Abstract

Pasangkayu Branch Post Office 91571 is one of the work units of PT.Pos Indonesia (Persero) whose working area covers 12 Districts in Pasangkayu Regency. Pasangkayu Branch Post Office 91571 as a public organization is required to be able to meet customer needs as service users by providing quality public services. If this is done with continuous improvement efforts according to customer needs, it will have an impact on meeting customer satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the quality of public services at the Pasangkayu 91571 Post Office. This research uses qualitative research. Data collection techniques in research using techniques: observation, interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the quality of public services at the Pasangkayu 91571 Post Office has not been maximally implemented because it has not fulfilled customer satisfaction in providing postal services. This is evidenced by the 5 indicators that are used as benchmarks in the study, there is one focus of the study that is not fulfilled, namely the indicators of physical evidence (tangible) where there are inadequate service waiting room facilities so that customers feel uncomfortable waiting in line. The four other indicators, namely reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy (empathy) have supported the maximum quality of service at the Pasangkayu 91571 Post Office. Abstract

Covid-19 merupakan penyakit yang menginfeksi saluran pernapasan akut dan disebabkan oleh Coronavirus Strain Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2 yang kali pertama teridentifikasi di 2019 akhir, tepatnya di kota Wuhan, Provinsi Hubei Cina (Beiu et al., 2020). Sumber data dari (COVID & Team, 2020), Indonesia pun mulai terpapar oleh Covid-19 dan per tanggal 17 Maret 2020 sebanyak 172 orang. Menjaga kebersihan tangan secara rutin pun merupakan salah satu cara mencegah penyebaran Covid-19 pada masyarakat (Beiu et al., 2020) dan upaya pemakaian masker (Greenhalgh et al., 2020). Masker dapat digunakan baik untuk melindungi orang yang sehat dan juga untuk orang yang terinfeksi untuk mencegah penularan lebih lanjut. Berdasarkan hasil observasi lapangan dalam suatu kunjungan pada salah satu Desa,masih terdapat masyarakat tidak patuh dalam menggunakan masker. Adapun tujuan dibuatnya kegiatan ini yaitu; Memberikan pemahaman dan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang manfaat dan pentingnya penggunaan masker. Sehingga penyebaran dan penularan Covid-19 dapat diminimalisir.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui life skill dan perbedaan hasil belajar biologi mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model kooperatif Talking Stick dan mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model koopertif puzzle. Berdasarkan observasi hingga saat ini hasil belajar biologi masih dianggap rendah. Berdasarkan observasi dikelas A dan C mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Biologi, pembelajaran biologi masih pasif dan monoton karena bergantung pada penjelasan dosen. Pola pembelajaran di kelas selama ini sering menggunakan metode ceramah, oleh sebab itu keterlibatan siswa kurang, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi kurang menyenangkan dan siswa kurang aktif dan kreatif dalam menerima materi pembelajaran, selain itu permasalahan yang terjadi dalam proses kegiatan belajar hanya didominasi oleh sebagian kecil mahasiswa, sedang siswa yang lain hanya diam dan tidak paham dengan materi pembelajaran yang mengakibatkan aktivitas proses pembelajaran kurang efektif atau tujuan pembelajaran tidak tercapai. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan treatment yang digunakan untuk mencari pengaruh perlakuan tertentu dalam kondisi yang terkendalikan. Metode ini merupakan bagian dari metode kuantitatif yang mempunyai ciri khas dengan adanya kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen yang akan berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan life skill dan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran talking stick dan Puzzle.

Abstract

Kantor Pos Cabang Pasangkayu 91571 merupakan salah satu unit kerja dari PT.Pos Indonesia (Persero) yang wilayah kerjanya meliputi 12 Kecamatan yang ada di Kabupaten Pasangkayu. Kantor Pos Cabang Pasangkayu 91571 sebagai organisasi publik dituntut harus mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan sebagai pengguna jasa dengan melakukan pelayanan publik yang berkualitas. Apabila hal ini dilakukan dengan upaya perbaikan terus-menerus sesuai kebutuhan pelanggan akan berdampak pada pemenuhan kepuasan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas pelayanan publik di Kantor Pos Cabang Pasangkayu 91571. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik : observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan Teknik reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian meneunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan publik pada Kantor Pos Cabang Pasangkayu 91571 belum terlaksana secara maksimal dikarenakan belum memenuhi kepuasan pelanggan dalam pemberian pelayanan pos. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan 5 indikator yang dijadikan tolak ukur dalam penelitian, ada satu fokus kajian yang tidak terpenuhi yaitu indikator bukti fisik (tangible) dimana belum memadainya fasilitas ruang tunggu pelayanan sehingga pelannggan merasa kurang nyaman dalam menunggu antrian. Adapun empat indikator lainnya yaitu Kehadalan (reliability), Daya tanggap (responsiveness), Jaminan (assurance), dan Empati (empathy) sudah menunjang kualitas pelayanan dengan maksimal di Kantor Pos Cabang Pasangkayu 91571. Abstract

Kampung Bambu Alu, is a program for developing a tourist destination, bamboo center and sustainable ecotourism site in Alu Village. The village is located in Alu District, Polewali Mandar Regency, West Sulawesi. This program has been running since last year and involving 3 main partners, namely, the Alu Local Government, Cahaya Uwai Manurung Craftsmen Group and the Alu Youth Community Forum (Forum Komunitas Pemuda Alu). However, there are still a number of problems encountered by partners and Alu people, from the decrease of income and productivity due to the pandemi to the lack of use of e-marketing. All these problems may potentially jeopardize the sustainability of this bamboo and ecotourism business in the future. For that, PPDM team from Universitas Sulawesi Barat through the Partner Village Development Program (PPDM) Year 2 has carried out a series of follow-up activities for realizing an Ecotourism Village “Kampung Bambu Alu”. Some activities that have been carried out including the socialization of PPDM Year 2 with the Covid-19 Socialization, Workshop on Ecotourism and Bamboo Products, IT and E-Commerce Workshop, adding the production equipment for bamboo products, making murals for photo spots, and publications for both journals and mass media. All these activities has posed some impacts on the economic and social aspects of Alu people. These include increasing the demands for Alu bamboo products, increasing the income of the community, increasing the quality and quantity of the products produced by Alu bamboo craftsmen, and increasing the public awareness in implementing the health protocols.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Ekofeminisme Gerakan Chipko di India ntuk mengetahui kontribusi ekofeminisme terhadap gerakan Chipko di India serta mengetahui pengaruh gerakan Chipko dalam upaya perlindungan dan advokasi ekologi di India pasca 1995. Dua fenomena yang kemudian dirangkai dalam satu konsep ekofeminisme yang melahirkan gerakan Chipko di India. Gerakan Chipko kemudian menjadi menarik karena menjadi gerakan Ekofeminisme di negara dengan sistem patriarki yang mengakar dalam masyarakat. Adapun konsep yang digunakan adalah Ekofeminisme dan Gerakan Sosial Baru (GSB). Kontribusi dari ekofeminisme terhadap gerakan Chipko kemudian dapat diukur dari partisipasi perempuan sebagai pelopor dan relawan gerakan Chipko. Dalam sistem patriarki India, branding gerakan Chipko sebagai gerakan ekofeminisme berpengaruh pada partisipasi perempuan dalam gerakan tersebut. Parameter kedua adalah konsistensi isu perempuan disuarakan dalam kampanye dan pidato. Narasi-narasi ekofeminisme disampaikan melalui kampanye ataupun pidato tokoh gerakan Chipko di berbagai forum. Kontribusi gerakan Chipko terhadap advokasi dan ekologi di India kemudian cukup besar karena mampu mempengaruhi ranah kebijakan otoritas di India.

Abstract

During the past decade, China has been striving for a more prominent status in the international community. In doing so, China undertook several measures that indicate its willingness to become a supportive collaborator in the international politics, including taking a part in the Six Party Talks regarding to the North Korean nuclear issue as well as striving for the Market Economy Status (MES). However, the recent development of the South China Sea dispute seems to show a contrasting circumstance. As one of the claimant states, China showed a fairly aggressive gesture in expanding and exploiting the disputed territory. Recently, China even declared a refusal against the verdict from the international law which stated that China had no legal base in claiming the territory. This situation sparked a puzzle as the non-compliance against the international law seemed to be violating China’s on- going efforts to win the broader acceptance in the international community. Thus, using two different perspectives, namely structural realism and social constructivism, this study analyses puzzle and finds the contextual relevance behind China’s non- compliance policy. The overall findings show that the rational interest of pursuing the hegemony in the disputed region becomes the primary goal that China is pursuing beyond the interest of adhering to the international law.

Abstract

The year of 2018 is a sign that the implementation of the ASEAN Community agenda has entered its third year. In other words, by now we can expect to see the progress of the integrated programs from the ASEAN Community. More specifically, the initial output from the development of the tourism sector in sub-urban and rural areas in Indonesia should now be assessible. Based on these considerations, this research is initiated. In this case, West Sulawesi is definitely a province that is still relatively young and includes several districts and many villages that are still developing. But on the other hand, the province actually has a considerable potential in tourism, especially in terms of developing natural and coastal tourism sites. Therefore, using a combination of structured interview and process tracing methods, this study analyzes the outputs and initial results of tourism development in West Sulawesi for three years since the start of ASEAN Community in 2015. The results of the study indicate that there has not been a significant increase or strategic improvement in the development of tourism infrastructures in West Sulawesi during the period of 2015-2018. But on the other hand, there is a significant increase in the number of foreign tourists in West Sulawesi during this period which is mainly generated by the application of event-based tourism activities.

Abstract

ABSTRAKProgram Pengembangan Desa Mitra (PPDM) di Desa Alu, Polewali Mandar, Sulawesi Barat telah memasuki tahun yang ketiga. Tujuan dari program ini adalah untuk mewujudkan Desa Bambu Alu sebagai sentra ekowisata berkelanjutan berbasis kerajinan bambu, dimana Desa Alu dikenal memiliki hutan bambu yang luas yang sangat berpotensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai  pusat pariwisata di wilayah ini. Pada tahun ke ketiga ini, tim PPDM melakukan observasi pemetaan isu terkait  potensi atau kelebihan dan permasalahan atau kelemahan sekaligus analisis kesediaan membayar (willingness to pay)  di Hutan Bambu Alu berdasarkan aspirasi pengunjung dan calon pengunjung. Observasi dilakukan dengan penyusunan dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 43 responden yang berpartisipasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil hipotesis pasar, dapat disimpulkan bahwa para pengunjung dan calon pengunjung cukup setuju bahwa Hutan Bambu Alu memiliki potensi yang besar dengan produk bambu sebagai daya tarik tersendiri, serta peran pemerintah daerah setempat sangat signifikan dalam pencapaian Hutan Bambu Alu sebagai sentra ekowisata. Namun di sisi lain, kondisi alam dapat mengancam keberlangsungan dari ekowisata Hutan Bambu Alu, serta Hutan Bambu Alu belum memiliki pemetaan rencana atau master plan yang jelas dalam pembangunan visi ekowisata ke depannya. Dari aspek nilai lelang atau penawaran, didapati bahwa harga tiket masuk di kisaran Rp. 2.000 dan Rp. 3.000 adalah nilai yang paling sesuai bagi para pengunjung dan calon pengunjung di Hutan Bambu Alu.. Selain itu, nilai paket wisata di harga Rp. 150.000 adalah yang paling pas untuk ditawarkan kepada para pengunjung dan calon pengunjung. Dari aspek fasilitas penunjang, mayoritas pengunjung dan calon pengunjung cukup puas dengan ketersediaan fasilitas di Hutan Bambu Alu, terkecuali untuk kualitas jalanan yang masih kurang baik serta aksibilitas menuju area Hutan Bambu Alu yang masih meragukan.Kata kunci: PPDM; Ekowisata; Hutan Bambu Alu; Pemetaan Isu; Willingness to Pay ABSTRACTThe Partner Village Development Program (PPDM) in Alu Village, Polewali Mandar, West Sulawesi has entered its third year. The aim of this program is to realize Alu Bambu Village as a center for sustainable ecotourism based on bamboo crafts, since Alu Village is commonly known for its large bamboo forest which has the potential to be developed as a tourism center in this region. In this third year, the PPDM team maps the issues related to potential or strengths and problems or weaknesses as well as an analysis of willingness to pay in Alu Bamboo Forest based on the aspirations of visitors and potential visitors. Observations were made by compiling and distributing questionnaires to the 43 participating respondents. The results show that from the market hypothesis, it can be concluded that visitors and potential visitors quite agree that the Alu Bamboo Forest has great potential with bamboo products as its main attraction, and the role of the local government is very significant in achieving the Alu Bamboo Forest as an ecotourism center. But on the other hand, natural conditions can threaten the sustainability of the Alu Bamboo Forest ecotourism, and the Alu Bamboo Forest does not yet have a clear master plan in the development of an ecotourism vision in the future. From the aspect of the value of the auction or bidding, it is found that the ticket price within the range of Rp. 2,000 and Rp. 3,000 is the most suitable value for visitors and potential visitors to the Alu Bamboo Forest. In addition, the price of the tour package of Rp. 150,000 is the most appropriate to offer to visitors and potential visitors. From the aspect of supporting facilities, the majority of visitors and prospective visitors are quite satisfied with the availability of facilities in the Alu Bamboo Forest, except for the poor quality of the roads and the accessibility to the Alu Bamboo Forest area which is still questionable.Keywords: PPDM; Ecotourism; Alu Bamboo Forest; Mapping of Issue; Willingness to Pay
