Abstract

The purpose of this research is to get the extent of the congregation's understanding of premarital guidance correctly. In this study, the authors used a qualitative research method, namely, a questionnaire to the Seventh-day Adventist Church in North Karo district with a sample of 150 randomly selected people.The study results indicate that, in general, respondents understand premarital guidance. However, on the other hand, they argue that premarital guidance is a requirement for marriage. They often attend a premarital counseling series when they havedetermined the date of their marriage. The expected implication of this research is that the congregation can properly understand the purpose of premarital guidance so that they come not to get married but to understand marriage. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan sejauh mana pemahaman jemaat terhadap bimbingan pranikah dengan benar. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yaitu dengan menggunakan angket kuesioner kepada jemaat Gereja Masehi Advent Hari Ketujuh (GMAHK) Distrik Karo Utara dengan sampel 150 orang yang ditentukan secara acak. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada umumnya responden memahami dan mengerti apa itu bimbingan pranikah. Namun disatu sisi mereka berpendapat bahwa bimbingan pranikah itu adalah sebuah syarat untuk menikah sehingga membuat mereka sering datang untuk mengikuti seri bimbingan pranikah ketika sudah menentukan tanggal pernikahannya. Implikasi yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini jemaat dapat mengerti dan memahami dengan baik dan benar akan tujuan dari bimbingan pranikah sehingga mereka datang bukan untuk mendapat syarat menikah melainkan mendapat pemahaman tentang sebuah pernikahan.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is that every pastor pays attention to how to approach members of his congregation, especially a cross-cultural approach, so that it is easier to provide the best service if you are familiar with the culture of the congregation being served. Each region has a different culture. And a minister of God or pastor in ministry is often placed in a place that is different from its culture and customs. For success in the ministry of a Pastor it is necessary to study and understand the local culture and customs. This approach through cultural understanding will make it easier for God's ministers to win the hearts of the local population and adapt the preaching of the gospel to the culture of the local community. The approach through understanding the local culture as well as the local language, makes it easier to communicate the truth of God's word. This study uses a qualitative method that describes the importance of a cross-cultural approach in pastoral care, with the hope that the service will be more pleasing to the members it serves.Abstrak: Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah agar setiap gembala memperhatikan cara pendekatan kepada anggota jemaatnya, terutama pendekatan lintas budaya, sehingga lebih mudah untuk memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik apabila mengenal dengan baik budaya jemaat yang dilayani. Setiap daerah memiliki budaya yang berbeda-beda. Dan seorang pelayan Tuhan atau pendeta dalam pelayanan sering ditempatkan di suatu tempat yang berbeda dengan budaya dan adat istiadatnya. Untuk keberhasilan dalam pelayanan seorang Pendeta adalah perlu untuk mempelajari serta memahami budaya serta adat istiadat setempat. Pendekatan melalui pemahaman budaya ini akan memudahkan para pelayan Tuhan untuk memenangkan hati penduduk setempat serta menyesuaikan pengabaran Injil dengan budaya masyarakat setempat. Pendekatan melalui pemahaman budaya lokal dan juga bahasa lokal, memudahkan untuk mengkomunikasikan kebenaran firman Tuhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang memaparkan pentingnya pendekatan lintas budaya dalam pelayanan penggembalaan, sehingga tercipta sebuah pelayanan yang berkenan kepada anggota yang dilayaninya.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is so that every Christian has a correct understanding of service in the heavenly Temple, which is the foundation of the Christian faith. So that every Christian is obliged to have a theological understanding of the understanding of the sanctuary and its ministry. This research method uses a qualitative method of literature review. Having an understanding of the temple makes a complete foundation of belief that must be studied and believed. The tabernacle is a symbol of God's presence in the midst of His people the Israelites, and is the center of the worship system. The tabernacle built by Moses, was built according to the pattern or pattern in heaven. The temple that Moses built in the desert, proves God's longing to remain silent among His people. The Temple is the real proof of God's presence with His people on earth.
