Abstract

Untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa, diperlukan motivasi yang tinggi. Banyak variabel yang mempengaruhi untuk meningkatkan motivasi, salah satunya adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan Emotional Spritual Quotion (ESQ). Dari hasil observasi terlihat bahwa motivasi berprestasi mahasiswa masih terlihat rendah. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara ESQ dengan motivasi berprestasi bagi mahasiswa semester 3 Fakultas Ushuluddin IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang.

Abstract

Prestasi belajar ujian MID Semester Ganjil peserta didik pada Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020 ada peserta didik yang mendapatkan nilai dibawah KKM yaitu 35,5% dan ada juga peserta didik yang mendapatkan nilai diatas KKM yaitu 64,5% dari 200 peserta didik kelas VIII. Dengan melihat fenomena di atas, maka penelitian ini difokuskan pada hubungan lingkungan keluarga dengan prestasi belajar peserta didik kelas VIII di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 6 Kota Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang berbentuk deskriptif korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII.6, VIII.8, VIII.10, VIII.11, VIII.13 VIII.15 yang berjumlah 200 peserta didik. Dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 133 peserta didik. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling. Variabel penelitian ini terdiri dari variabel Lingkungan Keluarga (X) dan variabel Prestasi Belajar (Y). Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah angket tentang Lingkungan keluarga dan dokumentasi yaitu tentang Prestasi Belajar. Data diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 20.00 serta dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus Product Moment Correlation Coefesien Karl Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara lingkungan keluarga dengan prestasi belajar, dimana hasil r hitung 0,506 lebih besar dari r tabel 0,159. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan semakin baik lingkungan keluarga maka semakin tinggi pula prestasi belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kecanduan peserta didik memainkan game online yang dilengkapi fitur fitur menarik akibat  maraknya perkembangan teknologi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak sosial, psikis dan fisik kecanduan game online pada peserta didik di SMPN 12 Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian field research dengan metode kualitatif. Sumber data bagi peneliti adalah peserta didik SMPN 12 Padang, wali kelas dan guru BK guna memperoleh informasi tentang dampak kecanduan game online pada peserta didik di SMPN 12 Padang. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil wawancara dengan responden kemudian dibandingkan dengan observasi, diolah, dianalisa dan disajikan dalam suatu kalimat yang bermakna. Keabsahan data diperiksa dengan teknik pemeriksaan derajat kepercayaan. Hasil penelitian ini sebagai berikut: bahwa kecanduan bermain game online sangat berpengaruh pada sosial, psikis, dan fisik peserta didik. Kecanduaan game online membuat peserta didik lupa waktu, melalaikan tugas dan tanggungjawab, kurang interaksi sosial,emosi peserta didik menjadi tidak stabil, dan emosi mudah terpancing ketika tidak bisa mengalahkan tantangan yang dimainkannya. Dari segi fisik peserta didik mengalami beberapa cedera pada bagian tubuh seperti leher, punggung, tulang belakang, pergelangan tangan, dan juga mengalami penurunan berat badan akibat lupa makan dan penambahan berat badan akibat sering ngemil dan makan makanan siap saji.

Abstract

This research departs from researcher observation at TPQ Masjid Al-Kautsar Bungo Bumi Indah Estate Bungo Pasang Subdistrict Koto Tangah Subdistrict Padang City. Researchers found various problems, such as: 1) learning facilities, classrooms for learning santri already inadequate. 2) Variations in the santri learning schedule. The formulation of the problem in this research are: 1) How is the description of student learning facilities at TPQ Masjid Al-Kautsar. 2) How to describe the motivation to learn santri in TPQ Masjid Al-Kautsar. 3) Is there a significant relationship between study facilities with the motivation to learn santri at TPQ Al-Kautsar Mosque. Aim. 1) To know the condition of learning facilities at TPQ Masjid Al-Kautsar. 2) To know the description of students' motivation in TPQ Masjid Al-Kautsar. 3) To find the relationship between learning facilities with the motivation to learn santri at TPQ Masjid Al-Kautsar Bungo Bumi Indah Housing Bungo Pasang Subdistrict Koto Tangah Subdistrict Padang City.

Abstract

Dosen sebagai tenaga pendidik tenaga kependidikan diperguruan tinggi mempunyai peran yang sangat besar dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Terkait dengan hal ini, pemerintah pusat melalui kementerian riset, teknologi, dan perguruan tinggi telah berupaya untuk mewujudkan tenaga pengajar (dosen) yang bekerja secara professional sehingga dapat menyelenggarakan pendidikan yang efektif dan efesien. Dalam kenyataannya terjadi banyak persoalan, tidak hanya profesionalisme melainkan juga pemenuhan kebutuhan dosen secara kuantitas perlu dilakukan kajian dan analisis, sehingga diperoleh kebutuhan dosen yang ideal berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan. Hal ini tentunya menjadi dasar dalam merencanakan kebutuhan dosen yang akan datang.

Abstract

This research begins with the many phenomena of character deviation in children in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the description of the character education model implemented by teachers in PAUD. The research method uses R & D with the development model using ADDIE. The population consists of parents of early childhood. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to respondents. This research is only in the early stages of analysis and design. The results show that habituation is generally used by teachers to instill religious values, independence, and help, while to instill the values of honesty and tolerance they tend to use the example of the teacher. Instilling the values of discipline and responsibility using rules.Key words: recognize, character building, early childhood.

Abstract

Pesantren is the oldest educational institution in Indonesia.Pesantren is one of the traditional Islamic education systems in Indonesia which is also very influential in the social character of the Indonesian nation. Pesantren is an institution that always participates in building the nation's character in every condition with the characteristics of the pesantren itself.The problem in this study is how the role of pesantren in shaping the nation's morals and character. And the purpose of this study is to find out how the role of Islamic boarding schools in shaping the morals and character of the nation. This type of research is qualitative. The primary data used are books that discuss the curriculum and the role of Islamic boarding schools. While the secondary data used are books or research results that are directly related to the problem. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis, which is trying to explore the existing problems and then analyze them. The results of the study indicate that Islamic boarding schools have a role in shaping the morals and character of the nation. It is proven by the number of nations born from Islamic boarding schools. Islamic boarding schools need to be preserved and developed. That's how pesantren have many roles and provide concrete evidence in shaping the morals and character of the nation.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the use of ICT-based learning models on students’ learning motivation at Darul Falah High School. The object of the research was students of Class X of Darul Falah High School, namely to see whether students’ abilities in ICT-based learning in geography subjects increased students learning motivation. The research method used is the classroom action research method. The term classroom action research emphasizes class as a research setting. The research developed was in the form of a cyclical review process consisting of four stages, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation and (4) reflection. The results of this study are students’ learning motivation before participating in Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-based learning. There is no enthusiasm for learning. Students chatted more, did not focus on the lesson, and did not want to discuss and do assignments well. There is no competition to get good grades, and learning objectives have not been achieved. Understanding of the subject matter has not appeared. Implementing ICT-based learning provides benefits, including being more practical and making it easier for teachers to deliver subject matter. Students find it easier to access information related to the subject matter. This is supported by facilities and infrastructure in schools that support the ICT-based learning process, namely the existence of internet facilities.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the learning process which was initially carried out face-to-face at school into distance learning at home. This is an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Of course, an effective learning media is needed to support the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of using social media on students' motivation and learning outcomes during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is ex-post facto quantitative research. The populations in this study were students of class XII IPA and IPS MA Negeri 1 Solok Plus Keterampilan as many as 169 people. By using random sampling technique, a sample of 51 students was obtained. Data was collected by using questionnaires and documentation techniques. To analyze the data, this study used simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) There was a significant effect between the use of WhatsApp social media on the motivation to learn Al-Qur'an Hadith in class XI at MA Negeri 1 Solok Plus Keterampilan. This is evidenced by the obtained significance value of 0.000. Because the significance value is (p) 0.05, then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. (2) There is no significant effect between the use of WhatsApp social media on the learning outcomes of Al-Qur'an Hadith class XI at MA Negeri 1 Solok Plus Keterampilan. This is evidenced by the obtained significance value of 0.560. Because the significance value is (p) 0.05, then Ha is rejected and H0 is accepted. The recommendations of this research are: Principals should be able to give freedom to educators to use media that can support online learning. The school principal must also provide supporting facilities so that online learning can run effectively. Educators can make optimal use of the use of WhatsApp as an online learning medium or as a communication medium to increase students' learning motivation. Educators are expected to find alternatives in order to improve learning outcomes in using WhatsApp as an online learning medium.
