<![CDATA[AbstrakPendahuluan: Akne vulgaris merupakan penyakit kulit umum yang sering dialami oleh setiap usia remaja dan dewasa muda. Akne tidak hanya berdampak pada penampilan, namun juga berdampak terhadap psikologis karena akne akan menyebabkan penderitanya mengalami depresi sehingga dapat menurunkan kualitas hidupnya. Tujuan penelitian: Untuk mengetahui hubungan derajat keparahan akne vulgaris dengan kualitas hidup mahasiswa angkatan 2017 Fakultas Kedokteran di Universitas Baiturrahmah Padang. Metode: Rancangan penelitian analitik observasional dengan cross-sectional dan cara pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive consecutive sampling dengan total sampel sebanyak 57 responden. Analisis data secara statistik menggunakan uji Chi-square. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa akne ringan merupakan derajat akne terbanyak yaitu 53 responden (93,0 %) dan interpretasi skor CADI paling banyak responden mengalami gangguan ringan sebanyak 36 responden (63,2 %). Pada hubungan derajat akne terhadap kualitas hidup didapatkan p = 0,270 (p > 0,05). Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan derajat keparahan akne vulgaris dengan kualitas hidup mahasiswa-mahasiswi angkatan 2017 Fakultas Kedokteran di Universitas Baiturrahmah Padang.Kata kunci -- Akne vulgaris, derajat keparahan, kualitas hidup, CADI Abstract Introduction: Acne vulgaris is a common skin disease that is often experienced by teenagers and young adults. Acne not only affects the appearance, but it also has an impact on the psychological because it will cause the sufferer to experience depression so that it can reduce the quality of life. Aims: To determine the relationship between the severity of acne vulgaris and the quality of life of students of class 2017, Faculty of Medicine at Baiturrahmah University, Padang. Method: It is an analytic observational study with cross-sectional design and the sampling method is purposive consecutive sampling with a total sample of 57 respondents. Results: Mild acne was the highest degree of acne, namely 53 respondents (93,0 %) and interpretation of CADI scores, the most respondents experienced mild disorders as many as 36 respondents (63,2 %). In correlation to the degree of acne on the quality of life, it was found that p = 0,270 (p >0.05). Conclusion: There is no correlation between the severity of acne vulgaris and the quality of life of students of class 2017 of the Faculty of Medicine at Baiturrahmah University, Padang.
