Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dengan media kartu soal untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Kota Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII 5 SMP Negeri 3 Kota Bengkulu. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa tes akhir siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Hasil belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan cara menggunakan kartu soal, menggunakan alat peraga, membimbing siswa, mengumumkan nilai tes akhir. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata siswa dari siklus I sampai siklus III yaitu: 67,76; 75; 83,24 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal dari siklus I sampai siklus III yaitu 37,14%; 57,14%; 82,85%

Abstract

AbstractThe study aimed to describe the level of effectiveness of the comic media on the subjects of the three dimentionals characters for Student’s Grade V SD Negeri 61 Kota Bengkulu. The research type is research development. Effectiveness was tested on 30 students of grade VB SD Negeri 61 Kota Bengkulu even semester of academic year 2016/2017. The indicators of effectiveness of comic media seen from the criteria of student activity in learning activities, criteria of student response to learning and average learning outcomes. The results showed that the comics developed were categorized effective with the achievement of effectiveness: (1) Active student activity with average score of student activity 3,93; (2) Student response to the learning process is very good with an average score of 4,05; (3) The result of student learning VB SD Negeri 61 Kota Bengkulu effective with the completeness of learning classical students reach 76,67 % and the average value of 79,31.Keywords: Development Research, Comic Media, Math Lesson.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to find out how to apply the Mastery Learning model assisted LKPD can improve the activity and student’s learning outcomes. This research was a classroom action research with data collection technique through observation sheet of student’s activity and test of student’s learning result. The subjects of this research were Class VIII.3 SMP Negeri 4 Kota Bengkulu academic year 2016/2017 which amounted to 35 students. The results showed the application of Mastery Learning model assisted LKPD can improve the students learning outcomes by linking the learning material with the daily life, motivating to ask questions, as well as guide in doing the exercise questions. Improved learning outcomes can be seen from the average value of students in the cycle I to cycle III that is in the cycle I 66,21 with the percentage of learning completeness that is 42.86%; in the cycle II 79,14 with the percentage of learning completeness that is 68.57%; and in the cycle III 89,50 with the percentage of learning completeness that is 91.43%.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, LKPD, Mastery Learning.

Abstract

Learners are directly related to what the teacher in learning activities and become direct experience of learners. Learning gives real meaning to the learner. By providing props based on mathematical learning environment will give meaning to the other disciplines. By learning math using environment-based learning tools teachers will associate with other subjects. The use of instructional media in teaching and learning is still lacking although the schools have had excellent facilities. This is caused by lack of knowledge and skills of elementary school teachers in the city of Bengkulu in using objects that are available around the environment to be a source of learning, especially math used as props. One of the utilization of objects that exist around the environment in mathematics is a manufacture of environment-based learning tools. The method used is a demonstration, assignments, discussions and question and answer. Through this service activities gained six props is a digital clock, the positive and negative card, card number, card mirroring, square blocks and funnel Commission. The implications of this activity is that it can terbentukya props based math environment more creative, to other subject matter. The conclusion of this study is to improve the ability of teachers to use and utilize existing objects around the environment to be used as props in learning. Keywords: Training, Maths Props, Primary School Teacher

Abstract

This study aims to find out the mistake of students in solving math problems on the material integer arithmetic operations. This research is a descriptive research. The subjects were 25 students of class V SDN 88 Bengkulu City Odd Semester Academic Year 2017/2018. Data collection techniques used in this research that tests. Analysis of the data in this study was done descriptively. The results showed the students make the mistake of using the basic competence to determine the prime factors the Commission and the FPB, and resolve issues related to arithmetic operations, the Commission and the FPB, based on indicators: (1)Using the prime factors and prime factorization to solve everyday problems associated with the FPB in even numbers as much as 6 students, (2) using the prime factors and prime factorization to solve everyday problems associated with the FPB in an even number and odd as many as 15 students (3) Using the prime factors and prime factorization to solve everyday problems associated with the Commission on an even number as many as 14 students, (4) Using the prime factors and prime factorization to solve everyday problems associated with the Commission on an even number and odd as many as 18 students, (5a) Solve problems related to the FPB as many as 25 students, (5b) Solve problems related to the FPB as many as 24 students, (6a) Solve problems related to the Commission by 24 students,and (6b) Solve the problems associated with the Commission as many as 23 students.

Abstract

Teaching materials designed using local contexts are important in improving students' literacy skills. The lack of teaching materials to support these skills causes low student literacy achievements in elementary schools. This study aims to design a course book, grounded in the coastal context of Bengkulu, to enhance the literacy skills of elementary school students. The research employs a developmental approach using the ADDIE model, which encompasses five stages: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The subjects of the study are fifth-grade students from elementary schools in Bengkulu City. The study is conducted in three phases: expert trials, limited trials, and wide-scale trials. Data is collected through both tests and non-tests. The instruments used for data collection include product validity sheets, practicality questionnaires, and literacy test instruments. Descriptive statistical analysis is utilized for data analysis. The result of the research suggests that the course book, based on the Bengkulu coastal context, meets the criteria for validity, and practicality, and effectively enhances the literacy skills of elementary school students. Teaching materials that integrate with coastal contexts have been proven to support students' thinking skills, one of which is mathematical literacy.
