Abstract

This research aimed to understand: 1) Could The Teachers apply the learning models that maked condusive learning situation so could be implementation media for competence based curriculum 2) were the learning models maked the joyfull learning, stimulated activity and creativity, and stimulated life-skills for students. 3) were the learning models fasilated integration two or more subject maters. The participant of the study were 160 students 4 teachers and head of shcools from the 3rd and 4th SD 17 and SD 23 Kayu Agung, Ogan Komering Ilir; and from the fifth SD Kertapati and SD Plaju Palembang, South Sumatera. The reasearh procedure were followed: 1) Socialitation about the learning models for Teachers, Head of Schools and School supervisors. 2) Teachers were aplied the learning models at the each class. 3) Monitoring aplicability learning models by researher and school supervisor. 4) semi-structured interviewed from researcher to teachers and studets. The Data was analysed with qualitative method. The result showed: 1) The Teachers could apply The Concept Analysis Model, Experiential Learning Model, and the Group Inquary Model that make condusive learning situation and could be implementation media for Competent based curriculum. 2) Applicability the Learning Models make joyfull learning, stimulated activity and creativity, and stimulated life-skills for students. 3) The learning models fasilated integration the IPS with Bahasa Indonesia and PPKn. Abstract

The main problem in interpersonal communication anxiety is there are feeling of worried another respons or jugdment for her or him about something that sent and how she was send. Dependability for others judgment is one of characteristics from low self confidence. The purpose of the study was to see the relation between self confidence and interpersonal communication anxiety and differences between communication anxiety at male and female students. The subjects of this study were 61 female and 57 male students from Economic Faculty of UKRIM at Yogyakarta. The hypothesis were: 1. There is a negatif correlation between self confidence and interpersonal communication anxiety, 2. There is a difference communications anxiety between male and female studens. The first and the second hypothesis has analysed by Pearsons product moment correlation and by t test respectivelly. Data were gethered by Self confidence scale modification from Lauster (1978) and interpersonal communication anxiety scale modification from Syarani (1995). The result showed there was significant negatif correlation between self confidence and interpersonal communication anxiety (r = - 0,725 ; p < 0,01) and the t test showed a value of r = -0,678 and p > 0.05. From the values above, it could be concluded that there was no differences of interpersonal communication axxiety in male and female students.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to make an objective description about self concept of “Perempuan Marginal” (women in marginal social and economic status) by concerning the rearing environment characterization. The hypotesis was there is difference self-concept related in the rearing environmen. Data was collected from 77 subjects, 34 subjects upbringing by original family, 34 subject were reared in orphanage and the rest 9 subjects were taken from street children community. Data was gathered by Q-Sort test modification, observation, interview and also by Focus Group Discussion. Result shows that female teenagers from orphanage have the highest selfconcept, meanwhile female teenagers from street children community have the lowest self-concept. Abstract

The aim of the research was to investigate the relationship between women’s perception of menopause and their level of anxiety. Subjects were members of “Dharma Wanita” UGM. The research used Perception Scale to measure menopause perception, and Taylor Manifest Anxiety Scale (TMAS) to measure anxiety. Data analysis was done by using Product Moment Correlation analysis. This study found that was a significant negative correlation between perception of the menopause and level of anxiety. The correlation indicated that the more positive perception of menopause, the lower level of anxiety; the more negative perception of menopause, the higher level of anxiety. Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate differences using conflict management between students whose followed and not followed Pecinta Alam activities on to face interpersonal conflict in daily life. Subject of each group were 98 students. The study used measuring instruments in form of scale, namely conflict management scale that modified by Kurdek (1994) and Personality scale from Bortner. The parameters of the research were the state of following Pecinta Alam activity, sex and type of personality. By using 3 ways varians analysis, the result of the study were: 1. There was differences in the use of conflict management between the students whose followed and not followed Pecinta Alam activity, where the first one have the ability of the use of conflict management more constructive than the second one. 2. There was differences in the use of conflict management between men sudents and women students. 3. There was no difference in the use of conflict management between student with Personality type A and type B. Keywords: Conflict management, pecinta alam activity.

Abstract

There were facts t i i ~ ~ mutij)t students have no ability in, and feel anxious, when they have to speak in public (i.e. seminar, discussion, etc.j. The purpose ofthe research was to investigate the effectiveness of cognitive behavior therapy that given to minimize anxiety in public speaking. The subjects were studetlts ofthe Faculty of Psychology, Wangsa Manggala University in Yogvakarta, u~ho had atxiety in public speaking and volunteered to participate in the research. There were 20 student, ten were in the experimental group given the treatment of cognitive behavior therapy. The other ten were in the control group, would be given the therapy after the research had been completed. The subject's an~iet4, before and after the treatment were measured The experiment was conducted by two therapist in five sessions, each sessions was held in 90 minutes. The process of the experiment was observed, and recorded with audio tape recorder. The data was analized quantitatively and qualitatively. The quantitative data was analized with one-way Anove mixed I factor, and the data from the observational record and self report from the subjects were analized qualitatively. The results showed that there was a decrease in public-speaking anxiety of the experimental group. The mean before therapy was 104.300 and after therapy was 85.300. In the control group that had not been treated, there was an increase in anxiety between are pretest and the posttest. The pretest mean was 105.700 and the posttest was 112.800. The qualitative data analysis showed that The Cognitive Behavior Therapy had been usefull to reduce anxiety in public speaking

Abstract

Salah satu cara untuk emngatasi kesulitan berkomunikasi pada remaja adalah dengan diberi pelatihan. Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan komunikasi efektif pada kelompok remaja. Subjek penelitian adalah anggota karang taruna desa Sendangadi dan desa Tlogoadi Kecamatan Mlati, Kabupaten Sleman berjumlah 19 orang; 10 orang sebagai kelompok kontrol dan 9 orang sebagai kelompok eksperimen.
