Abstract

Every child is born with creative potential, but this potential may be stifled if care is not taken to nurture and stimulate creativity. Creativity is the ability to see things in a new and unusual sight, to see problems that no one else may even realize exist, and then come up with new, unusual, and effective solutions to these problems. Children like to try out different ways, experiment with different materials, and see what they can do creatively. Finding different ways to exspressing themselves physically satisfies the urge for creative action. But it must be their ways, their ides, and their accomplishment. Physical education gives children opportunity for exploratory and creative activity. Children need an opportunity to tray out their own ideas, solve some of their own movement problems and bring forth movement of their own origin. Teachers need to take advantage of this drive by providing opportunity for the child to come up with his own movement ideas. Kata kunci: Kreatifitas, pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani

Abstract

Abstract

For the last two decades the teaching games for understanding (TGFU) approach has caused considerable debate in games teaching. The TGFU focuses upon teaching students tactical understanding before dealing with the performance of skills, as such the TGFU offers a tactical approach to games teaching emphasizing game performance before skill performance. The aim of a tactical approach is to improve students game performance, which involves combining tactical awareness and skill execution. Tactical awareness, critical to game performance, is the ability to identify tactical problems that arises during a game and to select the appropriate responses to solve them. In tactical approach, students are placed in a game situation that emphasizes maintaining possesion before identifying and practicing passing, ball control, or support as solution to the problem. Abstract

Pendidikan dan pengembangan olahraga merupakan bagian dan upayapeningkatan kualitas manusia Indonesia yang ditujukan pada peningkatankesehatan jasmani dan rohani seluruh masyarakat, pemupukan watak, disiplindan sportivitas serta pengembangan prestasi olahraga yang dapatmembangkitkan rasa kebanggaan nasional.Kualitas dari pendidikan jasmani sebenarnya terletak pada totalitas kurikulumuntuk dapat mencakup tujuan umum dari pendidikan jasmani di sekolah. Tujuanumum pendidikan jasmani ada pada wilayah (1) perkembangan keterampilan Gerak,(2) perkembangan kebugaran jasmani, (3) perkembangan perceptual motorik,(4) perkembangan sosial emosional, (5) perkembangan penalaran, dan (6)perkembangan penggunaan waktu luang.pendidikan jasmani akan selalu melekat pada pendidikan secara keseluruhan,dan tidak ada pendidikan yang lengkap tanpa adanya pendidikan jasmani.Keberadannya akan bermanfaat secara optimal manakala kurikulum yangmenaunginya dapat secara total dirancang, dan dilaksanakan dengan benar.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Jasmani, Conditio Sine Qua Non

Abstract

The attainment study of the physical education and sport in Yogyakarta province is an attempt to reveals the realcondition relates to the assumption of increasingly low quality of physical education and sport in the educationalunits that have been discussed for more. Instrument used to collect the data adopted from Indonesia physicaleducation data-base to the educational units more than 3.000 schools. In-depth study analysis showed thatphysical education and sport attainment in Yogyakarta province in ‘C’ category, which means in average with50.5% percentage. It can be concluded physical education and sport attainment not to expect to achieveeducational goals.Keywords: attainment, physical education and sportAbstrakKajian keterlaksanaan pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga di DIY merupakan upaya untuk mengetahui kondisiriil di lapangan berkaitan dengan asumsi makin rendahnya kualitas pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga disatuan-satuan pendidikan yang selama ini banyak diperbincangkan. Instrumen yang digunakan untukmengumpulkan data diadopsi dari Pangkalan Data Pendidikan Jasmani dan Olahraga Indonesia, terhadapsatuan-satuan pendidikan di DIY yang berjumlah lebih dari 3000 sekolah. Hasil pengkajian menunjukkanbahwa keterlaksanan pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga di DIY berada pada kategori C yang berarti hanyamasuk klasifikasi sedang dengan prosentase keterlaksanaan sebesar 50,5%. Sehingga dapat dikatakan belummencapai tujuan pendidikan yang diharapkan.Kata kunci: Keterlaksanaan, Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga

Abstract

In the learning process of the physical education at the elementary school,actually there are many thoughts of Ki Hajar Dewantara, the national education’sfather, still relevant to and necessary to contemplate to be applied by the physicaleducation teachers.His thoughts, such as independence principality as the educational principality, arecharacterizing the self-supporting, productive and creative, and also high-disciplinedhuman being. Implicitly the thoughts are in accordance with the target of the physicaleducation that is to develop discipline, skill, fitness, reasoning, and social emotion.If Ki Hajar Dewantara becomes a physical education teacher, there will be no doubtthat his thoughts will be used as main foundations for efficiently and effectively physicaleducation learning process, to reach the targets of national education.Keyword: Ki Hajar Dewantara, Physical Education, Elementary School teacher.

Abstract

Life skills are essentially those abilities that help promote mental well-being and competence in young people as they face the realities of life. Most development professionals agree that life skills are generally applied in the context of health and social events. Children like to try out different ways, experiment with different materials, and see what they can do creatively to grasp the life skill. Finding different ways to exspressing themselves physically satisfies the urge for life skill action. But it must be their ways, their ides, and their accomplishment. Physical education gives children opportunity for exploratory and creative activity toward life skill. Children need an opportunity to tray out their own ideas, solve some of their own life problems and bring forth life skill development of their own origin. Keywords: Life skill, physical education
