using content analysis techniques. Based on this, the development of an integrated ICT-based syllabus in the XXI century was applied to level IV students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program to obtain effective learning outcomes in the Indonesian Language Editing course.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran project based learning pada mata kuliah Penyuntingan Bahasa Indonesia berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK). Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development). Tahapan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: pertama, melakukan analisis kebutuhan mahasiswa dalam model pembelajaran berbasis TIK yang relevan pada mata kuliah Penyuntingan Bahasa Indonesia. Kedua, mengintegrasi model pembelajaran berbasis TIK dengan RPS pada mata kuliah Penyuntingan Bahasa Indonesia. Ketiga, menjelaskan proses pengembangan model pembelajaran project based learning berbasis TIK pada mata kuliah Penyuntingan Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil pengolahan data pengembangan model pembelajaran project based learning pada mata kuliah penyuntingan bahasa indonesia berbasis TIK pada prates rata-ratanya 68,67, sedangkan post test diperoleh nilai rata-rata 85,09. Hasil tersebut naik sebesar 16,67. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, pengembangan model pembelajaran project based learning pada mata kuliah Penyuntingan Bahasa Indonesia berbasis TIK pada mahasiswa tingkat IV Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia memperoleh hasil yang efektif untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran.Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning, Penyuntingan Bahasa Indonesia, TIK AbstractThis study aims to develop a project-based learning model in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-based Indonesian Editing course. This study uses research and development. The stages in this research are: first, analyzing student needs in an ICT-based learning model that is relevant to the Indonesian Language Editing course. Second, integrating the ICT-based learning model with RPS in the Indonesian Language Editing course. Third, explain the process of developing an ICT-based project-based learning model in the Indonesian Language Editing course. The results of data processing for the development of a project-based learning model in the ICT-based Indonesian language editing course at the pre-test average were 68.67, while the post-test had an average score of 85.09. This result increased by 16.67. Based on this, the development of a project-based learning learning model in the ICT-based Indonesian Language Editing course for level IV students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program obtained effective results to be applied in learning.Keywords: Project-Based Learning Model, Indonesian Language Editing, ICT

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to develop a PQ4R learning strategy for learning to write short stories for junior high school students in Jakarta. The method used R and D through the ADDIE model. Data were taken using observation, learning to write results and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out through expert and peer assessment. The results of the study concluded that in the sixth step, discussion activities were added to discuss the results of short story writing and the peer assessment process. This strategy also had a positive impact on writing enthusiasm, increasing reading comprehension through reading activities in the third step. Students were also able to collaborate in developing short story writing. So, this research had implications for understanding the development of learning strategies that must be designed according to the character and needs of students and the learning objectives to be achieved. This model can be used in short story writing in class.

Abstract

Literasi digital memanfaatkan gawai sebagai alat untuk meningkatkan daya baca masyarakat. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya baca masyarakat melalui literasi digital menggunakan teknik pembacaan sepintas bagi remaja masjid di Kelurahan Bahagia Kecamatan Babelan Bekasi. Berdasarkan hasil survei dan wawancara kepada lurah di wilayah tersebut bahwa perlu peningkatan literasi yang diterapkan kepada masyarakat melalui literasi digital dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi saat ini. Metode demonstrasi dilakukan dengan cara peragaan dan penjelasan tata cara mengerjakan sesuatu melalui contoh maupun percobaan yang didemonstrasikan. Remaja masjid diwajibkan membawa gawai dan peralatan lain yang dibutuhkan. Selain itu, hasil kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan remaja masjid di Kelurahan Bahagia Kecamatan Babelan Bekasi dalam literasi digital. Literasi digital menggunakan teknik pembacaan sepintas diharapkan akan meningkatkan daya baca masyarakat.

Abstract

This research is about post-pandemic learning that changes online learning patterns to hybrid or offline. As a material for developing creativity, reading materials that are easy to understand and easy to use as references in writing are needed. Writing skills in stringing words are needed to produce quality writing. For most, writing in accordance with the Improved Spelling is not necessary. This is not justified and needs to be reviewed further, especially for students who choose the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Programme. Writing skills are needed in the learning process, especially in the Popular Writing Skills course. This research uses research and development. Students can start from the type of fiction story to make it easier to write it. There are various kinds of fiction stories such as novels, fairy tales, short stories, and others. Short stories are easier to make because the problems that occur are around.

Abstract

One factor that might affect poverty levels is education. For a country, combating poverty is not an easy or straightforward task. In this study, the illiteracy rate is used as a measure of education. Also, West Nusa Tenggara Province has seen a general decline in the illiteracy rate within the last five years. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between poverty and illiteracy in West Nusa Tenggara province in the year 2022. The illiteracy rate and percentage of the impoverished population are the variables used in this study, which draws data from the Central Statistics Agency of West Nusa Tenggara Province. According to the study's findings, illiteracy affects the poverty rate by 26%, while other variables account for the remaining 74%. A 0.469-unit increase in the poverty rate occurs for every 1-unit rise in the illiteracy rate.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to provide project-based learning-based teaching materials for editing courses. This study makes use of the ADDIE paradigm for research and development. Writing learning outcomes, questionnaires, and observation were utilized to collect research data. Expert and peer assessments provided the data for the analysis. The findings demonstrated that successful learning outcomes were achieved by developing project-based learning-based teaching materials for fourth-year Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program students in the Editing course. This helps students revise their writing more effectively, which enhances their writing abilities. Thus, the research's implications concern students' comprehension of modifying and creating instructional materials in order to meet learning objectives. This tactic has a big impact on learning.
