Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada penutupan tempat wisata di Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah termasuk Lokasi Wisata Air Hitam Sungai Sabangau Kota Palangka Raya. Akibat penutupan ini, para pengusaha wisata kehilangan pendapatannya. Kebijakan new normal memicu semangat untuk memfasilitasi pembukaan kembali tempat wisata ini. Berbagai pertemuan, koordinasi dan kolaborasi dengan multistakholder telah dilakukan. Pendampingan berjalan lancar dan berhasil dengan baik yang ditandai dengan lounching Reaktivasi Wisata Air Hitam Sungai Sabangau pada tanggal 16 Agustus 2020 oleh Wakil Walikota Palangka Raya.  Pembukaan kembali ini menggerakkan kegiatan ekonomi setempat. Pengunjung datang dan pendapatan operator kapal wisata susur sungai mulai kembali. Masih ada multiflier efek lain yang diterima para pelaku usaha wisata yang lain. Di samping manfaat ekonomi, pendampingan ini mampu meningkatkan kesadaran Pokdarwis dan pelaku usaha pariwisata untuk menerapkan protokol kesehatan dan memelihara fasilitas pelabuhan. Keberhasilan proses pendampingan ini disebabkan oleh keterlibatan multipihak selama proses pendampingan.

Abstract

Alumni of High Education is expected to be not only job seekers but also job creators. The role of the business world in employment is enormous, both large businesses, medium businesses, and MSMEs. The absorption of labor by SMEs is far greater than others. However, the development of MSMEs is still hampered by several obstacles, including limited knowledge in the field of production technology, limitations in reading the market, marketing technology is always simple, not thinking about strategic plans both short and long term and others. Universitas PGRI Palangka Raya tries to play a role in increasing employment through the establishment of new entrepreneurs and technology-based through Business Incubator of Universitas PGRI Palangka Raya. The novelty of the approach developed in developing this Entrepreneurial Business Incubator is the application of Human Design to detect potential and weaknesses of tenants so that a business that is suitable for the tenant can be determined. The Human Design approach will help provide direction for tenants to start their own business. The selection of tenants starts from the Entrepreneurship Seminar, which is then followed by a one-week Entrepreneurship Training Bootcamp. During the Entrepreneurship Training Bootcamp, tenants will be shown their potential and weaknesses with the Human Design approach. After the Entrepreneurship Training Bootcamp, tenants are asked to perfect their business plans and are still given Entrepreneurship Coaching. Until the end of the first-year program, eight successful independent entrepreneurs have been formed.

Abstract

Field research was done to evaluate the financial benefits of forest honeybee business conducted by the local community at Kameloh Baru Village, Taruna Village, and Tumbang Nusa Village in Central Kalimantan. These villages studied are known as a natural honeybee-producing center in Central Kalimantan. The local tribe gathers forest honeybee from Apis dorsata that have done for generations. The results revealed that the income of forest honeybee gathering people in 2015 amounted to IDR six to ten million once harvest. The owner of a tree of honeybee nest has five times higher income than harvesters. However, after a forest fire in 2015, revenues in 2016 and 2017 dropped dramatically to 25% of the previous year. The depletion of natural food resources is a leading factor in honeybee production decrease. On the other hand, the farmers do not have the initiative to cultivate the host trees and reserve natural food resources. Forest honeybee cannot be harvested regularly, although the market demand for forest honeybee is still tremendous. On the other hand, a proper technique of honeybee harvesting did not conduct so that the resulting honeybee quality decreases. Neverthenless, the local tribe can develop sustainable forest honeybee gathering based on their ecological knowledge as incentives for forest conservation.

Abstract

The purpose of the blood donation social devotion program were: 1) to assisted the Blood Donor Unit of The Indonesian Red Cross (UTD-PMI) increased blood reserves to fulfil the blood needs in Palangka Raya city, 2) to socialized blood donation activities on the Universitas PGRI Palangka Raya (UPP) for the communities in and around the campus. Blood donation social activities were attended by 99 participants from students of police school (SPN), students, UPP Lecturers, university student organisation board (BEM), student regiment (Menwa), and the general public. By sex participants of this activity were dominated by men (73 people) and the women (26 people). The amount of blood bags that can be collected during this activity were 69 blood bags. Blood donation activities that are attractively packaged, publicized, and involving organizations/institutions can increase the level of community participation.

Abstract

Kalakai containing compounds or substances that included a functional food. One way is the use of plants kalakai processing into chips kalakai. Processed chips kalakai located in the city of Palangka Raya one of which is Imur. The purpose of this study was to determine the production cost of chips kalakai imur, knowing revenue kalakai imur chips and determine the efficiency of the chips kalakai imur. This research was conducted in Jl. Manjuhan city of Palangka Raya. When the study will take place over four (4) months. From the results of analysis show that (1) the cost of production of chips kalakai imur Rp. 10,141,200.00 during the period (per month), (2) income kalakai imur chips during the period (per month) Rp. 14.400.000,00, (3) Income/profit business kalakai imur chips during the period (per month) Rp. 4.258.800,00 (4) Efficiency of 1.4 imur kalakai chips.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is gaining influence boiler ash on growth and yield of tomatoes, (4) obtain optimal dosing of boiler ash is curuently applied to some media. This research was conducted at Jl. Manjuhan Palangkaraya. The time of this study will last for 4 months This study uses a completely randomized design factorial 2 factors. The first factor is the dose Abu boiler with a 5 stage treotment (without ash, 5 ton.ha-1, l0 ton ha-1, 15 ton.ha-1 and 20 ton.ha-1 . The second factor is the type of media with 3 levels of treatment (Soil sand, soil Podsolid and Peat. The treatment combinotion obtained as-mony as 15 combinations of treatment, with a repeat 3 times. The survey results reveoled that (1) the interaction of growth media and boiler ash dose showed significantly different results against 2,4 dan 6-wieks after planting variables plant height, amount of leaves on the age, 2, 4 and 6 weeks after, plantig, stem diameter at 4 weeks afier planting, and shoot dry weight lastest research. Treatment combination boiler ash 15 ton / ha and peat media (treatment b4t3) provide significant variahles plant height, leaf amount, diameter of stock, and shoot dry weight.

Abstract

Technological innovation in local food products is absolutely necessary, by creating the added value in such a way as local products so that the products produced have more or at least the same value as local products. The result of the creation of local products, Copasme able to meet the growing demands of global consumers, namely in addition to demanding aspects of pleasure, the enjoyment of local products, consumers still want aspects of health and safety. Copasme is one of the alternative drink sachets developed in Palangkaraya City. From the analysis of copasme sachet business during one period (per month) it is known that (1) production cost is IDR. 6,472,000.00 (2) revenue of IDR. 21,600,000.00, (3) Net income / profit of IDR. 15,128,000.00 (4) Efficiency of 3.3. This shows that the sachet copas business is efficient or feasible.

Abstract

The tendency for excessive consumption of MSG has prompted various studies to find a replacement. One of the ingredients studied is Sungkai leaf powder (Albertisia papuana Becc) which has been used by people in Kalimantan as a flavor enhancer. This study aims to determine the dosage of use of sungkai leaves which is preferred by panelists through organoleptic tests. Panelists (as many as 104 panelists) were selected by incidental sampling from among housewives (32), food traders (17), students of the UPR industrial technology program (41) and ordinary people (14). The treatments were made in 5 levels, namely control (M1), 0.5 gram / L (M2), 1.0 gram / L (M3), 1.5 gram / L (M4) and 2.0 gram / L (M5) ). The results showed that Sungkai leaf powder (Albertisia papuana Becc) can be used as a natural food delicacy because it can raised umami (delicious taste), which is caused by the synergy of protein, natrium and free amino acids. The panelists' response to the optimal dose of using sungkai leaf powder varies greatly depending on the habits and tastes of the panelists. This study also concluded that the application of Sungkai leaf powder was not too dominant in adding flavor and changing the color of the dishes.
