Abstract

Training is a systematic process, which helps people to learn how to be more effective at work by modifying knowledge, skills or attitudes through learning experience to achieve effective performance. The object of case study from this research is Bank Indonesia in Manado. Research objective is to analyse the differences in employee performance before and after training. Variables which have been used in this research are: quality/ quantity of work, planning/ organizing, initiative/ commitment, teamwork/ cooperation and communication. This study applies with comparative method using paired sample t-test to verify and to prove the research hypothesis. The numbers of respondent are 40 employees who already follow the training. The result shows that quality/ quantity of work, planning/ organizing, initiative/ commitment, teamwork/ cooperation and communication giving a significant difference in employee performance before and after training at Bank Indonesia in Manado. The training program is one of the valuable systems as a way to improve employee performance. Therefore, management of Bank Indonesia also needs to increase the effectiveness of training and enhance the variety of the material and module that would be given in the training program. Abstract

Sumber daya manusia sangat berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan perekonomian suatu perusahaan lokal maupun global. Itulah mengapa gaya kepemimpinan, motivasi dan kompensasi merupakan bagian yang penting dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia, sehingga dapat mempengaruhi kinerja dari suatu karyawan yang dapat menunjang prestasi perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk  mengetahui pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan, motivasi dan Kompensasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, Sampel yang digunakan adalah karyawan pada PT. Horiguchi Sinar Insani,sehingga Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan  menggunakan metode Survey, didapat jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian sebanyak 55 responden dan data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan Regresi Linier Berganda. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan kesimpulan bahwa variable, Gaya Kepemimpinan, Motivasi, serta Kompensasi,secara simultan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sedangkan hasil pengujian secara parsial variabel gaya kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.Saran: Seabiknya Perusahan  dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan efektifitas  kerja karyawan.

Abstract

These past few decades, the internet has developed into a vast global market place for the trading of goods and services. People are doing business online and it has become more easy and fast due to internet development. Online shopping has grown in popularity, mainly because people find it convenient and easy to shop anytime and anywhere. These new technologies also altered our way to communicate and to interconnect with people.  Internet advancement has developed and transformed Word-of-Mouth into something much more influential and fast-spreading, Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM). This research is conducted in order to analyze the influence of E-WOM using experience, perceived credibility, and customer susceptibility to interpersonal influence on consumer buying decision. The sample of this research is people who have been shopped in Lazada online shop as many as 60 respondents of purposive sampling. The result of this research reveals that experience is the only variable that has a significant influence on consumer buying decision. Abstract

Abstract: Nowadays, social media is growing so rapidly and almost everyone in the world has account social media. Ranging from children to adults use social media to communicate with other people in daily life. The awareness for SMEs in Manado to take advantage in using social media already existed and continues to increase day by day. This research was held in Manado as a developing city in Indonesia with SMEs that has Social media as the samples. Qualitative research is deployed to define the nature SMEs in Manado. The results of this research show the social media can increase the sales, revenue, brand awareness and the number of customer of SMEs in Manado. The problem that SMEs faced in using social media in Manado is the SMEs cannot respond to all customers who want to wonder about their products on social media. For the government, it is necessary to provide good connection internet especially not only in urban but rather in rural areas, because there are still many in rural areas who haven't connected with the internet , with the internet people can access social media which can help the SMES in rural areas to develop their business.Keywords: small medium enterprise, social media impact and its benefit, problem in using social media

Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this study are to identify how behavioral segmentation factors influence the segmentation of specialty coffee house market especially BlackCup Coffee House in Manado and to identify effective strategies developed by specialty coffee house business in Manado in accordance with behavioral segmentation approach. This is a qualitative study, 10 respondents were chosen by purposive sampling. They are all customers who ever visited BlackCup Coffee House Manado. The findings from this research are: Coffee houses with specialty coffee as the main product began to be the choice for many people, especially for coffee-drinkers in Manado. Also, considering the coffee house industry with specialty concept are still relatively new, then business actor should start to make this as business opportunity to specialty coffee house industry more widely known in Manado. ­­Keywords: market segmentation, behavioral segmentation, consumer behavior, black cup.

Abstract

Abstract: Positioning the right employee in the right job would bring the positive impact for the organization. Organization required employee to perform well conducting their job. However, people can not stuck in one job to get multiple skill. They need to adapt to other job and will become an expert in it. This study aims to identify about the role of job rotation practices towards employee performance in Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang (KPKNL) and to describe and explore The Role of job Rotation Practices towards Employee Performance in Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang (KPKNL).. This research is using qualitative research method that explores the theories from several journals, articles, books and previous research. The type of this research is descriptive research. Population in this research is the entire employee in KPKNL that ever experienced job rotation. This study found that job rotation bring positive impact for the employee, develop employee performance and there are 3 major factors which is efficiency, productivity, and quality that become the measuring instrument of employee performance. The suggestion for organization, before doing job rotation make  conversation with employee first. For the employee, always learn to get multiple skill. Keywords: human resource management, job design, job rotation, employee performance.

Abstract

Abstract: One of the worker’s behavior is turnover intentions that will culminate in a decision to leave his job. Turnover is a tendency of employee to quit their job.This research aims to analyze the job satisfaction and job alternative have influence on employee turnover partially and simultaneously. Type of this research is descriptive with quantitative approach and Multiple Regression used as the measurement tool. The sample size of this research is a total of 100 employee of PT. Hasjrat Abadi Manado and were distributed to respondent through questionnaire.The result for the research says that Job Satisfaction, Perceived availability of job alternative significant influence on Turnover Intention simultaneously, Job Satisfaction has no significant influence toward Turnover Intention in PT. Hasjrat Abadi Manado partially, and Perceived availability of job alternative behavior has significant influence toward Turnover Intention in PT. Hasjrat Abadi Manado partially. The suggestion that can be given from this study is that the company should provide the right prevention solution to prevent undesirable things that may be happened.                           ­­Keywords: job satisfaction, job alternative, turnover intention

Abstract

Abstract: Social Media is rapidly emerging as the next big frontier for customer engagement and interactions. A lot of social media users in Indonesian, businesses, and brands worldwide are strategizing marketing plans on their social channels in order to advertise and sell their products. Various kinds of business opportunities, business information, marketing strategies of a product can be found in every facebook update its users. Creativity content on facebook can be a medium of customer engagement. the purpose of this research are to analyze social media marketing creativity strategies as medium of consumer engagement, To identify a medium of customer engagement in social media creativity strategie. This study uses purposive and snowball sampling. This research highlighted the ability of social media to enable more frequent, faster, and richer interactions among groups of people. The results of this research from 10 informants from members of forum buying and seling. The findings of this study revealed that five factors have a significant impact on customer engagement: Trust in information, concern for privacy, perception of reliability, security in social media and use of social media. The more the customers viewed an organization to be trustworthy and secure, the better they would interact. For the customer or buyers, it is not a problem to do transaction, but make sure product you want to buy it is .  Keywords: social media marketing, marketing creativity strategy,customer engagement.

Abstract

Abstract: Indonesia produces a variety of fruits, especially in North Sulawesi. The demand of fruit in Indonesia has increased by 10% over the last five years creating opportunities for people to sell local fruits at local farmers markets. In order for local fruit sellers to compete in the market, a strategy must be formed to gain competitive advantage. The objective of this study is to identify the competitive advantage of local fruit sellers in Pasar Beriman Tomohon. This research takes a qualitative approach by conducting interviews with 10 local fruit sellers in Pasar Beriman Tomohon as the respondents, which were chosen through purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The findings of this research are there are four variables that local fruit sellers in Pasar Beriman Tomohon consider to gain competitive advantage, which are factor conditions, demand conditions, related and supporting industries and company strategy, structure and rivalry. There are several similarities in factor conditions and related and supporting industries between the local fruit sellers and several differences in demand conditions and company strategy, structure and rivalry that are used as a competitive advantage. Local fruit sellers in Pasar Beriman Tomohon should form a strategy not only based on pricing but also services. Keywords: competitive advantage, strategic management, traditional market, qualitative study

Abstract

Abstract: Branding has been used as one of marketing strategy not only by profit organizations but also non-profit organizations. Thus, church also uses branding as one of its marketing strategy to enhance, promote, and to reach out to their market which is the congregations by creating their own brand that represents their style, value, characters, and uniqueness. The researcher conducted this research to investigate whether the church branding has influence towards church participation. This study uses qualitative method with exploratory approach. Meanwhile in-depth interview is used to collect the data among the respondents which are Hillsong Church Bali participants. Findings of this research shows that Hillsong church branding influence Hillsong Church Bali participations in many aspects rapidly and significantly such as church growth, increasing number of service attendance and committed volunteers. From the results, it is recommended for Hillsong Church Bali to keep up with their service standard and equip the leaders, workers, and volunteers through Hillsong Church programs. Hillsong Church Bali also needs to improve its system and management by applying Hillsong church’s system and management in order to perform better. Keywords: church branding, church participation
