Abstract

Anak usia dini dalam mengajukan permintaan bisa verbal maupun non verbal, Kenyataannya orang dewasa kurang memahami, orang dewasa memenuhi permintaan anak tetapi tidak mendukung. Permintaan anak tidak hanya mencapai tujuan pribadi melainkan juga tujuan sosial.  Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh informasi dan mendalami strategi meminta dalam bentuk verbal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data digunakan teknik rekam dan catat. Rekaman dilakukan dari anak bangun tidur pagi hari sampai malam. Instrumen penelitian berupa kartu data yang memuat tuturan anak usia 6 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil analisis strategi anak yaitu;  1. anak usia 6 tahun mengajukan permintaan, bila yang diminta merupakan kebiasaan dilakukan berulang.  Permintaan menggunakan kata imperative seperti, minta, belikan, ambilkan, 2. anak mengajukan permintaan langsung ada dua cara; langsung ke target dan permintaan dengan alasan/ argumentasi. Sesuatu yang diminta merupakan hak yang sudah seharusnya 3. anak melakukan permintaan bila ada dunkungan moral, anak lebih berani dengan alasan dan argumentasi.

Abstract

English for tourism is to fulfil students’ need to learn English for specific purposes. Baduy people are people who live in disconnection in the inside of South Banten. The Baduy public are notable as individuals who can oversee woods and their current circumstance well. This study aims to find out the Baduy culture and climate and how they use it intelligently and admirably. The fundamental strategy used is a review technique with several PRA procedures.The examination was directed in Kanekes Village, Leuwidamar District, Lebak Regency. Banten Province. The information gathered, both essential information and auxiliary information, were then examined by subjective spellbinding investigation. The space of ​​Baduy is 5,101.8 hectares, with a populace of around 5,000 individuals spread north of 10 towns. The whole populace makes money as dry rice ranchers (huma) with a moving development framework controlled by custom. In dealing with their current circumstance, the Baduy people group holds fast to standard guidelines, the pith of which is severe spatial game plans for ensured regions and developed regions.

Abstract

In language learning it is found that learning to speak is still using the traditional ways. Teachers' attention is still focused on improving two skills, reading and writing. Though learning to speak is very important, because the inability to speak means the decline in spoken language and inability in oral language can affect written language skills. In principle, learning language is learning to communicate. For this reason, a learning model is needed that can develop the potential of elementary school students, namely active student learning models that can improve children's speaking abilities. This study aims to find an Active Student Learning model that can improve students' speaking skills and can describe their implementation, especially in elementary schools. This research method includes a Quasi-Experiment research. The research design used is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects of the study were the fifth grade students of SDN 16 Elementary Schools in Banda Aceh with a sample of 60 people including 30 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class. Research instruments in the form of tests, observations, and interviews. Data analysis of observations and interviews using descriptive analysis techniques, while the analysis of test data using statistical analysis techniques namely t test. The results of this study indicate that an increase in speaking skills through the active student learning model. T-test pre-test sample post-test experimental group showed a significant value smaller than 0.05 at the level of 95%. Abstrak Pada pembelajaran bahasa ditemukan bahwa keterampilan berbicara masih menggunakan cara cara lama. Perhatian guru masih terfokus pada peningkatan dua keterampilan yaitu membaca dan menulis. Padahal keterampilan berbicara sangatlah penting, karena ketidak mampuan berbicara berarti kemunduran berbahasa lisan dan kemunduran dalam berbahasa lisan dapat berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berbahasa tulis. Pada prinsinya belajar bahasa adalah belajar berkomunikasi. Untuk itu, dibutuhkan model pembelajaran yang dapat mengembangkan potensi siswa sekolah dasar yaitu model pembelajaran siswa aktif yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan model Pembelajaran Siswa Aktif yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa dan dapat mendeskripsikan implementasinya khususnya di sekolah dasar Metode Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian Kuasi-Eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar SDN 16 kota Banda Aceh dengan sampel 60 orang mencakup 30 siswa di kelas eksperimen dan 30 siswa di kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes, pengamatan, dan wawancara. Analisis data pengamatan dan wawancara menggunakan teknik deskriptif analisis, sedangkan analisis data tes menggunakan teknik analisis statistik yaitu uji t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan keterampilan berbicara melalui model students active learning. Uji t sampel pra tes pasca tes kelompok eksperimen memperlihatkan nilai significant lebih kecil dari 0,05 pada taraf 95 %. Kata Kunci : active learning, keterampilan berbucara, sekolah dasar

Abstract

The objective of this study is to find out if there is a significant difference between the eighth-grade students of SMP Islam YPUI Banda Aceh who are taught writing recount text by using TAI strategy and those who are taught without using TAI strategy. This study was conducted by using quantitative approach and research design used was experimental study. The population of this study was all eight grade students of SMP Islam YPUI Banda Aceh. The total population is 60 students who are composed of two classes; VIII Male and VIII Female. Every class consisted of 30 students.While the samples of this study were the students who were taken from both classes. One class was as an experimental group and the other was as the control group. In this study, class VIII Female  was taken as control group and class VIII Male  was taken as experimental group.The data was  analyzed by using t- test. Based on the result of the study, the writer found that there was a significant difference between the two groups. It can be proven from the result of this study where the result of post-test of the both group was 4.26, it was greater than t-table (2.00).Based on the result of the study, English teachers of SMP Islam YPUI Banda Aceh who teach writing skill especially recount texts are suggested to use TAI strategy in teaching and learning process because it can improve the students’ ability in mastering writing especially writing recount  text.

Abstract

Studi ini didasari oleh adanya kebutuhan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara pada siswa sekolah dasar. Fenomena yang terjadi bahwa pembelajaran berbicara belum mendapatperhatian serius dari guru. Di samping itu, keterampilan berbicara menjadi suatu tuntutankurikulum Bahasa Indonesia. Pada prinsinya bahasa Indonesia adalah belajar berkomunikasi.Maka, dalam konteks inilah peneliti merancang sebuah penelitian tentang model pembelajaransiswa aktif (student active learning) yang bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan model PSA dalammeningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmenemukan model Pembelajaran Siswa Aktif yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicarasiswa dan dapat mendeskripsikan implementasinya khususnya disekolah dasar.
