Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning motivation, and student learning outcomes by using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in class X MIA MA Darul Aminin NW Aikmual. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with descriptive methods. The subjects of this study were all students of class X MIA MA Darul Aminin NW Aikmual. The research procedure was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation 4) reflection. The variables of this study are the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, student motivation and student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, questionnaires and tests. The research instruments used were observation sheets, questionnaire sheets and test sheets. The percentage of students' motivation in the first cycle that has high motivation is 63.63% and the motivation category is 36.36% and 0% is low category. Student learning motivation in the second cycle increased to 86.3% in the high category, 13.7% in the medium category and 0% in the low category. Attitude learning outcomes data in the first cycle was 3.59 increased in the second cycle to 3.64. Student learning outcomes experience mastery learning in the first cycle of 64% with the number of students completing 14 students and students not completing 8 students. Analysis of student learning outcomes in cycle II experienced mastery learning that is equal to 88% with the number of students completing 20 students and students not completing 3 students. It can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model can increase motivation and learning outcomes of X MIA MA Darul Aminin NW Aikmual class X students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning methods on chemistry learning. Multimedia-assisted guided inquiry is that students are encouraged to be actively involved in the teaching and learning process. In order to provide proper visualization, tools are needed to stimulate it with temporal multimedia (audio, video and animation). This study used a quasi-experimental design (Quasy-Experimental) with a pretest-posttest control group design. The instruments used in this study were the lesson plan (RPP) and multiple choice test question sheets. Before the instrument is used in the sample, the instrument is tested first with a validity test, a reliability test, a discriminating power test, and a difficulty level test. The sample taken in this study is class XI IPA-1 using guided inquiry model assisted by multimedia and XI IPA-2 using conventional methods. The average chemistry learning outcomes of students in class XI IPA at SMA Negeri 1 Sikur who were taught with guided inquiry learning with multimedia assistance was higher than students who were taught using conventional methods, this can be seen from the average pretest score of the control class of 65.7 and the experimental class by 64.8. Then for the posttest results shown, the control class average score is 76.9 and for the experimental class 83.8. There is an effect of guided inquiry learning method with multimedia assistance on chemistry learning outcomes of class XI IPA students.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research purpose to increase student learning motivation, and student learning outcomes using Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in the X class of MIA MA Darul Aminin NW Aikmual. The variables of this research are the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, student learning motivation and student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, questionnaires and tests. The research instrument used was the observation sheet, questionnaire sheet and test sheet. The percentage of student learning motivation in the first cycle who has high motivation is 63.63% and medium category motivation is 36.36% and 0% is low category. Students' learning motivation in cycle II has increased to be 86.3% high category, 13.7% medium category and 0% low category. The attitudes learning outcome data in the first cycle was 3.59, increasing in the second cycle to 3.64. Student learning outcomes experienced learning completeness, namely in the first cycle of 64% with 14 students completed and 8 incompleted students. The analysis of student learning outcomes in cycle II experienced learning completeness which was 88% with 20 students completed and 3 incompleted students. It can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model can improve motivation and learning outcomes in the X class of MIA MA Darul Aminin NW Aikmual.

Abstract

This study was aimed at analyzing the difficulties of teachers in developing students' higher order thinking skills in learning biology. The populations of this study were all teachers at SMAS IT Dhiaul Fikri and MA Darul Aminin. The samples of this study were all biology subject teachers at SMAS IT Dhiaul Fikri and MA Darul Aminin. Data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews with Biology teachers. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. Descriptive statistics function to describe or provide an overview of the object under study with the aim of summarizing the data so that it is easy to understand through data samples or populations. The difficulties faced by teachers in developing students' higher-order thinking skills are: teachers find it difficult to cope with the different abilities of students, teachers are less able to determine appropriate learning methods and models, lack of understanding about developing higher order thinking skills, less able to adjust the questions with operational verbs contained in the learning indicators, and have not been able to cope with students who have different ways of showing their ability to think.

Abstract

The method of role playing in learning is a teaching and learning process in which students themselves are mentally active, building their knowledge, which is based on the cognitive structure they have. The teacher has a more role as a facilitator and mediator of learning. This study aims to determine the effect of role playing methods on cognitive learning outcomes in terms of student learning activities. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method. The research design used a "post-test only control group design" which involved two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The population in this study were all students of class X MIA MA Darul Aminin NW Aikmual, Central Lombok Regency. While the research sample was 39 students of class X MIA at the MA. Student learning outcomes were measured using a test in the form of multiple choice questions, and student learning activities were obtained using a questionnaire. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the role playing method has an effect on student cognitive learning outcomes, because the significance value is 0.046 <0.05. The student learning activity factor for the cognitive domain obtained a significance value of 0.030 <0.05. The data shows that, student learning activities affect student cognitive learning outcomes. The interaction of the role palying method with student learning activities for the cognitive domain obtained a significance value of 0.227 <0.05, so this data shows that there is an interaction between the role playing method and student learning activities on student cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of biology science learning in MTs students. Darul Aminin NW Aikmual, Central Lombok Regency through inductive thinking model (inductive thinking). The subjects in this study were students of class VII MTs. Darul Aminin NW Aikmual, Central Lombok Regency. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets to collect data about teacher and student activities during the learning process, and student cognitive learning outcomes test sheets. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the following steps: planning, implementing the action, observing, and reflecting. The approach used to study the problem is a qualitative approach and a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used are: observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it was found that, in the first cycle the completeness of student learning outcomes obtained a percentage of completeness of 54.28% belonging to the fairly active category. Whereas in cycle II, the percentage of completeness is 88.57% which is classified as active category. This shows an increase in biology science learning outcomes in class VII MTs students. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan Model Pembelajaran Treffinger terhadap Keterampilan Pemecahan Masalah Siswa SMA . Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Penelitian ini menggunakan dua perlakuan, yaitu perlakuan pertama berupa penggunaan model pembelajaran Treffinger dan perlakuan lainnya menggunakan pembelajaran yang biasa digunakan oleh guru. Terdapat satu variabel terikat yang diamati, yaitu keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMAN 3 Selong dan yang dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X. 2 dan X. 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran treffinger berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada siswa di SMAN 3 Selong. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis hipotesis menggunakan uji T, yaitu dengan nilai sig. (2-tailed) adalah sebesar 0,003 < 0,05. Hal tersebut berarti bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran treffinger berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze several related journals to the impact of the online learning at covid-19 pandemic. The method of this research used literature study or meta-analysis which aims to analyze variousrelated journals to the theme raised. The results of the analysis obtained show that learning during the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on students, teachers and parents. The impact on students' learning are motivation is still low, students feel bored due to the closure of schools that are too long and the lack of infrastructure that supports online learning. The impact on teachers are, for senior teachers, they have to learn more in using technology because they are accustomed face-to-face learning, and the learning is not optimal because the implementation of online learning is not evenly distributed for all students and learning tends to be teacher centered. The impact on parents are additional expenses used to buy internet quotas to support online learning by their children, and parents must be able to share their time with their daily activities with the time to guide their children during online learning. Lack of internet access is also a barrier to online learning.

Abstract

Serewe Bay is one of the bays in the Lombok area, West Nusa Tenggara which is vulnerable to natural disasters including the Big Wave. For this reason, the researcher aims to determine the types of plants that play a role in mitigating big waves and the density level of the mangrove ecosystem in Serewe Bay. This research was conducted using the Belt Transect method, namely in Serewe Bay. Mangrove plant data were obtained by making plots at each research location. In each plot, 3 plots were made, namely 10 x 10 m (for trees), 5 x 5 m (saplings), and 2 x 2 m (for seedlings). Mangroves in Serewe Bay found 6 species that have the potential to mitigate big waves, namely Sonneracia alba with a relative density of seedlings (14.64%), Saplings (29.12%), Trees (73.33%). Dolichandrone spathacea relative density of seedlings (10.18%), Saplings (15.06%) Trees (12.33%). Rhizopora mucronata with a relative density of seedlings (10.14%), Saplings (20.65%), Trees (10.33%). Avicennia ofiicinalis relative density of seedlings (6.90%), Saplings (31.14%), Trees (9.33%). Casuarina equisetifolia relative density of seedlings (5.58%), Saplings (20.10%), Trees (8.33%). Hibiscus tillaceus relative density of seedlings (4.45%), Saplings (14.10%), Trees (5.67%).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate community participation in the management of the Jor Bay mangrove ecosystem in East Lombok. This research is a qualitative descriptive. This research was conducted in November 2022 in the area around the Jor Bay mangrove forest, Jerowaru District, East Lombok Regency. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires, interviewing informants and direct observation. In particular, in this study, the focus on sampling of respondents was the residents of Pare Mas Village. The results of this study indicate that the community around the Jor Bay Mangrove Forest, especially the people of Pare Mas Village, have a real participation or role in the management of the Jor Bay mangrove forest.
