Abstract

The structure of household expenditure describe the purchasing power of households. For farmer households, their purchasing power is reflected in the exchange rate of the farmers (NTP). NTP describe the higher purchasing power is also higher, which will influence the consumption patterns of farmers.This study aims to: 1) describe the characteristics of farmers, 2) calculate the exchange rate farmers (NTP) and 3) to analyze the pattern of household consumption and horticulture crop farmers in the Eastern District of Muara Sabak. Primary data type with purposive sampling method, were analyzed with descriptive methods in the form of table distibusi frequency and cross tabulation. The results showed: 1) 82.5%farmers belonging to the productive age, the program received by farmers only PAJALELE program, the number of household members mostly 3-4 people and no one including smallholders to own property ownership status of more than 50%. Crops planted by farmers are rice, corn and beans (soy and peanut) and horticultural chili, cucumber, beans, cabbage, eggplant, kale, dragon fruit and litchi. A total of 95% had a second job, the main income of the average farmer Rp. 14,453,162 per growing season or Rp. 3,613,290.5 per month, the average revenue side Rp.2.658.667; 2)NTP did not show a significant difference to household NTP (NTPRP) respectively are 1.47045 and 1.67339 with NTP value distributions for each respondent so lame; 3) The consumption pattern comprising farmers of food and non food consumption in which the average number of non-food consumption is greater than consumption of food. Food consumption is dominated by rice, while non contribute most to the consumption of processed foods. Consumption expenditure for transportation of proportion is highest among the other non-food consumption. Advisable to socialize and educate farmers about the smart and healthy consumption patterns that consumption of great benefit to the quality of human resources and increase agricultural production.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the structure of household income and the level of welfare of farmers in the sub-sector of food crops and horticulture in Muara Sabak Timur Subdistrict. The survey method using questionnaires was conducted to collect primary data as the main data in this study. The sampling method used is purpossive sampling to determine the sample location and accidental sampling is used to determine the respondents of farmers as many as 40 farmers directly at the site. Data analysis method with descriptive statistics and logistic regression. The results showed that the source of income of farmers' households in Muara Sabak Timur subdistrict is still dominated by the main income from food crops and hortikutura farming even though today almost all farmers have jobs outside the farm as a side job. Variable income and the number of family members have a significant impact on the welfare of farmers in a positive direction while the education of the head of the household has a significant effect with a negative direction.

Abstract

Economic development carried out by a State aims to realize a prosperous, just and prosperous society. The success of a development can be seen from the development of existing economic indicators, whether it has increased or decreased. Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) is included in one of the indicators of development of a region to see the level of community welfare in a region. PDRB which tends to increase indicates an increase in development and community welfare that continues to improve, while the Declining GDP reflects the decline in development and a decrease in the level of community welfare. Investment is an important factor in determining the level of national income which means it depends on the amount of capital and technology planted and developed in society. Investment activities allow an area to continuously increase economic activity and employment opportunities. This increase in investment in both government and private is very important. The conceptual framework in this study is that the Economy of Jambi Province is influenced by two economic variables, namely; PMDN investment and PMA investment. PDRB as a dependent variable while PMDN and PMA Investment Variable. Descriptive research methods for analyzing data with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method is a multiple linear regression. The results showed that PMDN had no significant effect on PDRB. There is a negative relationship between PMA and PDRB. Results of Research Analysis of multiple linear regressions that PMA has a significant effect on Economic Growth in Jambi Province. Based on the results of simultaneous tests that the variables PMDN and PMA simultaneously have a significant effect on the Economy of Jambi Province. While partially variable PMDN has a negative but insignificant effect on the Economy of Jambi Province. Recommendations ; The local government is expected to increase investment in Domestic Investment (PMDN) in Jambi Province through policies by creating a conducive investment climate, simplifying the licensing process, improving infrastructure, and improving the quality of human resources so that it is expected that the value of Investment can increase and can encourage the Economy of Jambi Province.

Abstract

Good financial planning and management and selecting the right investment are important aspects in optimizing financial resources in preparation for the future. The ability to manage income for migrant workers must be able to allocate it to the right form of investment. The purpose of this community service is so that migrant workers in Malaysia have good financial literacy knowledge and are able to choose the right investment instruments after the pandemic and face the coming recession. The results of the posttest given show that their understanding increases after the presentation of the material, they can manage finances and allocate income and are more careful in choosing gold investments that are widely circulating in the market.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of the work environment and job satisfaction through simultaneous and partial motivation on the performance of employees of the National and Political Unity Agency in East Tanjung Jabung Regency. This research uses descriptive and verification analysis methods. Descriptive analysis is used to describe the characteristics of respondents and research variables without testing. This research uses a census method, namely all employees at the National and Political Unity Agency in East Tanjung Jabung Regency. The data analysis technique used is path analysis, with the help of the SPSS version 22.0 software program. The results of this research show that the independent variables, namely work environment and job satisfaction, have a positive and significant effect on motivation and have a positive impact on employee performance. This proves that by improving the work environment and job satisfaction, employee motivation will also increase which will have an impact on increasing employee performance. This research concluded that the work environment and job satisfaction and through motivation partially had a positive effect on employee performance at the National and Political Unity Agency in East Tanjung Jabung Regency.
